Flashed wrong (online) software via DCPhoenix. It flashed but never turned on. Went black, no update mode, no revovery mode. Nothing. But PC detects it.

Solved via testpoint with Octoplus Huawei
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNBRICK TOTALLY BLACK SCREEN HUAWEI USING OCTOPLUS HUAWEI:
Download the SAME as on your phone OR NEWER SERVICE - OFFLINE FIRMWARE,
(2 versions here: https://mega.nz/file/lANCTZoR#GbFZEYnNOsyRLIAZVNYFO02cL5pp1OhTAN_naYyQgk0
https://mega.nz/file/kJVikZhA#Rn4VkQKYOJmKTrnKBLEHy8i82i7D3sB6MAT7hQWz4x4).
Enable downgrade on OCTOPLUS REPAIR option while in testpoint if you want to flash a lower version!!!
Open back cover
Remove bat and lcd CONNECTIONS
Connect to PC
Make testpoint
Reconnect bat and lcd
Find mobile driver (I should be USB SER or something like that) on PC Manager
Update driver manually BY INSTALLING HUAWEI INTEGRATED USB COM 1 DRIVER
...UPDATE, FROM PC, FROM this PC, HUAWEI INTEGRATED, USB COM1.
LAUNCH OCTOPLUS
REPAIR AND Update BACKUP (BOOTLOADER - OEM info) -Set the version you have.
Enable downgrade on OCTOPLUS REPAIR option while in testpoint if you want to flash a lower firmware version!!!
After success repair it will reboot in fastboot mode - temporary unlocked bootloader.
(Dont try flash TWRP - it will never load)
Flash software by selecting fastboot mode and only the 2 files - base update and cust update
extracted from downloaded zip
When firmware loaded to phone it will ask you to access download mode
If Octoplus cant access download mode, do it manually (+- buttons and power. When vibrates, RELEASE power and whait for download screen while still holding +- buttons. Release +- buttons when on download mode)
BE CAREFUL: DONT TURN ON THE PHONE, and DONT UBPLUG FROM PC - BOOTLOADER WILL BE RELOCKED AND YOU CANT FLASH!
Confirm FLASH in octoplus.
Flash...
Anyway, when Octoplus asks to access download mode, means bootloader is fixed
so you can flash also using sd card or usb key (insert dhe dload firmware to sd or usb)
by force download.

I have a Huawei Honor 7 with a locked bootloader and no access.

I got my Honor 7 secondhand, and in the state it is I suspect it's bricked, as the system doesn't boot but fast boot does. I've been able to start in up in fast boot mode, but I couldn't flash recovery because fast boot shows an error saying I have no permission. I can unlock the bootloader if I had the IMEI of the phone, but I cannot boot therefore can't see it. I did not get the original box, so I can't get it from there either. The SIM tray was lost ¬¬. I have tried fastboot getvar IMEI, but I get the same error. Is there any tool or any way I could obtain the IMEI or skip the IMEI process indefinitely? Worst case scenario I would have to disassemble the phone to get it, which I prefer not to do.
even with the imei, the unlock site now requires you to use the actual device (with an account) on their site for 14 days so that doesn't help!
without the sim tray you can't flash stock either (as you have no access to internal storage, and i doubt stock recovery allows adb push)
you could try the eRecovery. it's supposed to get packages via wifi:
plug in usb data (connected to a pc)
turn it on holding vol+ until the eRecovery starts up
from my Huawei flashing experiences i doubt it will actually work :silly: but worth a try before you have to ring Huawei...

Thanks for the reply. Unsure what specific tool this eRecovery is, so can you link it? (looked around and saw 'Acer eRecovery' not sure if that's it)

it's part of the firmware, so it's already on your phone, there is a second recovery partition (it's probably on there)
if you try the instructions in the previous post it should start it up

[Hardcore problem?] Stuck in loop, bootloader locked

Hello my friend just made an update of his phone which is a redmi 3 pro
His little bro shutdowned the phone while update was in process. The result is that now the phone have a bootloop, can't access the recovery (blackscreen when trying) and have a locked bootloader.
So I am not sur how to unlock the BL if I can't install a dev rom and can't boot. Not sur how to get into the recovery with the 2 same problems.
Could anyone help me for this one? Which is hard to me.
Thanks
PS: I tried to do something with unpacking boot and remove a ",verify" thing in the ramdisk but I guess I'll need the unlockedbootloader to flash the new boot.img?

