[ROM][11.0][UNOFFICIAL] StagOS [Plate2] - Nokia 6.1 (2018) ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Othe

Hello!
I'm back and today I'm happy that I can bring you a new version of StagOS for Nokia 6.1, which is based on Android 11. I have this ROM flashed on my phone and it works pretty fine, but please be aware that this is an unofficial custom rom and even if I try my best to bring you a stable rom, however some minor bugs may occur.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are flashing this rom on your own responsibility! I'm not responsible for bricked devices... Please read the flashing instructions carefully.
Stag???
We are the StagOS, we aim at elegance, Material Design being at our core.
To start up Pure AOSP was the best option cause what's more better than android straight from Google.
Next we need those teensy weensy bits of customisations, like the clock could be to the right instead, what's the download speed... and such. So why leave these feelings empty.
With Stag we aim at giving a pure android experience fulfilling those small itches in the mind.
Don't forget, You need to grow your own Horns, Just kidding enjoy.

What is working:
Phone calls & messaging
Wi-Fi & Wi-Fi Hotspot
Mobile data
VoLTE and VoWiFi (if your carrier supports it)
Adaptive brightness
Flash Light
Fast charging
Dark theme, night mode
Fingerprint sensor
Face unlock
NFC
FM Radio
Bluetooth
GPS
and more...
Known bugs:
Offline charging works but shows only blank screen
Miracast - Wi-Fi Display - can't connect
ROM installation instructions:
IMPORTANT: It is necessary to resize system and vendor partition on your phone before flashing this rom! This step will perform format of system and vendor partition and even userdata partition so make a backup if you don't want to lose your data!
Please download this nice and user friendly Nokia Repartition Tool brought to you by Raghu Varma and look at this instructional video:
Just use the first option "3.5G S - 1G V" - it is enough for this rom.
NOTE: After resize your phone will be automatically booted to TWRP, but because this tool is intended for Nokia 6.1 Plus, this TWRP will refuse to flash ROM zip on 6.1. In this case just reboot to bootloader and download this TWRP for our Nokia 6.1, boot it and everything will be fine. Now you can begin flashing.
After booting to TWRP:
1) If you just resized your system and vendor partitions using Nokia Repartition Tool then you have already formatted userdata so you can skip this step, otherwise if you want to do a clean flash then please Format Data by typing yes, then go to the Bootloader and reboot TWRP
2) Flash latest ROM zip via TWRP
3) Switch to alternative slot (if you are on slot a switch to b if you are on b switch to a)
4) Reboot system
Now you are done!
NOTES: Gapps are already included, so don't flash them! It is recommended to update your stock ROM to Android 10 before flashing this custom ROM.
SafetyNet on latest StagOS builds passes out of the box, so you won't need root/Magisk anymore. Flash Magisk only in case that you really need to root your device.
October 2021 note: Because probably there will be no more official builds of StagOS for Nokia 6.1, I will post here from time to time my builds again.

I'm using it every day without any problems. In my experience, all the important features are working. However, it needs some deeper testing, for example I haven't used a video call yet, so I will appreciate your feedback... ;-)

Now I figured out that StagOS has its official releases for our Nokia 6.1 maintained by vjspranav!
Just Download Here.
So I won't post any more builds on my part, because it would be useless.

I am using this rom for 1 month. It is nearly perfect. But, I have a problem with the camera. I always can't save the photo (via default app or other apps). If I restart my phone, it will work well.
I don't know how to solve it.

slow charging

If you want ROOT just flash latest Magisk and if you want to use Google Pay with your credit/debit card, you need to do some additional steps to pass SafetyNet:
1) Flash latest Magisk package via TWRP
2) Open Magisk Manager App and turn on Magisk Hide in settings
3) In Magisk Manager go to Download and install these modules "Busybox for Android NDK" and "MagiskHide Props Config"
4) Read the instructions for correct setting up the module: https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/MagiskHidePropsConf/blob/master/README.md
5) I recommend to use custom fingerprint for our device by creating file named "printslist" in the ROOT of your internal storage with this line:
Code:
Nokia 6.1 (10):Nokia:6.1 (2018)=Nokia/Plate2_00WW/PL2_sprout:10/QKQ1.190828.002/00WW_4_15N:user/release-keys__2021-03-01
6) Run su command in terminal and then props command (or use adb shell) and set the custom fingerprint.
Reboot device and Enjoy!

