Is there A Way to Bypass the Pin or Reset without loaimg Data? - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Questions & Answers

Locked out My Note 20 ....Dont know the pin or Google account

These phones are designed to be safe for your data, there is not, or at least I do not know of a way to bypass said security. Factory reset is the only way.

This is not a development thread and should have been posted in q&a section for future reference

[HELP] Any way to get rid of Google verification after a reset?

I have an s9+ ( TMobile ) and was looking if there is a way to get rid of the FRP (Google Account Verification) through a flaw of in the setup or just flashing it in Odin. Any help is appreciated.

This is not a flaw in the setup or using ODIN. This is an anti-theft measure that prevents the phone from being stolen (or used if lost) by someone. If this is what your seeing after resetting the phone or flashing it and your not the Google Account owner then your options are:
Get the person who had the phone last enter there Google Account details so you can Factory Data Reset the device. Afterwards you should be able to enter your Google Account information and then the FRP lock re-activates (which means your google account would be needed if it happens again).
Return the device (if you purchased it) because it may be lost and/or stolen.
Otherwise if you really are the person whose Google Account was used there are three options. The first two should work, the last is if the first two don't work:
After updating the phone simply sign into the google account using the account name and password. Afterwards just factory data reset the phone from within the settings menu (SETTINGS > GENERAL MANAGEMENT > RESET > FACTORY DATA RESET).
Before flashing any updates perform the factory data reset (SETTINGS > GENERAL MANAGEMENT > RESET > FACTORY DATA RESET).
Seek help from 3rd party companies. You will have to Google search this one on your own, as I will not be able to help because the phone may not be rightfully yours and/or maybe lost and/or stolen. Please note I am not saying it is yours or not, just that it might not be.. Most people won't encounter the FRP lock issue with the phone they own. Is it possible to have an icloud like feature if my device gets stolen?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask a question about the android find my device feature.Everyone knows that icloud does not allow you to use any device after being factory resetted, until you enter the credentials of the original apple id used on the device.I know that it is possible to remove a passcode from an android device if you reset it from Recovery.I want to know if there is a way by which we can make it so that no one can access an android device until the original google account is entered. This is just in case my device is stolen.
Thanks
There is FRP (Factory Reset Protection) protection, but it is easily bypassed in some situations.

My phone got stolen.

My phone got stolen yesterday. Luckily phone & SIM both were protected by a PIN. Now my questions are
1. Will Factory reset protection will protect my phone from accepting any other google account login. Does it work automatically or I had to enable it before it got stolen?
2. Can the thief flash different firmware to use it?
3. Should I take the trouble of requesting the police to block the IMEI of my stolen phone?

Sorry to hear that.
1. FRP will kick in, but there are many videos for many different phones with steps how to bypass FRP. So anyone diligent enough can bypass it.
2. Once someone gets through FRP, he can unlock the bootloader and flash whatever he wants. Without disabled FRP, phone can be probably still reflashed in EDL (which requires an authorized Mi Account).
3. You should report it, but IMEI blocking must be supported by operators and also IMEI can be changed. So at the end it's your call if it's worth your time.

[CLOSED] Can anyone help unlocking the phone of my father who just passed away?

Like the title says, my father just passed and we're locked out of his phone.
Don't want to factory reset the phone because all of his accounts are on there in apps and we're not able to figure out if we missed anything. Worried about upcoming bills and then any stocks or trades he did only in apps.
Currently the phone is requiring a pattern unlock and I've unsuccessfully been able to guess it so it kind of locked us out of doing anything. Can't even power off or reset it.
It's also saying "unlock the phone to use fingerprints." Does that mean even if we were to somehow guess the pattern would we still need the fingerprint to open the phone?
Is there a way we can bypass any of this? I looked into some programs and downloaded them but they all said they would erase the data if we removed the pattern unlock.
I have access to his Gmail via a tablet that we knew the pin code for but haven't been able to reset the password just yet. Not sure if having the google account password available will help us unlock the phone or not?
Any help or links to tutorials would greatly be appreciated.
By sheer luck I was able to guess the swipe unlock pattern so the phone is now unlocked for me. Mods can delete this thread if they want.

Question Bypass the Factory Reset Protection (FRP)

Hey,
I know - the topic seems a bit off - but my old phone from Xiaomi was stolen some days ago. I thought that the thief cannot use it through the Factory Reset Protection, but know I found a lot of ways in the internet to bypsas the factory reset protection.
I'm thinking now about buying an Pixel 6. Beforehand I would like to know, if it is possible to bypass the FRP on an not rooted pixel 6 with a locked bootloader. I'm not looking for any advice, only an anwser to the qustion whether it is possible ...
Possible? Anything is possible. But as of now there is no way to bypass FRP I am aware of.