I have the similar problem with my Redmi3. The Fastboot screen is the only screen that I can get now. Let me know if you have answer. Thanks.
If you can acces fastboot then just connect the phone to computer in fastboot and enter fastboot oem edl in cmd (maybe you will need Minimal ADB and fastboot to do it). Then flash official ROM via MiFlash.
ohoh seems interesting then it won't say couldn't verify or smthg? will tell that to my friend asap, thanks
EDL mode allows flashing with locked bootloader. Some models have this mode locked, but I think that is not the case with Redmi 3.

Hey! I am back with some news of my friend!
He tried to run the EDL mode but when he does that the phone simply goes into the bootloop again... He asked a vendor from Aliexpress to get a french rom, is there a way that the phone doesn't have EDL because of the rom or something like that? I mean is EDL a hardware-thing or a software-thing
same problem

[GUIDE] EASY Axon 7 UNIVERSAL UNBRICK / FACTORY RESTORE

WARNING, THIS GUIDE WILL WIPE ALL THE DATA IN YOUR DEVICE.
!!! Whatever you do, it is at your own risk !!!
This procedure will unbrick any Axon 7, returning it to stock. It fixes any kind of brick as long as your hardware is not damaged. You can't damage your hardware using software so if you have a healthy unit, you can recover it from any flashing "accident".
1. GET THE SOFTWARE
You need a Windows PC, Windows 10 is highly recommended. Do this:
01. Install MiFlash in your PC. It includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC drivers, nonetheless you can always install the latest drivers.
02. Download the EDL flashable stock firmware package for your model:
A2017 (China): B14_MIFAVOR5 Android: 7.1.1
A2017G (Europe): B10_NOUGAT Android: 7.1.1
A2017U (Americas): B35_NOUGAT Android: 7.1.1
03. Unzip the firmware ZIP file to a folder in your hard drive.
2. ENTER EDL MODE
Option A: USING THE REBOOT COMMAND
If you still have access to your system but not to recovery or fastboot, then you just need to install any terminal app, open it and at the app's command prompt enter:
Code:
reboot edl
. You device will reboot into EDL mode. Now you can safely plug your Device to your computer. In your computer right click in the Windows Start Menu icon and select Device Manager. Under Ports (COM & LPT) your device should appear as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 using a virtual COM port. If you can see it, then you can continue to the flash section, step 14. Otherwise, if you do not see anything or a DFU device, then you'll need to explore the next option.
Option B: USING THE BUTTON COMBO
04. Press the VolUp and VolDn buttons in your device and keep them pressed.
05. Now press the power button until the red LED flashes, it does it really quick. Then release the buttons, starting by the power button.
06. Plug the device to your computer.
In your computer right click in the Windows Start Menu icon and select Device Manager. Under Ports (COM & LPT) your device should appear as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 using a virtual COM port. If you can see it, then you can continue to the flash section, step 14. Otherwise, if you do not see anything or a DFU device, then you need an EDL cable.
OPTION C: USING THE EDL CABLE
So, you need to get a Qualcomm EDL cable. With it you can recover from any situation. I use this one, DrakenFX uses this other model. There are cables out there not working properly so do not try to save 4 or 5 bucks and get yours from a reliable source. Alternatively you can solder your own by following this guide. If you are in an emergency (or your patience threshold is very low) and have a thin wire around you, then you can follow this DIY hack video.
Do you already have the EDL cable? then follow these steps:
07. Connect your bricked Axon 7 to your PC using the EDL cable.
08. Press the EDL cable button and keep it pressed.
09. Press the Power button of your bricked unit and keep it pressed too.
10. Wait 20 seconds.
11. Release the power button.
12. Wait 10 seconds.
13. Release the button of the EDL cable.
Voilà, your device is now in EDL mode. The device manager in your PC, under the ports category, should detect it as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. Now you can proceed to the flash section. If this procedure doesn't work, then your unit could have a hardware problem. Your only hope is to dissemble it by following this last resort guide.
3. FLASH FIRMWARE
14. Open MiFlash in your computer.
15. Click Browse button and select the folder you created in step 03 with the stock firmware files.
16. Click Refresh button and your device will appear listed as virtual COM port.
17. Click Flash button and wait for a few minutes until it finishes. Note that the bottom options are not applicable.
18. Now you have a stock Axon 7. Your data partition will still have garbage data, so you should enter recovery by pressing VolUp while rebooting your device with the power button. Release VolUp only when you reach Recovery. Using Recovery do a Factory Reset of your device.
That was the last step. Hopefully now you have a fully functional stock Axon 7.
By the way, this guide can also be used to return to stock any working device for selling or service!!!!
Cheers!!!!

