Hi guys, we're posting this message today to talk about RevengeOS. We want to talk about the developers of our project.

And lastly, we want their users to be happy while using it. But there is a problem, three developers can't do much. So, we're here to ask if you - if you're a developer, and if you want to join us, you may do so. We have the following requirements:
Knowledge of Android and Java

Does this ROM support signature spoofing? Thx.

Playing with this a little. Wasn't sure which version (11). AFWall plays well with this, and the firewall log works so far.

I currently use LineageOS 18 on my Moto G7 Plus, which I successfully installed myself using the official instructions. Never used TWRP.
Lineage is OK. Nothing great. Android itself just gets worse with ever generation it seems. And some things don't work at all on mine (like voicemail).
So, I want to try this Revenge OS. Questions:
1) I don't understand what all these install directions actually mean. Sorry, I'm just not that experienced. How do I learn what they all mean so I don't brick my phone?
2) How do I know I can trust Revenge as an OS that doesn't have extra malicious code in it (key/screen loggers, etc) that will get my data, passwords, crypto, etc?
Thx.

1) That's something that you could look into. You should be able to google and learn what the terms mean or look at the instructions for other custom ROMs here and see if there's a better explanation as generally the procedures are quite similar.
2) The source code IS available at https://github.com/revengeos so you can audit it yourself but most people aren't going to know what to look for. You could check Revenge's Telegram or other connections and see what others are experiencing and saying.

Thank you for the OS. I installed it and started testing on my G7 plus. It gave me a feeling of a very snappy system, letting fast apps functioning. Great! The only issue I discovered is the aborting wallpaper app which prevents me from changing the main screen appearence. But I could live with it. So I proceeded to enable rooted apps, like AWFirewall, via Magisk. For this I needed to install TWRP via recovery mode.
And here I knocked into a true problem... The recovery boot disappeared! Trying to reset to Recovery mode I only fall into a screen with dead android icon saying "No Command". I can alternatively enter the bootloader, but when I opt for Recovery Mode or other options, the device enters into bootloop. I can only launch back the OS which works without root.
I tried to lauch TWRP via fastboot command: fastboot boot twrp-3.5.2_9-0-lake.img. TWRP runs but the touchscreen remains unresponsive. So no chance that way either for installing Magisk. Flashing TWRP does not work, it says "no partitition found".
I tried some advices proposed in forums and found out that remounting /system and /cache fail via "adb mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2", only /data is detected. I presume that the OS installation procedure in some way blocked access to system partititions.
Could you please suggest a solution of the issue. I'd like to take back control over root and recovery partititions.
Thanks for your advice and help

This ROM is all about open source APPS : Kudos!
Maybe some folks could not like the replacement of the originals AOSP apps
Except for few things (buttons and gestures) not costumizable , its a shame
Screenshot are from me ...

BEWARE : TWRP touchscreen totally unresponsive , its true
After install this ROM , when wanted to to install other ROM thru TWRP the touchscreen totally unresponsive...
SOLUTION: install another ROM from "ADB sideload" to regain TWRP touchscreen, worked for me
Regards

Thank you for reviewing this rom!

Hello i think download link is not working, i would like to test this rom

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimisations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore
Device specific features for OP3(T) (List is being updated):
- Oneplus 3(T) custom camera HAL: Resulting in better picture quality than OEM.
- Implemented custom picture background processing leading to very fast shutter speed (OnePlus 3(T) specific)
- Offscreen gestures
- sRGB support (OnePlus 3(T) specific)
- Alert slider customization
- aptX and aptXHD support
- Specific device performance and battery optimizations (details on this coming)
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!

Wow Paranoid Android is here
Runs great. Is there any chance of adding option to adjust navbar height?
As this is just a direct copy and paste from the op3/t sub your gonna need new install instructions for the pixel as it's totally different to any other device

I can't seem to get this to boot. Did you just use the normal flashing instructions for any other May Pixel ROM?
First I am still on April bootloader.
Never flashed may stock.
Always flashing like this:
Boot to twrp
Wipe factory reset
Advanced wipe cache and system
In twrp reboot
Reboot to the not active slot
There will be a error message that you don't have system installed
Hold vol- and reboot
You are going straight to bootloader on the not active slot
Reboot from there to recovery twrp
In twrp flash rom and twrp
Hold vol- and reboot
From bootloader reboot recovery twrp
In twrp flash image O vendor as vendor
Then flash gapps. I used beans
Reboot
Once in system
Reboot to twrp and flash su
Because I never was on may image I still use sr3
Reboot
Be happy

Why are you holding down volume and rebooting?
Just go to the reboot menu and select recovery, you reboot into recovery..
Im confused
Sometimes it doesn't worked for me. Don't know why.
So I got used to it.
And I didn't mentioned it because I think it's not necessary anymore.
I still Wipe 3 times because I am used to it from years before with clockwork

I have installed beans gapps. Can't sign in with my google account, having an error for Cannot connect with Google servers. Some people suggested 2 step verification was the problem. Turned it off and cleared the data for google apps. Still can't connect. Any suggestions ?

