Upgrade Xiaomi mi note 10 lite - Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello..
I have a query to the community since I am new to the xiaomi world.
More than a week ago I received the Android 11 update, I installed it, but the battery drains me too much and to tell the truth I occupy the phone a lot so I would like to go back to an earlier version of Android or Miui, however, investigating A bit about the process, I found an article on Anti rollback and that is the reason that brings me here.
I did the fastboot getvar anti verification process and the result was Anti: 2.
Before this, I had tried to install the global version of miui 11.0.8 via fastboot, but the process triggered these anti-rollback error lines.
My question is this; Can I downgrade the Xiaomi mi note 10 lite as other users can with other models or can I not perform the degradation due to the risk of deep blocking?
If someone has gone back to an earlier version I would ask for a guide and if not, I would appreciate any guidance.
Cheers

Good evening ..
For all those interested in downloading the official ROM version of the Xiaomi mi note 10 Lite, I have news for you, at least for those who want and have not tried.
I tried the method of saving the MiFlash folder on Disk C, in the same way I did with the global ROM of miui 11.0.8 fastboot, to the latter I changed the name of the folder to a shorter one (example Miui11.0.8), then boot in fastboot mode and run my flash running the ROM (Miui11.0.8) and the result obtained is that, I'm back on Android 10 with miui 11.0.8.
I share this information to give security to all those who had doubts about this and did not dare to try.
This data I extracted from various forums and pointed to it to give credit to all those who previously published it.
Remember that the bootloader must be unlocked.
Regards.

Use miflash to flash dev china and unlock it, after unlocked bootloader use fastboot flash method to combe back whatever rom you want
you can't unlock on Global ROM although the official guide says yes.
I tried it hundreds of times, changing this, changing that, and all failed
Just flash to China Dev ROM to unlock
I just tried 1 times and instant success
I tried with china developer rom 6.4.14 still same problem...

Did you tried to wipe cache from device before procceding to unlock?Did you used multiple accounts on this device?Be sure that you use the same account both device and on browser
I reset the mobile and tried only one account i have..
Have you logged in your miui account in the phone? Because the same thing happened to me, the phone needs to be logged in to your miui account, not only the computer program, but the phone also.
S i logged in and even downloaded one theme..
some people say it got solved by using the Redmi usb cable you got in your box. or using an england VPN.
This is a frustrating issue, I guess lot of people are facing this. I have got the permission few days back but am facing the same issue as OP. I have tried everything mentioned on this forum, MIUI forum and what not. I am currently on China Dev ROM, unfortunately it still does not work. One last thing which might be the actual issue is that even after getting permission from Xiaomi, it takes a few more days to sync this to their servers. I have read many people saying they gave up but when they tried after 5-6 days, it worked. So I am hoping it will work for me too in the next 5-6 days
I am too fed up of unlocking bootloader, i got the permision on starting of april still i cant unlock,.. now i am back global stable rom will try in few days.
On PC try this steps:
1.disable driver signature enforcement permanently
2.disable user account control
3.disable smart screen protection
4.disable any security solution like AV Suite,Firewall, even WIndows inbuilt firewall
5.check if your Windows Management Instrumentation service running
6.right click on MiUNLOCK exe and run as administrator
This is perhaps the most disturbing and irritating thing to have happened to me in my experience of rooting and owing Android smartphones. The process which seems simple is perhaps the most complicated and uncalled for. I have used phones form "Novice manufactures" to Super manufactures like Karbonn, Micromax, Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG, OnePlus. They all have been tricky but yet did the job as promised. Easiest was unlocking my Oneplus2, did it the very day i got my phone. HTC and Sony were tricky and a little complicated but once the process started, they were executed to perfection. I do not understand why Xioami had to screw up this big time. I got the permission but have tried everything possible; however, just not successful. Will wait for a while and get back to unlocking in a weeks time
i did got the permission yesterday tried on global stable rom its not happening will be flashing china stable rom and then moving to developer version via updater app, just wanted to confirm should i follow this guide http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
or is there any other way to go
i have 2 freakin accounts with unlock permissions tried each and every damn step out there on xda and miui forums tried 2 different computers still it says info on the device is different than the current account. god knows what on earth will unlock the bootloader
sorry to revive this old thread, but did you try after 5-6 days and did it actually work to unlock the bootloader with the official way?
This is the most irritating thing with Xiaomi. I've tried every guide and thread on MIUI forums but to no avail. Those idiots at MIUI forums are worthless. They only know to spam forums with "thank you" and "nice" instead of making productive discussion. Many people are facing the same problem with BL unlock and the administrators must be probably aware of the issue. What are they doing for so long? They should have released a new version of mi unlock tool already with the fix or whatever is the issue with their servers, I don't know. I just need to unlock my bootloader officially.
Have you guys checked if "fastboot" command works while in the fastbood mode? Try "fastbood devices" first, does it display the attached device successfully?

