Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/* (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.
Known Issues
None!

How do we flash the rest of the zips without twrp? Can someone walk me through that?

There is only one zip. Follow the directions in the OP exactly and it will work. I was able to install it.

I know there's one, but as for a zip like Gapps, do i flash it the same way I'd flash the rom zip?
I'm asking cuz i never tried flashing this stuff outside of twrp before

See OP instruction. Gapps is an addon. You flash it the same way but have to reboot back into recovery after adb sideloading the ROM.

Yes. The first steps install Lineage Recovery, then you can adb sideload whatever zip

Ok, thanks. I will give it a try soon
But may i ask if you have plans on being an official maintainer?

Yes, this will become official once we're ready to ship LineageOS 18

I know you recommended the Mindthegapps in the P5 thread but I'm getting a YouTube vanced won't run without Google Play services when I install the ROM with that. Any recommended gapps beside that? I tried the test opengapps 11 stock and it didn't install them.
Regular youtube does work though.
Going to vanced support group, others are having a similar issue and I'm only asking you because this is their reply:
6. YouTube won't run without Google Play services, which are not unsupported by your device:
(Fix- Use Non-Root or switch to a better ROM/Gapps as it's your Gapps issue. It's not vanced side issue.)

Yes, nikapps did not install. I was recommended to not use Nikapps by another lineage dev.

I've heard since Android 10 that opengapps packages bigger than micro has one problem or another. And on source forge, the pico and nano packages are the ones most installed cuz they are the ones that seems to work. So don't flash the stock; flash one of the two smaller ones and see if that helps

Btw @aleasto, when Google rolls out the Standalone 5G support to bramble, how will you incorporate that into the rom?

So .. any way to load Gapps into this Image ?
nikapps meant it is not suited for bramble
opengapps has always not enough space left (does not matter if mini, micro or pico)
weebgapps - also no luck atm (via sideload or magisk)
The Image itself runs good so far ... thx !

We rely on google to have it work with AOSP. I don't think it should be an issue though?

I tried Nano, Pico and Micro from here:
OpenGApps - Browse /arm64/test/20210110 at SourceForge.net
OpenGApps daily releases
sourceforge.net
and this nano:
OpenGApps - Browse /arm64/test/20201116 at SourceForge.net
OpenGApps daily releases
sourceforge.net
It does install. Problem is with opengapps. Once you get to select Wifi Network, you put your password for the SSID and it crashes. Doesn't let you restore backup or login to Google account.
Scholeggo might not be rebooting to recovery after ROM install.

Important Info
To flash this rom you need TWRP 3.2.0-0 or newer. https://twrp.me/lg/lgnexus5x.html
Make sure you have the radio & bootloader img's installed from the stock oreo 8.1 OPM7.181205.001 Dec 2018 factory image.
They can be extracted from the factory image on google's site here. Or you can use the ones linked below that I already extracted:
radio & bootloader img's: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=286834
Those img's can be flashed with fastboot command.
Download Links
rom: https://download.lineageos.org/bullhead
Note: LineageOS servers no longer make 15.1 builds for any devices. You can use my unofficial builds here. My older builds are here.
Note#2: if you want to switch from an official build to my unofficial builds, follow instructions here.
google apps (optional): https://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html (Use arm64 / 8.1)
root su addon (optional): https://download.lineageos.org/extras Note: Use arm64 15.1 zip. After installing the su addon, you can enable root in developer options.
Instructions
If updating from old unofficial to newer unofficial, follow the steps below:
1. if you don't already have them installed, flash the newest radio and bootloader img's linked above.
2. boot into twrp and flash the rom zip.
Reboot & enjoy.
NOTE: if you previously flashed gapps and/or the su addon, there's no need to flash them again. They will be automatically re-installed during rom zip installation.
NOTE2: if you want to switch from an official build to my unofficial builds, follow instructions here.
If coming from a different rom:
1. if you don't already have them installed, flash the newest radio & bootloader img's linked above. also make sure you have the newest twrp, linked above.
2. boot into twrp and wipe system & data & cache.
3. flash rom & gapps & su addon zips (gapps & su zips are optional).
Reboot & enjoy.
Weather Provider Addon (Optional)
For those that like the lineage cLock widget, here's the OpenWeather apk you need to get weather info.
https://download.lineageos.org/extras
Grab the one for version 16.0. It also works with 15.1.
Note: You'll need an api key from OpenWeather.