The Alpha release was experimental and was not meant for the general public, but still recieved an overwhelming response. This new Beta version is free of most bugs encountered earlier and is suitable for everyone to get a taste of SailfishOS on their phone.
Read the installation instructions carefully.
Changelog from Alpha -->
* Bluetooth fixed.
* Audio now works out of the box.
* Camera Resolutions updated.
* Flash now works in Camera.
* Settings app now shows settings for cellular networks.
* FM-Radio now supported. ( Highly Experimental. Read the FM-Radio section below )
* Stand-by time vastly improved.
* Basic Jolla apps are now pre-installed. ( Before anyone talks about bloatware, you got the option to uninstall them)
* Warehouse, the community appstore is now pre installed.
Sailfish OS’s heritage lies in Nokia times, especially in the MeeGo operating system. Prior to 2011 Nokia and Intel had a vision of an open mobile operating system. Together they invested around 1 billion USD to the project and created an open source based operating system called MeeGo, which was used as a basis for several devices, such as the iconic Nokia N9. Although the Nokia N9 became the beacon of open source operating systems, Nokia decided to end the project and chose instead to continue with Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS. The rest of that is another story.
For more information about SailfishOS click here.
SailfishOS has now been successfully ported to Redmi 2 and here I am sharing the steps to install it on your phone.
Code:
Disclaimer: Your warranty is now void. You will lose all your data on your phone and may render it unusable. This software is provided as is without any warranty of any kind whatsoever. The user shall solely be reponsible for any consequence arising out of following this guide. I, or anyone else shall not be held responsible for bricked devices, dead sd-cards, thermonuclear war, you getting fired because the alarm app failed or any other consequence of following this guide. The linked zip contains some proprietary files.
tl;dr I wont be held responsible for any unfortunate incidence.
Prerequisites -->
1) Latest TWRP recovery installed (Others may work too but I haven't tested). You can get it here-->http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/development/recovery-recovery-built-source-inside-t3277621
*Note that the Cyanogenmod version is now changed.
2) cm-12.1-20160318-UNOFFICIAL-wt88047 zip by kumajaya. You can get it from his google drive link here--> http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/development/rom-cyanogenmod-unofficial-builds-t3200883
3) SailfishOS zip file. Download link given below.
This is not an Android ROM and thus the instructions to install are quiet different. Follow them carefully.
1) Boot to recovery. Wipe cache, dalvik-cache, system and data.
2) Copy the Downloaded files to the sdcard via USB.
3) Install cm-12.1-20160318-UNOFFICIAL-wt88047. Do NOT reboot after installing.
4) Install SailfishOS zip file. The installation will take around 10 minutes so don't think that its stuck. Ignore any errors about being unable to mount data partition.
5) Reboot System when installation succeeds.
Notes-->
1) This is not an Android ROM. Android apps will not work right now. But a way for Android apps to work is available but will take quiet some time before it gets on our device.
2) Root access (using devel-su in terminal) requires a password which can be set in Settings>Developer Options.
3) For advanced users, you can ssh into the device after setting a password in Developer options using ssh [email protected] over USB.
4) Do not register for a Jolla account. You will get an error about failed IMEI registration. This will be fixed as soon as Jolla allows ported devices to be registered.
5) The Store will not work. It needs a Jolla account. You can however use the openrepos warehouse for installing apps.
6) MTP over USB does not work.
7) Battery drains faster if screen is ON. Better than alpha but still needs improvement.
FM-Radio -->
You can play FM-Radio now but it is experimental.
Plug in your headphones and launch the PirateFM app for radio.
if it won't start, open terminal and use "harbour-piratefm" to start it.
Once the app starts, it should show a frequency. If its stuck at 0.0 MHz, then close the app(close, not minimise) and restart it again. It should show a frequency now. If you have echoing audio in the headphones, i.e. you hear your own voice in the headphones, then open terminal and " systemctl restart --user pulseaudio" and then try running the app again.
FM will not work through the speakers, and it also cannot be muted.
Download Link -->
The file has been named as alpha-2 because that is how it was initially intended but it would be better to designate this as beta since its almost stable.