I don't know what you mean about converting an A2017 into an A2017U. They are the same device except for the radio, that that's a hardware difference. You should always use the right modem firmware for your radio hardware so you should use the A2017 modem firmware. After unbricking your unit, you can unlock it again and flash any universal firmware the same way you did before. It is a long but safe process.
yes, i meant to say that i flashed U radio over my A2017
so China version is for me.

If you flashed the A2017U radio in a A2017 hardware and worked fine for you, then you can use the A2017U B35 stock firmware.

It should be locked. But in case you end up with an unlocked phone, then locking it is very easy. You only need to connect your phone, enter into fastboot mode, download the adb/fastboot tools and execute the command fastboot oem lock from your computer.

I can't get into EDL mode. I hold down volume buttons, then power. When the red led lights up, I unpress power, then the volume buttons, connect the USB cable and nothing happens on my phone (black display) red led still on. On my computer I see ZTE Handset Diagnostic Interface(DFU) (COM3).
Edit: I managed to get into EDL mode thanks to Axon 7 EDL Tool but I got a "File analysis: error" "not important files found" so I went back to MiFlash and also got an error about the files. Will update the post when I get it to work.

Anyway, my phone is working now. The downloaded EDL zip was corrupt so it only had a few files inside.

Glad to see you solved your issue. I misunderstood your problem. I thought you had access to the system and not to recovery or fastboot. Anyway, this guide is for unbrick or return to stock. I'll investigate the relock problem. Usually clearing devinfo partition should be enough to relock any bootloader.

Well, I am considering to link the older Marshmallow ROMs since the Nougat ROMs have some issues with fastboot. Anyway. It is going to take some time to test the alternatives. Thanks for letting us know!
Some of the most recent firmware for Axon 7 (@NFound's B12 bootstack, I think) doesn't support the EDL button combo. But if you have TWRP installed, you can boot to recovery, then reboot to EDL from there.
I kept getting the device registering in device manager in DFU mode. But I noticed that it briefly registers as QUSB_BULK before reverting to DFU. So I installed zadig winUSB driver and now it registers as QUSB_BULK when I turn on the device pressing all 3 buttons.
How can I proceed now?
Hi there
Thanks for this guide. I have a 2017U, so I got A2017U_B35_NOUGAT_FULL_EDL.zip file. After unzipping and connecting the phone to the computer it gets properly recognized and i can start the process from the MiFlash program. After reaching somewhere between 30-40% of the flashing process, it goes suddenly to 100% and it says that is finished. When I reboot the phone, it appears as if I was still under an unlocked bootloader (warning message + TUX penguin image) and the phone starts but during the initial setup process, i chose to start as a new phone but it says that "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device" and obviously this is not what I am interested for.
How can I get rid of this message and get a full clean install, with bootloader relocked and all that??
Thank you for any help you can provide!

There ate several ways to remove that. One involves TWRP 3.2.1-7 and the other Axon 7 EDL tool, if you dont have TWRP then use the second . Jusy go to the unlock menu and apply the google unlock.
A third way would be to setup the phone with your old google account and do afactory reset from within Android, not from the bootloader. That would remove also the owner safety.
Thank you so much for your guide and software bundle.
I even had to make a EDL cable to restore my device.
After flashing, I do not see vendor as a partition but looks like it is a folder. Is it OK for future ROMs ?

