Try searching "Full screen display"
Or go to additional settings > full screen display

I've looked everywhere but there is no way to change it from settings. Is it possible to uninstall with applications such as platform-tools

I search for this on net too but nothing.only with root and magisk.

Help hiding the VPN icon in Touchwiz

In stock Android previous to 5.0 the VPN icon appears as an annoying persistent key in the top left like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After 5.0 they moved it as a system icon to the right and it can be turned off or adjusted.
It looks like this:
It seems like in Touchwiz they never updated this and the key is still on the left. Even if you're using 5.1.1 (I assume 6.0 will be the same.)
---
2 Questions:
1) Without rooting, is there a way to remove or hide that icon?
2) Is there a way to file a bug or ticket with Samsung to let them know to fix this in the new Touchwiz? Or some other way of contacting them?
1) Long press on the notification and see if you can disable the notifications there.
2) ha Good luck with that.

Just have to live with it then.

Is it possible to disable search key on Chromebook?

Hi, can anyone help with this?
Is there a way to disable/re-program the search key on a Chromebook?
My son is autistic and we use the Chromebook for his schooling using a supervised user. We use this to allow him to use specific websites only.
But he constantly presses the search key which slows everything down when we are working with him.
Thanks
How to disable the search key in ChromeOS/Chromebook
Bottom right: Settings (gear) -> Device (section) -> Keyboard Settings.
Use the pulldown menu to change or disable the functionality of the special keys. I switched it to caps lock, for example. Though here you can see it disabled:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Chrome 68 and tab switcher

Hello, Im in Global 7.1, and Chrome was updated to 68.0.3440.91, now tab switcher is like 2010 phone tab switcher:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Before this stupid update (in 66.xxx), tab switcher was like this:
Is any way to fix this?

Many thanks!!!!
i followed this:
"I found the solution on Reddit. It turns out another app (not chrome) that was granted accessibility access was somehow triggering Chrome's own accessibility tab switching. I turned off accessibility access to all the apps that had it one by one until it fixed the issue"
In my case "longshot" app was enabled in accesibility settings
. I disabled It and at the moment the "modern" tab switcher was working!!

Question no scrubber for spotify/youtube on oneplus 10t locksreen (android 12)

so pretty happy with my new 10t...only thing is that the Spotify playback doesn't have scrubber option on lock screen even when i swipe down on it...tried all notification settings but to no avail...anyone got any ideas why?
https://imgur.com/NAtffkw
also in the notification drawer, the spotify/youtube playback window is small and not expanding across as can be seen below:
https://imgur.com/a/GdabwA0
is there anyway to get it like this?

no one?
If I swipe down and expand out the quick settings I get the scrubber. This works both on the lock screen and any other screen. I have not changed any settings related to this, just works as default.

Question Keyboard Switch Shortcut

I just received my 12T Pro and have done a minimal setup. I've installed Swiftkey along with the default Gboard. There is no keyboard shortcut in the bottom right hand corner like in this example below. Does anyone know how to make it show up? There's a shortcut from the notification drawer but prefer from the bottom navigation.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Maybe your can find it here: Settings -> Accessibility -> Interaction Controls -> Accessibility -> Use Service = On
Alternatively check if there is a setting called Show keyboard button in the language and input section.
None of those options are available on my phone. I'm on MIUI 13. Does it show up for you?

Yes these options are available. I assume it depends on the Android version and the various Android interpretations. Do you have gesture navigation enabled? I'm sure it's not because of that but give it a try.
It shows up on my previous Oneplus 7T but not on the 12T Pro. Tried with and without gestures and same deal