Xiaomi different versions LOL + "current account is not bound to this device!' error

Xiaomi different versions LOL + "current account is not bound to this device!' error
I finally found out there are looooooooooads of Redmi types, unbelievable!
Maybe Xiaomi should minimize their offer, I thought I had a Redmi Note 3, but I finally found out it's a
Xiaomi Redmi 3 IDO (3A) Snapdragon LOL
I ordered one for my daughter, and now I see it's actually a Redmi Note 3 (bit more expensive and different at the back).
==> So i'm busy checking out how to flash, I got the official sms to unlock the locked bootloader and the first part goes to 100%, but theb I have another error : "Current account is not bound to this device!"
I'll guess some more errors will follow seen this long & difficult process
I dowloaded the latest miui_MI6Global_7.8.10_024aaf1afd_7.1 of this week, but now I need to get rid of that error & locked bootloader.
Do I need to flash an old beta rom first or something to get rid if this error message ?
Nice to see a fellow Belgian here
I am a bit confused. You are trying to flash your Redmi 3 (ido)?
Because the ROM you say you've downloaded is one for Xiaomi Mi 6...
Could you provide some information (screenshot of your 'about phone' with the current installed MIUI ROM etc?)
When I unlocked my ido's bootloader last year, I flashed the Chinese developer ROM using MiFlash, coming from a fake vendor ROM via EDL mode. Then in China dev ROM I unlocked the bootloader using MiUnlock.
After that I flashed TWRP (flash lazyscript before booting into the system or change to custom ROM immediatly because dm-verity is a b****).
I believe in recent ROMs, EDL mode was blocked by Xiaomi.
About the error: make sure you log in to the unlock tool with the same account as you are logged in to on your phone (the account with unlock permission). Then go to "developer options - Mi Unlock status" and make sure your account has been bound to the device there.
USB-debugging should be enabled, as well as OEM-unlock.
I do not know when you received the unlock code, but it is possible you'll have to wait a week or so. A lot of people have found that it suddenly works after a few days of waiting.
If you cannot switch to a developer ROM due to locked EDL mode, you should be able to flash your ido with locked bootloader using xiaomitool. http://en.miui.com/thread-835254-1-1.html
With this tool you can switch between MIUI ROMs on a locked bootloader.
I don't see any reason on why you download Mi 6 (sagit) recovery ROM instead of Redmi 3 (or Redmi Note 3 if it's what you're talking about) one. For "Current account is not bound to this device" error, wait for at least a week after you bind your Mi account with your phone before unlocking.
Good luck.

Haha greetz to Belgium too Yes I was a long time since I checked the latest roms / Xiaomi phone versions
Now I have a rooted stable MIU9 V9.2.2.0 Laicnek and looking for the best battery saving Kernell, hope I can flash this simply with TWRP as everything is installed allready
What do I need to choose again in the options to flash a Kernell only ?
Otherwise the Lineos 15 with the latest Oreo (if there is an official version 15 already, as I see only a beta 2)

Bootloader Issue (India)

Hello,
Yesterday I purchased a Redmi Note 5 Indian Unit which is on MIUI 9.5 Global on 7.1.2 Nougat.
I wanted to flash lineage os for the phone as I truly hate MIUI skin. But unlocking a bootloader makes a big problem, when I tried to unlock the bootloader; It tells me to wait for 360 hours, I went through all the threads here, but none helped me, I tried the bypass method with 2 different accounts but that does not work as well, maybe because MI stated that users no longer need permission to unlock. Please help me to unlock my bootloader, I cannot live with a MIUI, and there is no point in using the phone because in 15 days I will have to format the device again after unlocking the bootloader, so please help me. I have Indian Unit of the phone, so if that is what makes the problem, please tell me.
Reply ASAP.
follow the thread NO ERROR 86006 in guides section. u just need a new account and 5 min of spare time.

