Just got the 2028 from Tmo yesterday - the Game Mode popup when switching from a game to ads and back is super annoying. Can it be shut off? Do I really need to know every time it enters Game Mode?

This drives me absoulty bonkers, that the phone doesn't turn landscape. I can understand they don't want to program the widgets to do that. But all I want is one screen while I'm at work that will turn landscape that will give me some basic info. Mainly email and a couple of widgets. This is my biggest frustation with this phone.
I would like to get this apk too. I have a stock rom, first OTA update and nothing for landscape mode installed. I had my phone in some weird mode after plugging in a car charger. The car dock app came up and when I hit the home button, I got the home screen. Turned the phone landscape and the home screen turn landscape. Every screen was able to turn to landscape now but when I made a call, the speaker phone enabled automatically. My phone was this way even after killing the car dock app. I thought there was some update to allow landscape but after pulling the battery, no more auto speaker phone (what I wanted) but the landscape mode was gone too. Has anyone else seen this?
I've been having these 2 issues for a while now and I have a feeling they may be connected.
Both issues happened with stock and with paranoid android. I thought that Greenify was the culprit because they seemed to go away for awhile after I uninstalled it but both issues returned at about the same time.

Issue 1: Screen
My screen will sometimes not turn on. Neither the power button or knock on will work. It seems completely random when it will and wont turn on. The notification light will shine if I have a notification but the screen itself wont turn on. I can usually turn it on again if I wait a few or minutes or if I restart the device by holding down the power button.
Issue 2: Keyboard
I will open an app (hoverchat, chrome, snapchat, ect) and they keys will respond to my touch and the spell checker will show what I'm typing but nothing will show up in the text box. If I type nonsense eventually some of it will show up and I can continue typing. Clearing the data and cache of the keyboard didnt help. Usually I have to quit and reopen the app a few times in order to be able to type.
This happens with every keyboard I have tried. I am currently using Android L Keyboard (I think it got removed from play).
Both of these issues are incredibly frustrating and I would love any help anyone can offer. Thanks guys!

I have the phone for a couple of days and I have noticed a strange thing. My second screen sometimes becomes unresponsive to touch although it works perfectly fine otherwise. (i.e. when i enter the camera app on the main screen and switch to back it opens the camera on the small screen but it doesn't respond to touch). I have noticed that it happens after opening some heavy duty apps like games, but if I don't open a game it works normal all the time. When i restart the phone it works normally again until i open a game. Weird.
I have the Flyme 6.1.3.0G build which is up to date and I have installed google play and other google apps.
If you have some advice pls help.
sometimes for me too if I tap twice on it for the display to appear it's not enough for it to turn on, I'm sorry for not having more answers

Whenever I play demanding games (PUBG Mobile or PPSSPP emulator), it would stutters and lags (but still playable after a short while, this gets instantly fixed when I hit the Multitask button (left to the Home button) to bring up the windows and tap on the game to resume playing.
For example, in PuBG Mobile, when I first start playing at any settings, the game runs at 40fps or more, shortly when I enter the match, the fps would slowly get worse, falls down to 20-25fps. When I hit the multitask button and resume, the game runs at 40fps+ again.
Anybody knows How to fix that?

Happened the same to me in PUBG Mobile. And I don't know how to fix other than press the recent apps button and then go back to the game again. It will solve (most of the time) the mic issue as well.
Whenever I open a game or app that defaults to landscape, the screen goes black. The only way to get out of it is by swiping from the side like the gesture to go home. If I turn my phone off while my screen is black, the only way to get the screen back is to restart the phone. Also, I can only see the game if I go home and go back into the game or app from the recents menu. I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue and any help would be appreciated.
Also, root isn't the issue as I unrooted my phone and the issue still occurred.
Edit: it started working again after msm reset.
Edit2: Cause was setting animation speeds to 0.25x
