Unlock mobile hotspot, stock rooted lollipop.

Is there a way to unlock mobile hotspot for the AT&T m7, rooted and on lollipop? I'm on straight talk so calling AT&T isn't an option. I've tried various tethering apps but they still bring up the call 611 message. thank you.

Sch-i545 pp

Hello team,
MODEL: SCH-I545PP
SKU: SCHI545KPP
CARRIER: VERIZON
Does anyone knows the solution to unlock or settings to use this phone globally with any carrier.
It just comes unlocked. I had it running on my friend's T-Mobile SIM for a few minutes with everything working. I did have to manually add his APN settings.
Hey friend,
So to make outgoing calls you gotta put that Apn settings?

Wi-Fi Calling on a Rooted H830 w/AT&T SIM?

I have a rooted H830 that is on AT&T's network (AT&T SIM). With the exception of wifi calling, everything else works (4G-LTE, voice, SMS, MMS). My H830 seems to still be talking to T-Mobile's servers, as they rightfully reject my AT&T SIM (ER05).
Has anyone compared the stock T-Mobile ROM to the stock AT&T ROM to try to identify where the wifi calling settings are stored?

EE branded mediapad m5 10.8 CMR-AL09 (LTE) voice calling is disabled

Hello!
I've got EE branded mediapad m5 10.8 CMR-AL09 LTE version, but it has phone calls making functionality disabled by EE, I guess.
I can use EE sim card to browse the internet, but I can't make phone calls
Does anyone know a way to enable voice calling? Maybe there is a secret menu or something?
If I installed unbranded firmware would it enable making phone calls?
I unlocked bootloader and rooted it, its a great tablet, if only I could make phone calls as well!

The voice calling is disabled by the provider. In the settings of the phone app is the option to enable it but only the provider has the password. You can ask them to give you the password, mine didn't wanted to give me his.
Nö other way then the provider password.

Thank you very much for the reply
:crying: Thats very sad, I was hopping that there is a way
But what will happen if I install unbranded firmware? Voice calling still not going to work?
Nope because it's locked on the SIM card. The installed firmware has nothing to do with it. Sorry mate, I already talked to mine and they won't unlock it.

The tablet doesnt support phone calls. LTE is just for internet connectivty. You have to use apps like Skype to make phone calls.
