I'm really not sure what you guys are talking about. I'm hoping to root this phone when steps are out. On my phone there is "OEM unlocking" and I set it on, but I'm guessing that's not what you guys are talking about

Triple-Color Company is the name I gave to the licensee of Nokia Smartphones. Following pic gives you idea about what the Triple-Color Company is.
The proof of concept can be found on YouTube, with keywords "Nokia 8.3 bootloader".

I haven't seen a way to change the status from "bootloader unlock allowed: NO" to YES, but in a forum I read that some guys managed to reach an agreement with sony. If we send the simlock unlock codes they will allow the bootloader unlock.

After reading a bunch of Googlish I don't think they got any response yet. I don't think emailing Sony will get your bootloader unlocked but you never know.

Looks like the only requirement now is that you have to bring the device to a sony service center
We are dealing with Sony to get our handsets fully unlocked, but what i am most afraid of is if employees will be aware of this. I hope so!

you can make the bootloader unlock allowed: yes by ezSEMC tool. I made it yesterday unlocking my acro HD for 45$. the phone became fully unlocked and bootloader changed to rootable, after that i've unlocked bootloader by official method.

I've heard rumours the s1 server is offline for good aswell. Missed it by about two days. Gutted. I've been checking daily for about 3 weeks.
Can't believe I had so much fun with my x10 and cm roms, but now I'm forced to stop.

Most Chinese phonemakers nowadays (Xiaomi, ZTE, Nubia Huawei etc) have prevented bootloader from being unlocked on their devices. Is this true for Oppo / Realme too?

and as we found out, it was a lie. It wasnt unlocked out of the box and we don't even have fastboot access.

This phone was launched on 29th April about only 2 weeks ago. Its only available in India and Indonesia for now. Realme is launching this in Malaysia, France and more countries soon. As the availability widens, development here will too. Give it few weeks.

Bcoz oppo/realme don't use the conventional fastboot mode. The only way to access it is via realme testpoint/bootloader unlock tool

Has anyone tried unlocking their bootloader using the realme deep testing apk? Does this void your warranty, since imei is transmitted to realme/Oppo? Anyone tried it yet? Any alternate exploits available....it seems like ages since I unlocked my Oppo Find 7S.

Is your model "rmx2155", otherwise known as the "Global Version"? If so: We cannot unlock the bootloader - at least, not yet. We're likely going to have to wait for a vulnerability of some sort.

No problem. Try looking around online. I'm asking around on forums to see if we can't just use ADB to unlock the bootloader, because I don't really see why one device with the same hardware and software (excluding bands) can be unlocked, but not the RMX2155. I'll let you know if I find any answers, or maybe I'll make a guide or something on XDA if unlocking the bootloader can be done. Best of luck to you.

This seems quite a shady tactic from you to direct people to your site so they have to pay 12 bucks so they can download those files, which as I understand breaks rule 11 and I'll go as far as question that those files are even real.
Yesterday I sent a message at 10:55 AM to you, asking for the boot.img and preloader.img and they were uploaded at your website at 11:06:11 AM, at 11:57 AM you repliand ed me to say you doesn't have the file anymore and to get it from your website.

I didn't. The person above mentioned a professional tool but I don't know which one.
I read the strings on the rom that I posted previously but I didn't find a way to unlock it without using a token

No! There is no root, bootloader unlock for United States Snapdragon. Np oem unlock toggle..can't downgrade firmware if bootloader increases.

100% can't, all Snapdragon devices are bootloader locked.

Can I install 906U1 over 906U though? If I don't need root or something like that, just wanna get rid of the bloatware.
Did that with my s10+ a while ago.
To answer my own question, just did.
Used bifrost to download an appropriate U1 unlocked firmware and a patched odin to install it.