Based On: crDroid 6.x / crDroid 8.x
Version Information
Status: Stable
Notes:
- If you have bootloop after installation, try format data again or to change GAPPS.
- Reboot after a clean install and initial setup so that the BegoniaParts item appears in the settings.
- GAPPS and Google Photo required for G-Cams.
- If you will use Viper FX, then do not forget to enable legacy mode in the application settings.
- If you will use the built-in G-Cams, do not forget to apply configs (three taps between the camshot button and gallery button). If the camera does not find the built-in configs, just reboot the device and try again.
- If you OFF James DSP after ON, reenable Dirac (OFF/ON), if you need it.
- If you OFF G-cam 64 after ON, reboot the device, otherwise bugs are possible.
- ANX cam: If you have problems with a wide angle camera - just turn off the lens distortion correction function, or set the mode to 9/16.

Hi all, anyone using this as their daily driver? Keen to hear how is going. Thanks
Thanks
Thank you for your Work.
Trcamera doesnt Work for me.
In Anx also my front cam doesnt Work.
Any solutions?
The ROM is fast!
NikGApps is working fine to me (I don't know if Google Auto and Google Assistant work because I don't use them).
Trcamera crashes when going to gallery. This fixed when I flashed the omni version of NikGApps. Turns out that the default app for gallery must be Google Photos (AOSP Gallery not working for trcamera)
I don't know about the charging... It says it's it's slowly charging even if I'm using the original fast charger of my phone.
This ROM is awesome nonetheless and thank you devs for keeping up the good work!

I uninstalled the pre-installed trcamera and installed this version.
Before doing that, flash this buffer fix in Magisk.

mostly stable in everything. Both the Cameras are fine. All features functional. Charging and battery performance all good. The pixel launcher feels buggy with the recents tray so using the crdoid home app. Pretty good.

The assistant is working fine with full functional voice recognition. But changing the device fingerprint to something else creates a problem with Ok google because The assistant 2.0 or later gets installed and something happens. ( I haven't used android auto too so no comment).
I also flashed nikgapps full package and everything is fine.
The slow charging problem that u have is not happening with me. What happens is that at the starting it shows charging slowly. Then after a few seconds or a minute it starts charging rapidly.
@TTTT555 do you really need to wipe the internal storage ? It's kinda lame to have to copy everything, couldn't you just wipe data ?

Oh, no no. I meant trCam and AnXcam app...both are working pretty fine so far. My rear and front cam works fine anyways. I have the old device. I am not on the new one.. I think I know what ur trying to say. Ur front cam probably doesn't work ri8? I'm pretty sure in most of the threads people said that the new device kernel hasn't been released and new cam isn't responding in many roms because of that. Honestly i don't think there's any workaround for that unless the kernel is officially released.

Hi.
I test the rom and I have a problem with it. When I try reboot to TWRP I can´t. It stand in the TWRP logo and I can´t start no Lineage no TWRP.
I read that it´s a problem with Android 12 and TWRP.
Thanks for your work.

From notes in OP:
"Android System Intelligence app" crashes continually (every five minutes approx)
Tested multiple times with lineage-19.0-20211029-UNOFFICIAL-RMX1931.zip (downloaded from sourceforge webpage) with both NikGApps (omni, stock and full) and FlameGApps (basic, full). All partitions previously wiped from twrp and data formatted (clean installation). Personal data and apps restored from google backup. I've read in other forums it happens when receiving notifications. Could'nt confirm. Problem ceases disabling the app.
Great job and thanks very much for the rom!!!

