Likely it won't be. You need to downgrade to 12.0.3 to install any custom ROM if you're using MIUI

Natural, some roms feature more customisation, some less. PPUI is based on Pixel Experience rom with minimal customisations.

Thanks for the help. But I switched to Nezuko OS Official. PixelPlus Ui is very stable, I recommend it to everyone, but i like Nezuko more.

I installed this rom I have been testing it for three days and the truth is that the battery wears out very quickly I still don't know if it is because I have a custom kernel installed but the only bugs that I find is that it does not have the notch killer by default and the quality of the videos is bad it should have more video codecs because on instagram the stories and rells are horrible to see
I found a bug in the calls the dial tone does not sound or is not heard when they answer I do not know if I explain myself, to solve it you have to change the sound settings two or three times and it is fixed but it is very annoying.
Is there any updates?
When the phone goes into hibernation it does not answer calls.so later it gives a message that they tried to call you ...

But, there are two issues that are bothering me, when I slide down the QS Panel, the borders are like, cropped ? And the clock is kinda ugly where it is. Look at the ss.
[It would be better if you could just put the Quick Settings Panel of the previous release on this update]

Is hotspot working?
First of all, thank you very much for all the effort preparing the rom. It looks really nice after testing it for a pair of days and I have not found major problems.
The most annoying bug I have experienced is that the clock gets delayed. During 24 hours I can observe how the clock skew can increase to several minutes (5 to 10 minutes) and I am forced to sync the clock (rebooting the system seems to perform such operation).
Any idea of what can be causing this issue? I would provide any log you need but I don't know exactly how to debug it properly.
EDIT: I tried different approaches. The "solution" was to disable the automatic syncing from the network. If I set the time manually, there is no discrepancy between the current time and the one shown by the phone. The strange thing is that before flashing with this rom there was no issue with the date and time provided by my operator. I have read that the NetworkTimeUpdateService may be involved in the process. Anyway, if I could receive some guidance I wouldn't have any problem in debugging it or providing further information.

I'd like to flash this ROM as I can't stand the MIUI bull****, but I've been using Resurrection Remix on Mi 8 Lite before and no camera app was as good as original MIUI camera app. So, I'd like to ask: does anyone there use ANXCamera and does it work completely, or do you use GCam instead (if so, is it working completely - all sensors, no big shutter lag, no viewfinder lag, no excessive noise...) or do you use another app altogether? Thanks

First ur bootloader was must be unlocked
Then flash TWRP from fastboot
Fastboot flash recovery twrp. img
Or

What could cause booting into fastboot, after installing this ROM (over top of 12.0.7), rather than progressing to system boot?

What could cause booting into fastboot, after installing this ROM (over top of 12.0.7), rather than progressing to system boot?

Are you sure the device is entering in FASTBOOT mode automatically?
Is not this RECOVERY mode?
device off does not charge a question mark appears on and off
I tried the rom today, When I try to install some apps from Google play it will freeze, I think its Google issue, How do I resolve the problem?

How to flash this Rom using TWRP? any instruction please because I try to flash it in twrp but its failed error 1 ( need to reboot recovery to change slot B for me to able to flash additional zips) unable to mount system ext, vendor etc. thats the error message I get

No major bugs except what you mentioned.
everything fine, battery backup good & performance good.
you will notice some lagging on first boot just change the wallpaper to static then you will be fine.

flashed with Pe (ADB sideload) working 100%
sideload with Lineage not working for me.
twrp didn't test.
go with PE if you sideloading.

Great rom everything working perfectly feels a lot more smoother to the previous one I did flash-over pixel extended ROM without clearing any data works a treat

All working great except mobile data but I think that's just some apn settings

The only bug except missing APN settings (which need to be added manually) is that automatic brightness doesnt work as expected. In dark room it gets automatically set to minimum brightness and I can barely see the screen and have to make it brighter by adjusting brightness manually every time.

You will need to do the APN settings but for me on heavy usage get me through the day well most of it

I had some problem with installation (didn't wiped data before flashing, done it after)

Hi, a have a lot of time waiting for a good AOSP (since i change my LeMax2 a year ago), now back on tracks i tried this one and run flawlessly.... but i have a question...
where can i change the settings for soft buttons? like back, home and apps? now i see just a line in the bottom

Updated from version 3.5 and it keeps restarting my device. Sometimes I have to do forced restart to make it turn on again.
Everything works fine for me except fast charging. Do anyone else is facing the same issue? If there's some solution, your help would be appreciated.

I thinks they support fast charging, but don't say about it. And as long as you keep your original kernel, fast charge still there, it not affected by Custom ROM (as other on internet say).
Can i flash this on V12.0.1.0.RJOMIXM? or i have to switch to v12.0.1 RJOEUXM?
What's the idle battery usage over night?, because MiUi Redmi Note 9 currently official ROM sucks!

Phone bootlooping if flash it on miui 12.0.6/12.0.1 but works on 11.0.5. But phone periodically turns off.

Happens to me as well. I'm dirty reflashing the system again. What system did you come from, MIUI or some OSS ROM? I had Pixel Experience before.

I was flashing miui 11.0.5 via fastboot then installing twrp and installing pixelplusui. If I was flashing miui 12.0.6, then after installing pixelplusui, the phone goes into bootloop

I now used MIUI V12.0.1.0.QJOIDXM (Indonesia ROM that multiple custom ROMs referenced as safe base image) and SHRP_v3.1_stable-Official_merlin.img. Also did you flash the firmware that main post tells you to? I missed it first time and had problems with freezing (black screen, only hard reset helps) and with phone shutting off instead of rebooting. Now it looks like everything works.
Also make sure you have all your data and IMEI and other partitions (refer to Guides for Merlin) in case you lose your IMEI

After flashing the respective firmware, the phone also went into the bootloop and recovery stopped working. Now I will try to flash MIUI V12.0.1.0.QJOIDXM and shrp, I hope it will work. And I saved up nvram a long time ago