I tried the first, alpha build, it was really really good, but can you please tell me how to install it as a secondary ROM havin it's own kernel via multiboot, as I was really tires of switching kernels everytime I had to switch between CM13 and SailFish.
I hope it's possible.
.
Also, will it not work with the latest, Lolipop Bootloader? (As i can make out from the "Required Firmware" section from OP)

Since the base cyanogenmod will not work with the lollipop bootloader, it cannot be done. Sailfish will work if a way to run the base cm over the lollipop bootloader is found.
As for the multiboot, I haven't tried it yet but take a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67519570&postcount=62 although it was already addressed to you.
@adeen-s well as per the updated devolvement for wt88047, CM now supports Lollipop bootloader. Can you please guide us through the process of having SFOS as secondary? Is it like installing any other secondaries?

Bugs
Hi, i love this os and hope android apps support is coming soon.
the bugs that i found is the music player seem to show the same mp3 file as 2 different file but one with correct duration and the other one is zero.
for problems, the battery draining quite fast :crying:
thank you for your hard work dev!!!
@adeen-s that means if i flash the rom as secondary having k loader, it'll work?
@adeen-s What a beautiful typographical OS with fluent transitions. Been using it with MultiROM keeping my previous primary RR 5.7.1 as secondary. Everything is pretty good on my side. Just animations are quite unfluent sometimes. And some USSD codes aren't showing when dialed. Like *143*0# and *400# on Aircel(404 91).
Using it, wow!

INSTALLATION
Put the zip file of the ROM on your sdcard or internal storage, boot into recovery and flash. When coming from stock: boot into TWRP, format data, reboot to recovery and wipe all internal partitions. Then flash the ROM, GApps (if needed) and root (if needed).
Note: There is not going to be a LOS su addon anymore. If you need root, flash a root manager of your choice. No guaranteed support from LOS for this.
When updating from builds, simply dirty flash the ROM.
If coming from 17.1, please see advice below in second post ("UPGRADE LINEAGEOS").
KNOWN ISSUES
WFD is not working yet (waiting for new non-BSP blobs)
Stock camera is not working anymore due to incompatibility of stock library (libimageprocessorjni.so) with new libgui

SECURITY ADVICE
Don't flash ROMs or Magisk modules which set SELinux to permissive or you welcome malware on your device!
UPGRADE LINEAGEOS
I have not tried upgrading the device from 17.1 and cannot guarantee that it will work - you should do a backup just in case. If things go wrong, flash it as if coming from stock (see instructions in OP).
The following steps should work though:
Flash new twrp and boot into it
Flash new rom, opengapps and any updated root solution you use
Optional: Clear cache
Reboot
Note: When updating form Lineage 17.1, you maybe have to once change your preferred network type from 3g back to 4g/LTE.
UPGRADE FIRMWARE
Grab the Sony Stock firmware using e.g. XPeriFrim. You should always flash the firmware matching the LOS build.
Grab newflasher and put it in the same folder as the firmware files.
Read the newflasher original post on XDA for general instructions!
Remove the following from the folder so they won't get flashed:
all *.ta files (keep the one in the boot/ directory)
cache*.sin
fotakernel*.sin
kernel*.sin
system*.sin
userdata*.sin
vendor*.sin
Turn off your phone
Hold the volume down button and attach it via USB to your system till you see LED turning green
Run newflasher from within this directory to flash the remaining files
You can say yes to the first optional step, in case you don't have working drivers installed.
Skip the second optional step (dumping of trim area), it's useless if your bootloader is unlocked already and takes a long time.
How to get root?
As mentioned before, there will not be an official su addon from LOS anymore. If you need root, flash an unofficial solution.
Google Apps
You can download and install the Google Apps from opengapps.org. You need ARM64 and 11.x. I suggest to *always* use the pico or nano package. If you need additional apps you find them in the Play Store.
Open GApps for Android 11 is still in beta. You can download those releases here
MicroG
This ROM doesn't support Signature Spoofing. However we are watching MicroG and check if they provide newer builds e.g. for Android 11.

Unfortunately, I am not sure there is much that we can do. The stock library that we need for the stock camera app to work properly (libimageprocessorjni.so) is not liking the new Android 11 libgui. We (also with the help of @j4nn ) tried to fix these issues in various ways, including shimming and forcing the use of the 10 libgui but haven't managed to get it working properly yet. Maybe we'll have a crack at it again at some point, but I wouldnt get my hopes up too much. It also doesn't help that the XZ2/3 series is not getting an official Android 11 update. Opencamera is a decent alternative, although it does lack some of the stock camera options.