As long as there is no server set up etc most likely not. Expect OTA to only work with official releases
Is Substratum theming supported?
Thanks, works perfectly
BUT for everyone, who is considering to switch from LineageOS 14.1 you should know, that a lot of the beloved Lineage specific stuff is not yet (Dec, 25th) implemented, for instance:
- no Privacy Guard yet
- no deactivating of mobile data and/or Wi-Fi for certain apps yet possible
- no long press when off to activate the torch light
- ....
thanks for this christmas present @razorloves, updated without any problems! some minor issues: advanced restart menu is not working and setting crashes. show arrow keys while typing option is available, but also not working with ASOP keyboard (have not tried any other yet)!

By the way, I used to flash Stereo speakers and EIS mods (on the stock). Can I use them here as well?
I installed it successfully and it works really well. I only don't see the Update section. I also miss the option Extra small in the Display size option.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. If you use twrp it will ask if you want to install the twrp app. Make sure you tap "DO NOT INSTALL".
2. If you care about your stuff, make a backup in TWRP first, just in case. Transfer it to a pc, along with all your stuff in internal storage.
3. The newest vendor, radio, & bootloader img's are included in the rom zip, so no need to worry about flashing those manually.
4. Lineage comes with adb root that you can enable in developer options, but if you want root for apps, flash magisk in recovery (after renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip). Just don't flash it during initial lineage install, as it's known to cause bootloop if you do.

An easy fix, for anyone with the gmail issue, you just have to go to settings->apps->gmail->permissions, and allow permissions to contacts and calendar.
EDIT: I'll try to figure out the issue of why gmail is not being granting permissions automatically, like it should.
But in the meantime, i'll just include gmail in my builds. That way it has that right permissions and just works like it should. If you don't want the app, you can just go to settings and disable it.
EDIT#2: New builds are available in first post. One notable feature that was added is, network traffic monitor in statusbar. :good:
Note: I don't have a sailfish so that build is untested, but it should work fine. Please someone give it a try and let us know if it's ok. Confirmed, it's working good on sailfish too.

so, it seems as if there are no real game-breaking issues out of the gate?? I'm looking forward to trying this later but was holding off for some more feedback, so far it seems to be pretty positive... one (stupid) question... After flashing this can you easily just flash back to a PIE rom if need be, or once you go Android 10 you can't go back?
yes you can

yep, i did it the other day. went from lineage 17 to 16, with just a data wipe. no issues.
So device personalization services app kept crashing so I uninstalled it
also trying to enable black theme in settings makes settings app crash
Also had the Gmail permission bug thanks for posting the fix ?
Also why was twrp overwritten by stock Google recovery ?
I didn't see a warning about that anywhere in op
Note I did a clean install wiped all partitions but internal storage in twrp 3.3.0.0 before flashing rom and then magisk zip

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github Repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
What's working:
Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
WiFi
Bluetooth
NFC
GPS (Plain Device Mode Works)
Fingerprint
Camera
HWC
What's not working:
Fingerprint at first setup bugs the setup wizard, so skip it.
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.
Possible Problems:
Please keep this in mind that Android 10 is still a quite new release so it may contain major/non-major bugs.
Problem: Problems with modem like dropping/slow/slowly connecting data connections, missed calls/SMS
Solution: Try to update your device's baseband/modem to the latest available version. If there are still problems, report this bug to the developers.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build (and optionally gapps).
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs)
Flash the latest build (and gapps)
Reboot
Downloads:

Reporting Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

I don't see any connection here?
The last official LOS for the S6 was 14.1, because the maintainer quit. Enes is doing great works since then and keeps the devices alive...

I don't see any connection here?
The last official LOS for the S6 was 14.1, because the maintainer quit. Enes is doing great works since then and keeps the devices alive...

Ofc. he is doing a great job, no doubt. But if los16 didn't get official status, i don't think los17 will ever get it. That's what i meant

Unbelivable, I've been using EnzenSun Roms for a couple of months now and tend to find your Rom is the closest to getting HW Rendering to work in Real Time for our S6 Series. And now OS 10.0! Spectacular Work!!!
Installed
Did a clean wipe and installed, everything seem to be working, battery was 95% after set up, and after 4 hours iam 65%(Heavy installing of apps and data). No lag any sort of, will give a full review in a week. Seems to be good, Thank you so much developer...

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS), we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q-R with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device-specific repositories.
If there are any bugs we will sort them out if it concerns our codebase. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.

