With adb sideboard? It stuck on "starting adb sideboard" with same errors.
Try also with different recovery (Orange Fox) but nothing.

No recovery has sideload working yet. It is one of the indicated bugs for all recoveries. Ensure you read everything in the post before doing your own things not indicated in the guide. Happy bricking if you choose to ignore the written instructions

Start by flashing the stock MIUI rom, Android 10 to be specific. After booting the stock rom, reboot into recovery, flash custom Rom, format data, and then reboot
Use OrangeFox recovery

[Q] HOX+ International STUCK after Cm10.1 by Lloir

Hi All!
I have an HTC One X+, International. I have decided to try and "play" with it and so I have Unlocked and Rooted and then tried Installing a Custom Rom, based on those instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213910
Unlock and Root went well, and so installing TWRP (its present).
Then I got here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2067325
After trying to install the ROM (first image then zip - followed the instructions), the device is booting with the CM logo spinning, but then it gives out an "Unfortunately, NFC Service has stopped " error...
Please help!
I tried to go back to the original restore via TWRP - no luck. The HTC screen appears and then stuck in it.

Try and flash another ROM & Image. It appears the ROM might not have been downloaded properly.
BTW what happened after it gave the NFC error? Did you complete the rest of the process and simply restarted the device?
flash the CORRECT kernel! read the op!!!!!!! why do you people not read?! seriously!
full wipe the rom before flashing CM on top of whatever you had before!
the rom works correct! the problem is you
Cant flash another rom

I cant get a new rom to the device - the computer stopped recognizing it and I have no idea how to get a file on it (maybe somehow via the terminal/SDK.bat?).
After it gives the NFC error, there is an "OK' button. I hit it a few times and nothing happens. Then the screen goes off and I cant turn it back on, unless I use the power button/volume down...
I did though tried a different image... same result.

I am assuming you have latest ADB tools installed in your system.
You can use ADB sideload to copy ROM in the phone
When you are pressing the powerbutton + vol down - I hope you are getting to boot loader?

Hi Lloir!
I much appreciate the personnel response and the time you took to reply to me.
Before I had the original HOX+ rom+sense and I believe I DID a full wipe
I flashed the kernel from your post. I believe that my lack of knowledge lead me to download the wrong one (?) boot-BLADE-42-201305062233
Would you be so kind and please guide me to the correct steps? I have spent several hours allready trying to fix this issue.
Once again, your (and everyone else`s) help is MUCH appreciated!

sorry for my ranty response: anyway
the kernel you need is boot-BLADE-CM10.1-whateverdatehere
not the 42 kernels, those are for AOSP\PA\AOKP
soon this won't be an issue

This was FAST answer!
I see my mistake (reading comprehension) :
CM10 - for 4.1 based roms e.g. CM10 and AOKP 4.1.2
CM10.1 - ONLY for CM10.1
42 - 4.2 based roms e.g. AOKP 4.2.1 and AOSP 4.2.1
I thought that your ROM is based on the 4.2 (?)
Downloading the Kernel now.
By the way, when and how do I add the gapps?
flash kernel
flash rom
after rom flash the gapps

Thank you. I already flashed kernel and rom. Phone booted up and seem to work. A few issues:
1) I did not put the gapps zip on the phone before the process.
2) Though the phone appears as a drive in Windows, I can not copy any file to it.
3) Camera says NO SD Card and exits....
Thank you for your help!

Even if you install gapps after one full reboot - it won't be a problem... Actually - it's whenver you feel like

Thank you! What do I do AFTER I get the gapps.zip to the phone? what do I do with the TWRP?
Is this what I should do to get the zip to the phone:
Set the device into ADB sideload mode. In TWRP you do this by going to Advanced then ADB Sideload.
From the command line, type adb sideload /path/to/rom.zip

Did you create the '0' folder before flashing the ROM?
If not - would suggest you to load some other ROM...

Install cwm custom recovery from here:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057511
This is only a custom recovery, it will not fix your phone, it's a step towards fixing it.
What version of Android were you using? Asking because to tell you which rom to flash I will need to know which rom you had previously.

Installed wrong TWRP

Hey guys, i have an strage problem. So, for mistake i've flashed wrong TWRP file in odin. That TWRP was for Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. After that all, I went to the recovery mode and I was getting an "no command" error. Then when I wanted to flash the proper file, I was always getting stuck when the NAND Write Start shows up. Is there any way to solve that problem?
EDIT: I know about vol up method, but i just want to install TWRP soft, ADB isn't working for me)
Flash stock recovery then try flashing the right version again, see if that does the trick.

it is a vendor file - your phone needs that -
If this doesn;t work for you - y ou can alwasy go to sammobile and download the stock rom for your device and country - the flash that in ODIN and start over. It is very difficult to brick a Samsung Phone - you should be able to fix this - so don't panic - take a deep breath and good luck.