EDL mode is available but I have no clue if Flashone - "Qualcomm - flash dead phone" will work. Besides Flashone looks for zip file not ozip. You may need to convert ozip to zip and please check here for that - https://forum.xda-developers.com/realme-2-pro/how-to/convert-ozip-to-zip-installing-stock-t4065277.
I have X3, not Super Zoom but I could get the phone to edl mode and could see the COM port on Windows too. Power off the unit. Connect your USB cable to PC - this is important. wait for the screen to go blank. Press Vol Down + Power button together to get to recovery mode - takes few seconds. Select language and then press ver 1.2 (as shown on X3) about 3 times to get to edl mode. If you do not connect the cable as mentioned tapping ver x.x does not do anything.
Hope that helps and good luck.
PS: I know that you've mentioned that no recovery. Hopefully assume the screen remains blank and tap on bottom middle to see if Windows recognises any COM port under device manager.

In China, this Phone is called Nubia Play, and the Global version is called Redmagic 5G Lite,
but the mobile phone model is NX651J. Generally speaking, the two are only the difference in ROM.
This is the edl firmware of Nubia Play,CN version.which can repair your phone in edl mode.
All the files are from the official package without any modification!
How to do?
1.Open XiaoMiFlash.exe in the MiFlash folder
2.Click the select button to select the images in this firmware
3.The phone enters edl mode and connects to the computer with a usb cable
(If your phone is in edl mode (9008 mode) for a long time, you must long press the
power button volume + and volume-keys to force the phone to power off, and then re-enter edl mode)
4.Click Loading and see the COMxx that appears, indicating that your phone is connected. Then click Flash
5.Then just wait, prompting flash done!sucess! It means that the flashing has been completed,
long press the power button to restart the phone!
When you see the green notification light next to the front camera light up,
you can release the power button.

Its Not Global Rom , Only Chinese Firmware !
Why do I use scarlet letter when I use flash
The brick tool has worked on a few occasions ,thank you for that but now I need more help or suggestions, when playing between the Spain ROM and China version I lost the baseband and IMEI.Then I thought, locking the bootloader back would help obviously it did not work. Now even though I flashed the unbrick tool though miflasher edl mode I am stuck with a blank screen after the Nubia logo and port Qualcomm 900e in Windows device manager.
Tried already via recovery to flash an update China version or Spain version they flashed fine however still same scenario after Nubia logo.
Not sure what my options are.

@johnny886
Thank you for the tool.Just wondering if there is a version for Android 11 as i updated to 3.16 android 11 firmware via the usb and now I get your device is corrupt.
Obviously my problem dates back to unlocking and then relocking the bootloader which somehow bricked the phone. Even though before relocking the tool worked once the bootloader was locked the phone wasn't able to boot into system but I was not getting the device is corrupt.
I am hoping for a way to unlock the bootloader or to be able to get back into the system to tick the option in the developer settings hence I am keeping my hope for an updated unbrick tool.
I donwload the file and uncompress it, when select the folder with XiaoMiFlash is shows "could't find flash script".
There are no flash_all.bat file on folder
any help, where is that file?
(mega interrupt the download process)
@ecatombe1234
In my case said the same with regards the script but had flashed fine once started.
Just be careful if you have the bootloader unlocked do not lock it again with the fastboot flash lock.
Thanks for you, really soon, response.
Yes, I try, put phone in edl mode, refresh, flash, and recive [... COM8]:ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_TYPE 0
@ecatombe1234
Usually this is down to the drivers used for Qualcomm Edl mode. Have you installed them ?
Is the EDL mode phone recognized in the device manager as Qualcomm??
Yes, I have correct drivers, I restored the phone last year, but not now.
Xiaomi tool detects phone in bootloader and in edl mode.
Windows detect phone in edl mode as: Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM8).
I tried with QFiL too, but I am not sure the config to work qith this, because it detect mobile in edl mode.

Thank you for the version even though this version got me a bit further in a Chinese testing menu still couldn't boot into system .
Must be something to do with the relocking of the bootloader.

I've been following your discussion on this thread and had the same problem after ota update to 3.16.
I also had initially difficulty flashing with MiFlash but finally it worked.
I immediately pressed the flash after entering EDL mode
My phone flashed and entered the Chinese mode. I then went to bootloader by hard pressing the power button and Vol down key.
In bootloader I entered recovery which allowed me to update using OTG. I used a flash with USB C and loaded the phone with NX651J v 22 and my phone is back to the previous settings.
