What is Xiaomi Firmware Updater?
A set of various scripts that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files for every MIUI new update! My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global, EEA, India, and China, extract firmware either from the firmware-update folder or from update payload, generate firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to multiple servers. These scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every X hours.
Notes:
Firmware filenames for this device are in the following manner:

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is firmware? Is it a full ROM or OTA package?
Firmware is not a ROM nor OTA Package, it's a set of low-level drivers which helps the operating system do whatever it wants to do. It includes various things like Modem, Bluetooth, Bootloader, DSP and etc.
Why should I update the Firmware?
Firmware is provided from Xiaomi directly, and there are no sources for it to let developers build and edit it on their own like custom ROMs, so if you want to keep your device up to date always update your firmware!
Do I need to update the Firmware If I'm an MIUI official or a custom ROM user?
No, MIUI ROMs contain the firmware-update package which I extract and provide here.
What are the supported devices?
All Snapdragon and MTK devices including China-only devices.
Check the full devices list here
How to update the firmware?
1- Download the package you want to flash. IT MUST BE NAMED WITH THE SAME CODENAME OF YOUR DEVICE.
2- Flash it using TWRP or any custom recovery. There's no need to wipe/format anything before or after the installation.
Note: As there's no custom recovery for this device currently, you can use @mslezak's flashing script to flash files from fastboot.
How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.

They are the same. You should be able to flash any official ROM with codename haydn after the bootloader is unlocked.

Uh guys the issue with downloading just the firmware is there is no installation script. I wrote one yesterday let me see if I can attach it here.... rename it to .bat from .txt XDA won't allow scripts on here. And that's a Windows installer BTW... Make sure fastboot is in your path.

Yeah that's the issue there IS NO CUSTOM RECOVERY for any haydn devices. Hence my script uploaded here while we wait.
Now a question for you - I'm a dev too and I'm sure you put a lot of work into this. Can it be flashed on a rooted device with FK or EX kernel manager instead of a custom recovery?

Ah. No custom recovery is a problem...
I'm not sure about the mechanism these apps use, as far as I know it can flash custom kernels, but not sure about firmware partitions because they are critical.

Sorry, not understanding the need to have to package MIUI ROMs separately and host them elsewhere for people to download.
I always go to https://c.mi.com/miuidownload/index and it has what I need for Mi 9 ROMs that I can flash in either TWRP or miflash. That has been my solution for as long as I own the device...
Please enlighten me if I am missing something

FW+Vendor packages can replace flashing MIUI, not firmware packages.

How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.
Support or Contact:

You were on Q firmware, and the latest is R firmware now.
Before flashing newer android version firmware you should make sure it will work with your current ROM by asking the maintainer.
Flashing firmware update might cause bootloop in one case, which is the incompatibility between the ROM and the firmware which is infrequent to happen. unless there's a huge change in the firmware, for example, a newer android version.

So, the firmware package contains modem drivers and baseband specs?
Would a chinese firmware work on european cellphone networks?
The xiaomi.eu ROM states, that it is based on the chinese stable ROM but it is made for european users.
Does it have chinese or eu firmware?
I'm just asking for better understanding.

How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.

Great job, keep up the good work ..... you were involved in the twrp builder application ...any chance of an early recovery or a quick guide how to use the old twrp builder application to port or build for android 11 and phones with no recovery partition .. I'm guessing it goes into the boot partition on Mi 11 Lite ..
Hi, I'm on 12.0.3.0 RKIEUXM, and have no OTA update..Is there a way to force manually the OTA...today there isn't recovery, so no method
thank's...
EDIT : I find this method and install 12.0.8 update by local method...hope I will not brick my phone...

any differences between mi11 lite 4g and mi 11 lite 5g?

Development [Firmware] Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G [fleur] [Auto updated!]

Xiaomi custom ROMs users face a problem with firmware updates. As there are many devices with no one to provide the newest firmware update every single release, and developers who provide updates to devices may forget or be busy sometimes, so releases are provided later. Here comes Xiaomi Firmware Updater project:

What is Xiaomi Firmware Updater?
A set of various scripts that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files for every MIUI new update! My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global, EEA, India, and China, extract firmware either from the firmware-update folder or from update payload, generate firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to multiple servers. These scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every X hours.
Notes:
Firmware filenames for this device are in the following manner:
fw_fleur_miui_FLEURGlobal_*.zip is Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur) Global firmware.
fw_fleur_miui_FLEUREEAGlobal_*.zip is Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur) EEA Global firmware.
fw_fleur_miui_FLEURINGlobal_*.zip is Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur) India Global firmware.