I tried with two accounts that worked for me 2 weeks before. First account you bind and apply for bootloader unlocking. After that, make sure your device is identified in mi cloud web. Find my device option. And after you got 360 hours wait. Create a new account and login into it in phone. Go back to bootloader and now it will unlock. I hope this method will work now.

Help! Bootlooping after attempting OTA on rooted phone (simple)

Hi all, I've tried so many things that haven't worked.
Can someone please help me?
My phone is stuck in a bootloop and I need to at least access my data, but ideally use the phone again.
Here's the info - I've used numbers for easy reference.

1. I forgot you can't do OTA update on rooted phone.
I attempted to update MIUI 8.0.6.0 (Global) to the available MIUI 9.2.3.
2. Now phone is boot-looping
3. Most important thing is to avoid losing my apps and data
4. I'd like to either:
a) return the phone to how it was (8.0.6.0)
or
b) still update to MIUI 10 (10 because I read it could go up that far) or 9.2.3 (as offered via OTA)
5. Here is the root method I used (quite a while ago):

[GUIDE] Xiaomi Redmi 9 Pro EEA (joyeuse) [Global] FRP Bypass and Reset [Android 10] [Miui 12] [Android 11] [Miui 12.5] [Software Testpoint]

Hello Fellows,
I've got a Redmi 9 Pro for Linux purposes, but the phone came with FRP triggered and of course, I couldn't get access to the sellers
account. I spare you the details, because I am sure, every one knows a story like that.
I checked xda and the web about guides for quite some time, and actually found a lot of them, but none of them worked. At the end I could combine
some of these guides to actually make it happened. I've created a little screen recording to show all the steps that worked for my device.
Yes you can actually install and open almost every apk even with a triggered FRP. Almost means, you can even enable the developer options, but
they don't show anything for that user.
Initial situation:
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Pro EEA (joyeuse)
Bootloader Locked
triggered FRP Lock
find my device - OFF
No MI-Account
Software Variant 1:
Firmware: MIUI V12.0.2.0.QJZEUXM Stable Official Update for Redmi Note 9 Pro EEA (joyeuse)
Android 10 - Miui 12
Android Security Patch Date: 2021-01-21
Software Variant 2:
Firmware: MIUI V12.5.8.0.RJZEUXM Stable Official Update for Redmi Note 9 Pro EEA (joyeuse)
Android 11 - Miui 12.5
Android Security Patch Date: 2022-03-01
FRP Bypass start conditions:
Wifi is connected
The basic idea and steps:
Get into System Settings via the Help & Feedback from Gmail to disable and stop certain apps.
Only for this is the wifi needed, if you type delete, the right help topic will show up
2x Android Setup
Carrier Dafault App
Google Play Services (must be disabled at the very last)
enable the Accessibility Suite to re-enable Google Play Services at the right moment
Continue the actually process to setup the phone, the procedure will stuck at "Just a sec..." "Checking for updates..."
now try to re-enable the Google Play Services, once this is done, the FRP Bypass will take place the next step
One important note, after enabling Google Play Services, its Storage and Cache must be deleted!
This is one of the main reasons why it didn't worked for me the first 100 times i tried.
It does go through though, but right at the moment the setup is finished, the FRP Lock gets triggered and
we are back at the beginning.
Enabling the Google Play Services can be annoying, because the screen is flashing/changing so fast, that the touch
will not be accepted right away. But there is plenty of time to try until it hits.
Finish the setup process until you see the home screen
Execute the factory reset over the settings menu and the FRP is gone for good
Optional, you can enable oem unlock before you factory reset the phone
With oem unlock enabled, the phone can't get FRP Lock on.