Tested.
Beside some minor bugs it's overall good but the fact that it doesn't have signature spoofing permission is really annoying. I tried to use FakeGapps Xposed Module and it doesn't seem to work correctly (LSposed seems not to work) so it's impossible to get notifications using MicroG.
Could you please add support for signature spoofing?
Good enough to use as daily driver? I just downloaded 18.1 but should I use this?
So i noticed 2 things,
1) the lockscreen rotates if auto-rotate is on even if the rotate lock screen is turned off.
2) i dont get any vibration, in LOS 18.1 (your rom) it worked fine, altough i tweaked it a lil with franco kernel manager to be a lil bit more forcefull. It works while booting and while in twrp, just not while in the os. i tried testing it with an app where it didnt work either.
If i should upload a log would i just use matlog for example, and do you want it tested with notifications or with an app?
Im currently running the linked LOS img, the latest NikGapps Core and the latest magisk canary build, no further modifications on the system. For installing i followed the instructions besides using the latest official twrp build instead of the provided OrangeFox Recovery (i had problems mounting the data partition with that one) and i came from your latest LOS 18.1 build without formating the system partition or reinstalling realme ui
Thanks for all the great work. Can we expect a new release soon? Would love to wait for some initial bug fixes and new features such as face unlock.
Can't wait to try this ROM! I'm too busy lately to try and flash it, but i will soon! Keep up the good work
I can confirm that "Android System Intelligence app" keeps crashing an disabling it solves the issue for now. I think the confusion around Face Unlock not working stems from the fact that it is listed as a working feature in the original post. Also I seem to be limited to 60hz and smartcharge not working but I assume those will get fixed with the other Realme settings at some point. Other than that it is looking good, thanks for the great work!
Thanks for your instruction.
I have cleaned data, system and flashed this lineageOS and only faced the error "Failed to mount /metadata partition". NikGApps installation is OK.
Now, I'm stuck at Fastboot + OrangeFox recovery, I cannot boot into system.
Could you please help that what I should do for my x2pro to boot to the system?
Thanks
Can anybody else confirm that long press power button to turn on flashlight does not work? I can enable it under Settings - System - Buttons but it does not work.

My unofficial TWRP build:
Updated to handle A12+ encryption.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-odin/files/odin-twrp-3.7.0_12-1.img/download
My unofficial OrangeFox recovery:
Updated to handle A12+ encryption.
This is in the form of a flashable zip, boot into TWRP first and then install/sideload
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...eFox-A12.1-R11.1-Unofficial-odin.zip/download
Installation:
Install TWRP and reboot to recovery
Either copy zip to internal storage and install OR use adb sideload
Format data (wiping is not sufficient, formatting requires you to type "yes")
Reboot
Important notes:
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
MIUI 13 firmware is included in ROM zip, no need to flash it seperately.
Other notes:
The default camera in these builds is ANX camera. Everything is working (including 108mp mode) apart from HDR/Slowmo video recording.
Awesome!
求快更新,谢谢
Quick update
The current version 0517 is great, no obvious bugs, the system is quite stable, minor issues with the ANX camera can wait for subsequent updates.
If any newcomer has finished brushing this rom, I would like to give some advice on how to improve the battery life.
After brushing.
1. modify the wifi detection parameters, you can solve the problem that when there is no WIFI outside the wall, the system will automatically switch to the phone network from the WIFI inside the wall.
adb shell settings put global captive_portal_mode 0
adb shell settings put global captive_portal_https_url https://www.google.cn/generate_204
2. it is recommended to install fridge (icebox), black threshold type of software, suppress the domestic software's self-start and background behavior, standby time will be significantly improved. I installed icebox, must be installed after the brush, through the device owner can be installed successfully, do not need to root. if you have been using a period of time, even if you delete a variety of accounts, you can no longer through the device owner way, at this time, only recovery restore the original factory, can be installed successfully.
3. display settings, select 60HZ refresh rate, and then install S20 Refresh Rate Control, mix4 can be used, set to 90HZ refresh rate, as opposed to 120HZ, in the experience of smooth picture at the same time, can save a little is a little.
btw, mix4 is really power hungry. 888 is the Fire Dragon.
Thank you! This Rom Runs very smooth, but how i get he Pedometer works ?

It most definitely supports 5G, I have 5G service on my device right now lol. Check your SIM card, I had a bug report about 5G working on MIUI but not on my ROMs, turns out that user didn't have a 5G compatible SIM card and MIUI was fake reporting 5G support.
What is updated with this release?
Which is the best way to Update this Rom without delete Storage?
Just sideload ZIP and flash?
Thanks
I've built TWRP 3.6.2 A12 branch and decryption is working. Untested other than making sure it boots and decrypts internal storage correctly. Use fastboot boot to run it and Advanced/Flash current TWRP to actually install it. If you find any bugs feel free to report them but bear in mind the whole TWRP A12 branch is currently WIP.
