Google play store not displaying local currency in paiement window - General Monetization

Hi there
I hope this is the right category for this question : we are trying to publish an app on android play store with in-app purchases, but we have been blocked for days by a currency problem.
The google account is based in Ukraine and we entered a payment method in the form of a Ukrainian currency (Hryvnia) account. As a result, the prices of IAP items had to be entered in Hryvnia. When the player wants to make an in-app purchase, Google does send us a price in the player's local currency (e.g. euro in France) which we display in the game. But then, when the google payment window is displayed, the price is in Hryvnia and not in the local currency, which is not convenient for us.
Is this normal? What should we do to make sure that Google displays the price in the local currency?
We searched the web but we havent found any usefull information. We asked our question to google support but we havent received any feedback (!). We tried to change the payment method by using a dollar account, which is allowed by the Ukrainian bank via an intermediary bank in Germany. But we still can't enter prices for IAP items other than in Hryvnia. Is this normal? Do we need to recreate an account and move the application if we want to change the payment method??
Thank you in advance for your answers

Do they have to open a bank account in other country like US and open a merchant account from that.

Google Play store shows content for wrong country

Hi,
I am not sure if this is the correct section to post this query.
I am in India. I tried to order the Google Nexus 4 from the Google Play Store using my office machine, which connects to the net using a US proxy. However, I cancelled my order later. Now the Play Store on my current phone shows all US content and I am forbidden from installing India only apps. The country in my Google Account still shows India and so does my address in Google Wallet (I had deleted the US addresses that I had obtained from a package forwarding service). Please help me get this resolved.
Thanks
even i have the same problem...

From Google :
Thanks for contacting us about country support for Google Play. We use the billing address of your default payment instrument in Google Wallet to help determine your home country for accessing the Play Store. Our collection of content can vary by country, so your view of the Play Store may differ from what others are seeing when you travel outside of the country listed on your default payment method's billing address.
Please note that you must have a valid payment method with a billing address located inside a country in order to access that country's Play Store.
If you're having issues viewing your intended country's Play Store and would like to change your default payment method or update an existing billing address in Google Wallet, please use the following steps:
1) Sign into your Google Wallet account to manage your payment methods (https://wallet.google.com/manage/paymentMethods)
2) Add a new card or change your default payment instrument to one with a billing address located inside your desired country
3) Open the Play Store and navigate to any item available for download
4) Click to begin a download until you reach the "Accept and buy" screen (no need to complete the purchase)
5) Close the Play Store and clear data for the Google Play Store application (Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Clear Data) or clear your browser cache
6) Re-open the Play Store. You should now see the Play Store that matches your default payment instrument's billing country.
If you haven't yet added a payment method to your account for the first time, please add a card directly from the Play Store with a billing address that matches your intended country location. Then, follow steps 3 through 6 to show your intended country's Play Store.
If you believe that you're experiencing a different location-related issue, please first verify if the country of your primary payment method matches your intended country. If the countries match, please provide any screenshots and additional details that might help me resolve your issue.
We appreciate your feedback as we continue bringing more content to Google Play. Thank you for reaching out!
This worked for me, however on my second device I had to wipe Play store data/cache then re-accept T&C's

Register Google Merchant Account from supported country for other developers, get %s

Hi, I am interested have anyone tried such deals? Is there any experienced users/developers?
The point is, that I can't register merchant account from my country and it means that I can't sell anything in google play. PayPal can't receive money in my country also. So I am currently using admob in my application which gives me less than 1$ for month
Many users writed in their reviews, that they want to donate money and support me, but there is no easy ways for that. For example many developers using strategy of selling "donated" apps on google play. So I think, that someone can register merchant account in supported country with his address and credit card, then attach it to my developer account. If there will be some money, then for example 10% of revenue will keep that user, and 90% will send to me via bank transfer for example.
Is there any experience related to this?
And have anyone tried to attach other user's merchant account to his own developer account?
Also we can create some community for this with users/developers from supported countries and developers from unsupported countries.
Interesting. I'm sure this would work if you could find the right person to work with. Though, have you tried using a proxy to create a developer account? (So, that Google servers would think you were in a different country).
You say PayPal can't receive money in your country, but I believe AdMob can deposit funds directly to a bank account (this is how I have it set up). Or, there are many other ad networks out there with possibly even more payment options.
I have a few developer accounts for when I was working at different places. And, as an experiment, I was able to create one of them with a Visa gift card to pay the $25 fee. The merchant account is still tied to the developer account via the email address used, but in the merchant account settings it is possible to add account access and change bank information.
Well, I think Payscout.com is the best alternative payment gateway for your business. They offer free account setup services to merchant.

[Q] Check Unmanaged In app Billing?

Hi! I'm new to Android Developing and I have some question. I have create in app billing (unmanaged product) for user to purchase our Virtual Currency. We also store that data in our server.
A user claim that he bought our iab but didn't received the Virtual Currency. As I check on our server there is no record of this user purchasing.
So I think that may be play store would store these data, but I can't find it.
So my question is:
For Unmanaged product there is no way to check if user has purchased the IAB?
If there is no way can you give me some advice?

Play Store country best practice?

Hi,
I have some (big) trouble with the google play store and the country setting. I'm an expat software engineer and are changing my location frequently. The play store only allows me to change my country once a year and to change the country I need a payment method in this country. It's not always easy to create a bank account in any country and I don't want to create always a bank account. Besides in many countries you only get a credit card if you are having a monthly income in that country. And even then there is still one year barrier to change your country.
Usually it's not a big deal as most apps are available every where. But some serves apps for government, cell carrier, public transportation and others are region locked. It is very annoying and troublesome not to have access to them.
Is there any best practice to change the country? Is the only way to have multiple google accounts or is there a more convenient way?
Thanks up front for your help.
