Why can't I login to Helium to restore my apps? - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

I just bought a Galaxy S21 5G (unlocked US version) and before starting my new phone, I created several app data backups from Helium on my old Galaxy S8, as well as one or two full app backups. I installed Helium on my new phone, the Galaxy S21, and whenever I try to restore from Google Drive (where I put the backup data, I see an alert that says "Unable to login. You have not setup any Google Accounts", I hit 'OK', and then it takes me to a screen that says "An error occurred while retriving your app list." When I click "login to sync with your other devices," I also get "Unable to login. You have not setup any Google Accounts".
What gives? How can I get my app backups on this?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue

[Q] Can't login to Google Apps

Hi all-
I'm familiar with Android and I've been playing with rooted phones for the last two years. Now I've moved up to the G tab. I'm not a developer, but I'm good at following directions. My tab is running Vegan GE at the moment and I'm unable to use my existing Google login to access any of the apps: market, gmail, gmaps, etc...
Things I've tried without success:
-Market Enabler
-NVFlash, reload stock files, clean install of Vegan GE
-Wipe and load V 5.1.1
-Wipe and load Vegan GE
-Repartition
-Clear google framework and market data
-Reset WiFi and verify connection
-Create new Google account: success! But doesn't help with accessing my default account
Every time I try to sign in via the "Add a Google account" or Market method, I get either the "Your username and password are incorrect" message or "Your phone needs to communicate with Google servers....." It holds on this screen for roughly 30 seconds and then pops up the "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server".
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, and THANK YOU to all the developers who turned this tablet into something amazing! Even without direct access to Gmail this thing rocks!
Solved!
I'm using Google 2-step authentication and needed to generate a device specific password. I can't believe it took me until now to figure it out.
The data connection message was throwing me off.

[Q] Any way to delete Samsung account without Factory reset?

Hi all,
I've just recently had to do a factory reset and restore with Titanium Backup, now everything is working exactly like I want except Samsung Dive hasn't registered my phone.
It says to remove and re-add the Samsung account, but when I try it says you can only do it with a factory reset. Any way around this? Just don't want to go through setting up and restoring my phone again!
Cheers.
Check if Samsung Account is in Titanium if so factory reset and restore without Samsung Account .

I found a way to do it with Titanium Backup.
1. Freeze Samsung Account
2. Reboot
3. Delete data from Samsung Account through Titanium Backup, then reboot again
4. Now go into Settings -> Accounts and sync and the old Samsung account should be gone and you can now add a new account.
Oh, thanks you so much !!!
I forgot my password and had given a false birthday, so I wasn't able to refind my password ^^'
But thanks to you, I was able to reset a new account ^^
I'm gonna be able to use Dive ! Cool ^^
Many thanks flagger!
But two remarks:
- you can only freeze/defrost an app in the Donate Version of Titanium Backup so it'll cost you 5 euros (which I was glad to pay).
- at step 4 I could not add a new Samsung account. Solution: first defrost samsung account in titanium backup, reboot and then you can add a samsung account.
Hello,
I'd like to do just the same but I can't find "Samsung Account" in Titanium Backup. I have:
- Samsung Apps
- Samsung Push Service
- Samsung TTS
- SamsungAppsUNA2
I tried the above steps with these 4 apps at once but it does nothing. Is it hidden somewhere?...

I got an app called samsung-account, you using a custom rom? maybe the rom deleted it?
Aaaaah, I just found it! I use the stock XWKJ2 ROM but localized in French!
So it appears under "Connexion avec un compte samsung".
I just did in Titanium Backup:
- Freeze the application (the Samsung account then disappears from Accounts and Sync")
- Delete application data
- Defrost the application
Then I could add the Samsung account again.
No reboot and I'm not even sure Freezing/defrosting was really necessary.
Thanks for the ideas guys
Such an old thread, but it helps me so much. I have Samsung Galaxy Note II 4.1.2.
I use free Link2SD instead of TB.
- Freeze the Samsung account so it disappears from Accounts and Sync
- Delete application data
- Unfreeze the Samsung account
- Without reboot I could add the Samsung account again
Thank you guys!

Warning about link2sd. Freezing is ok. Do not use it for its intended purpose of saving space on internal of phone. Several people have have had soft bricks and disappearing apps because of it. Check the link2sd thread. Just be smart and read. You will figure out the charade.

Backup Account Needed

Hello! I'm currently having a problem where my phone keeps clearing my backup (google) account and displaying a "backup account needed" message. Whenever I log back on with my google account it sticks for a minute and then disappears. Any idea what the source of the problem might be?

[Q] Rom Toolbox Pro - Cloud Backups (Box)

I am not able to login to "Box" to setup cloud backups via App Manager settings. I can only login to Drive or Dropbox. When I click on Box a white window pops up and then quickly goes away.
Even when selecting apps to backup I go to Backup to Cloud and select Box but the message "You must login first" appears. Again for the other two services it goes straight into the login procedure.
Why doesn't Box work for Rom Toolbox Pro App Manager Cloud Backup?
Try the age old trick
Wipe data
Uninstall the app
clear cache and reboot
Reinstall and try

HTC M9: Google Play doesn't open + accounts not sync + can't remove account or backup

Hello
So I updated my HTC one M9 to android 7.0 last week and at first all was fine.
Two days ago some apps started misbehaving (SwiftKey for example) and I tried to look for updates. Google play didn't open (blank page). Following forums I went into the accounts and sync and had the "sync is currently experiencing problems it will be back shortly" message... It was never back. Tried to remove my Google account and it doesn't work (nothing happens when I click remove).
Tried all the usual things, reboot, recovery, wipe cache, wipe Google play data. Nothing works, still the same. Now it does not recognise my contacts as well. In despair I wanted to backup to proceed to a data reset but the backup also doesn't work(says set up Google account, but I can't)
Ideas?
I do have the same problem, did anyone find a solution yet ?