Regarding Bootloader Unlock, which es mandatory to install Linux (Ubuntu Touch) on this phone.
I couldn't found any free way to either unlock the bootloader without Mi-Account, or reboot the phone into EDL.
They are some Apps I tried so far:
Xiaomi Sideload Tool and ROM2box from Romprovider.com
But they need MIUI Recovery 5.0, and I only have MIUI Recovery 3.0
And don't want to upgrade, because Ubuntu Touch need Android 10
Does anybody have more information about that exploit these Sideload Apps are using?
I don't get how you can read data from and adb sideload connection, where you just can upload zip files
for updates
EDL from the famous Bjoern Kerler "bkerler" (MTK-Client)
For this tool the phone must be in EDL Mode, which I can't get into it
Does anybody know a way how to do that without Test Point? I tried so many ways, but none worked.
I even compiled fastboot and adb from AOSP, but the "old" ways like reboot-edl don't work.
My last hope is a USB-C V2 Cable/Dongle from Team Hydra.
Updates will follow...
[Update 1: 2023-04-25]
The FRP Bypass Procedure also works on Android 11 MIUI 12.5
[Update 2: 2023-04-25]
I've built the EDL Cable/Dongle, but it didn't work. I've bought the official
Hydra EDL Cable V2, exact same result, it also didn't work. Hydra refuses to give me a straight answer to this issue, even as a customer. The shop I've bought it
from, asked Hydra as well, with the feedback, this could be a SPD issue.
But still, they refuse to tell me, which SPD I need to get it working. At this
time I was on SPD 2021-01-21, and they published the EDL Cable Pinouts in Dec. 2022 [Latest Security]. So this was a very false promise from Hydra or rather mobilerdx, not sure who's to blame here, perhaps myself.
[Update 3: 2023-04-25]
I've wrote an ADB and Fastboot Sniffer for Windows. Which worked
pretty well, and I was able to get the ADB commands from the Xiaomi Sideload Tool. So the Exploit is basically, that you can perform ADB PULL and ADB PUSH while your in SIDELOAD Mode, that's it. And that it uses a built-in command to gather the partition structure while you are in the
normal ADB Mode.
With that knowledge now, I've also wrote a Bash pendant from the Xiaomi Sideload Tool -> Xiaomi SideLoad Terminal Tool (xsltt). Which inherits all its functions plus a bit more user comfort.
With this tool, I was able to delete my xloader, and the device now boots
straight into EDL Mode. Which is great, you can call this a Software Testpoint.
But, there is always a but, it seems that there is still no proper firehose file out there, that bypasses this annoying EDL authentication. And no, I will not even try to bypass that myself, this is way over my head.
So I would very much appriciate it, if someone can point me to a working firehose file that bypasses the EDL authentication for the Redmi Note 9 Pro (joyeuse).
I am facing the same problem, can not find the right firehose tool.
And all the apps that claim they have proper firehose file are all paid service.
since you have hydra tool, did they work for the edl? since they said they have the right firehose file.

Haha, no they don't. They even recommended me the hydra dongle in their own telegram support channel. Now i have this dongle since a day, they say it is not supported in EDL Mode, only Sideload mode. And now i have to find someone who can fix the phone remotely with a auth service account. Isn't it great?

Thank you for your generous offer, I am not sure If I understand you right, plus I don't have the need
for charity. To be honest, I don't even have a clue, what to believe now. They all promise you honey
flowing in rivers, but can't really deliver.
They are tools called EMT and UAT Pro. Never heard about them before. But they claim they have
auth support for this model in EDL mode. UAT even offers a pure software solution for an affordable price.
If you are willing to fund your self, please try it out, and report back.

I won't be investing in those tools. Both EMT and UAT allow auth flashing however I know a tool called Xiaomi Pro tool which supports auth flashing and it works and the investment is pretty low so I can invest in that tool to help you out with auth flashing.
I cannot discuss any further as XDA does not allow that.

Yeah that's weird, I've read this a lot, never had any issues with XDA about that.
Anyways, I can't find any manufacture website to the Xiaomi Pro Tool, so I cannot compare.
I think 15 bucks for are 3 Months time period is much cheaper compared to the 110 I've paid
for this Hydra Dongle, which brings me zero yet. So please, write me a PM with a link to a shop.
Just a little Update.
Thank your @mvikrant97, Xiaomi Fire Tool did the trick. They don't unlock bootloader,
but flash firmware with EDL auth. And now my phone is back to life. Support was very good, in fact,
they were the only ones who responded at all. Very patience and polite as well. Plus, very affordable.
Once my phone is fully charged, battery was totally drained since it was in EDL Mode for weeks, I will see
what Hydra has to offer. Btw: They've banned me from their Support Channel, without any explanation.
I guess I asked the wrong questions, pitty.