We recommend MindTheGapps as it has been thoroughly tested and it works well with the ROM, some other minimal GApps packages still have issues, however feel free to try other GApps if you want to, just try MindTheGapps if you have any GApps related issues

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but the discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Does this ROM include GApps or do I have to flash them separately?
A. No, we do not include prebuilt GApps, because of possible licensing issues with Google Software and because some users do not want GApps preinstalled as they want to use alternative services like MicroG or just prefer flashing a GApps "flavor" of their liking.
Q. Does this ROM use the camera or gallery app from stock?
A. It depends on the device. In most cases these apps include proprietary libs/code and cannot be included in the device trees on Github or we risk having the ROM banned from Github. In this case, we might try to make them installable (separate from the ROM zip), or we might provide a version of these apps with the ROM that doesn't include any proprietary libs. It's also sometimes the case that these apps are simply not included because we didn't feel the need to do so for the device in question.
Q. Does this ROM have Extended/Scrolling screenshot?
A. No, extended screenshot was implemented using an app extracted and modified from manufacturer firmware/system images and is proprietary as well. It led to the closing of many ROM's sources on GitHub.
Q. Does this ROM have FaceUnlock?
A. No, FaceUnlock was also an app extracted and modified from some manufacturers. Even Google removed the Trusted Face (FaceUnlock) feature for security reasons on Android 9.0/10.x. Adding the modified feature did the same to ROM sources as described above.
Q. Can you add (insert favorite weather provider)?
A. No, we cannot add more weather providers as the implementations change and we (the ROM) now have to pay for most services, and that is not cheap, so we decided to use the best free service that we could find, the only way to add your own is for users to apply for their own API key to use their preferred service.
Q. Does this ROM have private official builds with the above proprietary libs included?
A. No, we believe in open source software, this way users know what's in the build and can replicate it themselves, all official builds are built on our build servers using the public sources from github and no one can (or would) add their own private sources to the build.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behavior on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache, and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution, and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to perform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to lose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to lose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterward.
Using the ROM:
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. Do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section on the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android R. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM zip file.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM zip file.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them, OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 21.4 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices, you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.

when you start doing non-standard things with your phone, people aren't going to be able to help you troubleshoot problems as well. The more you deviate, the less likely people will be willing to help you. That's to be expected. It's the reason I keep things pretty vanilla (LOS + opengapps pico)...

NpJ, do you have recommend vendor firmware updates from official moto builds similar to this guide for OnePlus?

Nope, newest for your device. That's about it.
OK but should we grab the latest MOTO stock ROM, and copy the same partitions over as outlined in the 6T guide? If we do not do that, will it make latest LOS 19 buggy? Out of curiosity, what does *your* vendor patch level date say?

nope - Just as long as you're on latest Android version - say lake, you should be on android 10, doesn't matter which sub version.
Vendor SPL is dependent on lineage, not stock - we build vendor - the 6T didn't used to - so they had to have users flash vendor themselves.
Oh interesting. Thanks for that clarification.
I looked for version 19.1 on the official website and didn't find anything to download. A few hours ago it was available. What happened?

There is a new version built this night ( 20220427) now online. This worked now for me and even the first boot was really fast (~2 min). https://download.lineageos.org/lake
Had issues the whole night with the 20220426 build. I was always in a boot loop after sideloading the 26 version.
Later, I tried to go to Stock Rom first with the Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistance (to my XT1965-3 (EU) ).
Sideloaded Recovery and Lineage 19.1 again -> bootloop.
Went to bed late, saw a new version right after getting up -> works as expected
First, Thank you @npjohnson for your work!
Do you have a personal donation link?
Version 27 hasn't bootloop
Do you have any problems installing gapps? I can't add google account after installation. i get application error. Wipe doesnt change anything
After installing 27.04 LOS, system updates info shows it is version 26. I can update to 27 but after reboot nothing happens and it still shows 26 with the option to install 27 again.
Can TWRP be used to flash this? If yes, any special version of TWRP needed?
I boot to TWRP using fastboot and not installing it on the phone.

Probably but I'd just use lineage recovery.
I installed it with the latest TWRP. It bootlooped with flamegapps but installed successfully with mindthegapps.
I install twrp on the system and it has a handy choice to reflash itself after installing the rom. You then must reboot to twrp to add the gapps zip or it will not work.
For anyone else interested I also installed magisk and it works perfectly but be aware of @npjohnson's point re loss of support.

Thank you for your answer. Did you do a fresh install/wipe the data partition?
I have currently installed Lineageos 18.1 + Open Gapps for Android 11 (nano). Can I do a dirty flash/install with Lineageos 19 and MindTheGapps?
Which version of Magisk do you use? And which version of TRWP?

I did a format data AND wipe with twrp-3.6.1. Make sure you follow the install instructions on twrp for motorola g7+. You need the img file and the zip.
I don't use open gapps- too mush bloat - but I got a bootloop with flamegapps so I followed npj's advice and used mindthegapps.
I didn't try a dirty flash so I don't know but I would go for the full wipe.
Good luck but if you do it properly you shouldn't need it.
