Nord N10 random restarts issue - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Questions & Answers

Good day XDA,
Please forgive me if I posted in the wrong thread but I need help with my device. I acquired the phone 3 days ago and I'm having issues with it.
Main problem would be is when I leave to the phone to rest or not use it for a few minutes (like 30mins or so) the phone doesn't respond when I touch the fingerprint sensor. When I open it, it keeps saying that I need to enter my pin because it restarted. It's a bit of a nuisance really. Not sure if it's a software or hardware problem but the device is brand new.
Also I'm using the latest Global build 10.5.9. Thanks for anyone that can help!

Thanks! Will try it. But even if the pocket mode is turned on, it shouldn't restart the phone.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S II Wont Turn On - Please Help

Hi
Today I rebooted my Samsung Galaxy S 2 and for some reason it is not working anymore.
No idea why this has happened
I tried everything Recovery Mode - Cant get into
Download Mode I cant get into
Tried removing the battery then putting it back in still nothing at all
On the back I can feel the phone is getting warm but nothing on the screen
It was working fine yesterday and I havent done anything to the phone yesterday
Please help if you know anything?
Thanks
Sounds like a hardware fail. I hate to say it but it sounds like returning it is the option.

Did you have any update fails recently? Update fails were the reason some Galaxy S phones would not turn on.
Hi
Thanks for the reply
No.
It has the latest software so there wasn't a need for update
It was working fine for the first hour this morning and then I rebooted my phone because it froze but now won't turn on at all.
Should of backed up my data!
The device gets warm but nothing on the screen tried everything that is available on this forum.
Do I have to pay for this if it's faulty I only had it about a month now I think?
When plugged in on the usb charger, if you toggle the volume rocker will the display turn on and show the battery level?

- There is nothing, no battery indication, everything is black
Any solution yet?
I ordered a JIG, however I don't know if it helps in case the bootloader is dead

First I'll try a JIG - if it arrives on time... (desperately need the phone in 5 days)
fjosef871: have you tried a JIG to get into download mode?

GT-I9000 freezes when trying to call

Hi,
I have a really strange problem, that I was unable to find among other people.
So, this is how it started:
I had some old official Froyo firmware with Voodoo lagfix and Voodoo Sound on it. One day I've noticed that it now takes like 5-10 seconds after you press a power button for screen to turn on. It started to annoy me and I decided to update to latest official firmware. After I did, the problem I mentioned disappeared. But somehow now I've got much bigger problem...
Anytime when i'm trying to make or accept a call phone freezes. Black screen and battery icon is all that is visible. However, call itself proceed and you can talk, but the only way to finish it is to remove battery (3G calls still works fine, btw)
I've tried all possible firmwares from oldest ones to ICS... tried all cleanup options from recover menu, stll nothing's changed.
I'll be very grateful if you guys can suggest me anything.
Thanks
Just a thought but make sure bluetooth is off, see if that helps
Read it on XDA a while ago.
Hope this helps

yep, it was water. not that I dropped it in there or something, but guys from service center told me that there was corroded track on circuit board. that's why proximity sensor wasn't working, so phone use to freeze each time OS tried to initialize the sensor

Galaxy S2 Power Button Issue

So I searched the forum for a bit and saw some people have similar issues but not the exact issue that I have. For some reason, my phone's power button only turns on the phone. After the phone is on, it doesn't work anymore. (i.e. will not put the phone into the lock state nor wake up the phone) The only way for me to wake up the phone is to plug it into the charger which will activate the lock screen.
Some additional information:
I am currently running Stock 4.0.3 ICS unrooted.
I have tried a factory reset on the phone.
I have also tried the *2767*3855# factory format code which is supposed to reinstall the phone firmware.
I was using the Go Launcher/Go Locker app as my default home screen and lock screen but this is still happening even after a factory reset back to TouchWiz.
This problem occurred after turning my phone back on this morning after it died due to running out of battery.
If anyone knows what I should do or can point me in the right direction, I would be grateful.

Boo, that sucks. Do you think going through AT&T or Samsung would be better? I guess its between a refurbished phone vs not having one for 2 or so weeks.

I have had a similar problem on a Nokia phone. What I did was switched it off, charged it(from a company charger) , kept it off for some time with battery removed and later turned it on, and presto everything normal.
I don't know what could have caused it or your problem, but if you could give more info like whether you did something like installing an app or something we could recommend things like a factory reset from the recovery menu, or a cache/dalvik wipe and a reboot (which I would recommend to make sure it ain't software related)
Using GT - I9100
I thank those who give helpful comments
I expect the same from others.
idk

Remove the battery and switch it on after a couple of hours, and test whether your battery is working fine with an other phone.
After which if the problem still persist :
Try to turn it on in recovery or download mode.... If it again persist its time to send it for repair. If you can access download mode flash a rom and it might correct the problem.

I had a very similar with my Motorola Gleam which I solved by reinstalling the Motorola drivers, why don't you try that.

Help. My phone is stuck in a boot loop

So I was charging my phone, and it restarted itself and now it's stuck in a bootloop!
I can't access download mode or recovery, it keeps restarting before I have the opportunity to press any buttons (hardware or on screen) and removing the battery does nothing either, as soon as I put the battery back in, the phone resets without me even pushing the power button
I'm using Temasek CM11 v8 with the "201113-1248-cm11-i9300-r3p2-linux30101-BOEFFLA-temasek" kernel
Is it recoverable?
I've managed to get it into both Recover and Download mode briefly, but both times the phone restarted within a few seconds back to the bootloop
Sounds like the power button is shorted out, fairly cheap repair if so.

Thanks for the reply. What makes you think that it's the power button shorting?
Holding power button for 5 seconds acts as a hard reset, everywhere.
That's a good starting point actually. There's no reason for download mode to reboot automatically. If it loaded then it waits for the events. Either it works until you do anything with a PC, or doesn't work at all.
hi
try using a universal battery charger and then try again

Ah Well I suppose that makes it pretty conclusive. 2 hours later and it's still bootlooping... I'd take it apart but I don't really know what i'm looking for and I suspect if it's shorting, something will need replacing or soldering etc. Thanks very much

The issue of having it shortly resetting once reinstalled the battery sounds to me like a hardware failure, most probably hard resetting all the time.
A hardware repair should help fix this.

It's funny you say that, after hours and hours of trying to get my phone to work, somehow through more luck than judgement I managed to get it into recovery and flash WanamLite 7.2 (I figured it was the next best thing to stock, as I couldn't access download mode) and well... since then, touch wood my phone hasn't restarted itself even once... now granted in that time i've only touched the power button once, to turn on the device, but it seems like progress to me
So my question is, is it possible that I could of had a bad flash or something? It seems too coincidental to me, and I don't actually think the different ROMs have anything to do with the problem (that is still lingering beneath I suspect), but the optimist in me REALLY wants it to be fixed haha
EDIT: Oh and thank you tweetatoo for your reply

Possible its the well known multipleromflashed problem .

Interesting, thanks. It's just a bit confusing, it seems plausible because I flashed the ROM earlier in the day but at the same time, im not sure how much control the new ROM would have over the phone entering Download Mode... Mind boggling.
I'll keep an eye on it for a bit... and im still too scared to use the power button haha
Thanks very much
Download mode is entirely separate to the rom, I still think your power button shorted out (stuck down) as it's been reported many times before. If you have warranty then now would be the time to triangle away and return to stock for a while, just in case.