Happy birthday. I hope you enjoy
Oh nice, and I just got the device today (new and unopened) but for some reason I can't flash it to a different or use even the official tool from Xperia to "repair" my software.
First thing I'll do after upgrading will be checking this rom.
Thank you a lot!
Hello, nice job.
Smooth fresh install rom+Nikgapps, everyhing works nice,
but time to time phone call was inposible - calling stops in a 0 seconds. But i still was able receive phone calls. After receiving call - i can make a call for few times.Sorry can't provide any logs - use this phone as my main daily device, so quickly return to my previous rom (resurrection remix 8.6.4), where everything running well.

It's just working fine here with opengapps beta. Mostly likely nikgapps broke dialer app.

I have added support for both of these internally, so a custom OEM should not be needed anymore. I know at least of one person where it's working on maple. is it not working for you?

Thank you again for your reply.

Gesture Navigation (1st option) seems buggy sometimes especially while playing game bottom bar appears in center & (in landscape) bottom screen touch not response.

Project Sakura is a custom ROM based on Lineage OS, It tries to remain true to it while also providing some more functionality and UI changes. Its sole purpose is to provide a platform that is powered by Lineage and is more customisable than Lineage.

Code:
* Your warranty is now void.
* We are not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone by installing any custom ROMs and/or kernels.
* You do it at your own risk and take the responsibility upon yourself and you are not to blame us or XDA and its respected developers.
"This is a user-friendly thread, all your suggestions are important to us and will be taken into consideration."
CLEAN/FIRST TIME FLASH :
- Download the Build (GApps Included)
- Reboot to recovery (Almost any recovery would work)
- Take backup (optional)
- Flash your firmware(If required)
- Factory Reset
- Reboot To Recovery
- Flash the ROM (Using TWRP/OFox recommended)
- Reboot to Recovery (Lineage OS Recovery should appear)
- Reboot to system
- Enjoy
UPDATE/DIRTY FLASH :
- Download the Build [to PC/SDCARD if using Lineage OS Recovery]
- Take backup (optional)
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash your firmware(If required)
- Flash the ROM.zip [ADB Sideload if using Lineage OS Recovery]
- Reboot to system
- In case this results in bootloops, clean flash again (that's why I asked to take a backup prior to updating)
- Enjoy
OVER-THE-AIR (OTA) UPDATE :
Make sure you're using Lineage OS Recovery, it may not work with other recoveries. If even after following proper steps here, it says "Update Failed" or something, report to me [READ MORE]. Check if OTA is mentioned as a bug in the post below.
- Take backup (optional)
- Go to Settings > Sakura Configs > Sakura Updates > System Updates
- You can check for updates by clicking the update icon on the top-right
- If there are no updates found, check you are asked to clean flash in our Official Project Sakura Updates Channel, if yes, follow the first guide to clean flash, if not, after making sure that you have a proper internet connection, try rebooting the system. If still says not found, follow the Update guide on top.
- After the updater finds the update, click on Download, and hold the update if you want to switch mirrors.
- Let the update download and once it is done, it should inform you thru notification
- Once it is done, click on install and it should start installing, this does take longer than flashing it manually, but here we can go back and continue doing what you want to do, while it is updating. Maybe go continue the movie you were watching.
- Once that is done, select Reboot and... Tada, you're in the latest version of Project Sakura.
- In case this results in bootloops, clean flash again (that's why I asked to take a backup prior to updating)
NOTE: While ADB Sideloading, if the installation process reports the message (~47%) adb: failed to read the command: No error, do not worry, the process was completed successfully and you can restart the device. )

Existing Device Side Bugs (On build released on 12/10/2021)
[Updated on 13th October 2021]
- You tell me
If you think the bug is source side and NOT device side, skip the rest of the post and read the official Project Sakura Wiki and also report in Project Sakura Official Telegram Chat
How to [properly] report bugs?
What do I do when I encounter a bug?
Support Group
Check if you are getting the issue, every time you do something, or if it is a one time issue
Report it on our Telegram Group with all the information you think is important and look if its a known issue or is there a fix already
Get to know if others are reporting it too, refer to XDA and/or Telegram Group
If you are rooted/using a custom kernel, try unrooting and switching between kernels or switch back to the stock kernel. If using a different kernel fixed your issue, report it to me in my Telegram Group or leave a reply here.
If the issue persists, take a back up then format data via recovery [clean flash]
If the issue still persists, take logs when the issue occurs [Click me for guide] and report with all the information you think is important (like, did you face this in the previous version, is this a bug in many other ROMs too, what have you tried till now, how do I replicate your issue on my device)
If you have not faced the issue in the previous build, then feel free to go back to that if you want to.
If you report saying "Youtube crash" without properly following the procedure above, your bug report shall be ignored, instead say "Youtube app crashes on my phone when I am trying to watch a video at 4k 60fps, I have dirty flashed this build from the exactly previous build thru OTA here are logs for the same" and give proper logs, you might as well get your bug fixed, it's not too hard to report bugs properly.

