This is a fork of the mainline Linux kernel, meant to be used to run Linux distributions. It is as close as possible to the mainline tree, with only a device tree added for this device, and a few small patches.

USB-Ethernet Adapter Driver Compilation

I am having trouble compiling drivers for my phone. I am new to this and maybe I am doing something wrong. If anyone who is more experienced with driver compilation for Android can do it for me, I would really appreciate it. You just need to give me asix.ko file and I will install it.
Here are the links for kernel source and the driver source:

Arch Linux ARM running on the Mi Note 2:
Screenshots taken in Phosh. I've tried GNOME too and it works fairly well apart from some GPU glitches.
This is using this mainline kernel fork. Check that for information on what works and what doesn't.
It's in a very early stage at this point, so don't expect daily driving this soon.
Disk images for testing coming later.

lineageos unofficial build FAILED

I wanted to build a unofficial custom firmware for j2y18lte. Repo sync progressed normally, but when proceeding with source build/envsetup.sh, as shown in the picture, an error occurred and the build did not proceed.
How can I solve this?

Can I install a GSI rom to this phone?

since the soc brand is JLQ this device probably won't get any custom roms. kernel source code is not available either... but it's a treble enabled device, so... would a gsi rom work with this?