I have stuck with crdroid for a long time. I don't think I will be jumping to any other ROM anytime soon. MIUI, that is a hell no for me. Its too clunky and laggy, and you can tell as soon as you install it.
What latest firmware means required? My problem is I don't know how to get back on stock 12.0.5 . When I'm flashing on mi tool it say "metadata is not allowed on snaphotted state" and now I'm stuck at ancient rom which have anx camera

Sir thank you for reply but when I click fastboot.exe it will not show any cmd . I don't know why. I've installed sdk platform tools but nothing's happen
You need to give fastboot commands from within windows command prompt or terminal...

depends on the custom Rom... in any case you should backup your apps in case a clean flash (deleting all data) is required.

Are you sure Wifi is connected?
If yes, try a different package of Gapps or try to restore a older backup (/data only) from a different ROM, if you have. Also be aware, that our tablets cannot connect to Routers with WPA3.
This will be fixed in one of the next builds.

logcat and kernel logs. Also, the button for the camera is so low on the screen its cut off. I tried to make a phone call earlier, but it would just end the call immediately. Im able to get on the internet with 4G though

Hi. I´ve tested the Issues you mentioned.
The Camera App seems to be broken or has a wrong resolution. That´s nothing i can fix but i´ll report it to the devs. As a workaround install Open Camera. This App is working normal.
I tested phonecalls (in and out) with 4G and Edge. Both are working for me.
Maybe there´s an issue with your local provider. If the problem persists, i would suggest to dl ROM and Gapps again (maybe a file is corrupted), delete your ROM in TWRP + format /data and do a clean install of both, ROM and Gapps. Often this will fix those errors.
Your logcat is looking not too bad except a crash of firebase, what definetly could cause the trouble. But we´ll see it, if you´ve done a clean and fresh installation.

Hi @crazydrive22 . I'll take the opportunity and ask you a question of mine. I'm having trouble flashing any SM-T531 compatible roms. I will list the steps I followed.
1 - Flasing twrp with heimdall. At first I tried here: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxytab4101.html but ta off the link there.
I downloaded it here on the XDA forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-3-5-2_9-unified-matisse-millet-twrp-recovery.4019831/ ;
2 - full wipe and format;
3 - Flashing this rom (with or without gapps) Resulting: Loop in Samsung logo or should I wait too long?
Thanks for working.

3 - Flashing this rom (with or without gapps) Resulting: Loop in Samsung logo or should I wait too long?
Thanks for working.

Hi.
First boot can take a lot of time. If it's not booting i would suggest to flash Stock 5.0.2 and start again from scratch. It's nescessary to had 5.0.2 installed once to make sure, that the Bootloader is updated. The Bootloader from KitKat (4.x) is not working with LineageOS 9 or newer and it's forks like crDroid or Cypher. The TWRP from Matteo is good, it's the lastest one and working well. But i can't tell you anything about Heimdall. I'm using Odin only to flash Stock or TWRP.

Thanks for the answer, it must be the 4.4.x bootloader, I didn't even ask if I had the 5.x.x one, I'm flashing the 5.0.2 About haimdall. It's wonderful, a point that can be negative is that the process is more manual, you must select each file for its respective partition, the good thing is that with it you can capture the pit file, it is very rare for an error to occur except if there is a problem on the PC or cable. It works on Linux and Windows and Mac OS X. I will return with news.
This is working amazing on my SM-T530NU, far better than whatever Nook bloat that was running before.
Installed and tested in matisselte, very good rom, very fluid. Everything works perfectly,
I will continue using this rom, very happy with how it works.
I hope you continue with the updates. Great job

NOTE: It is recommended to update your stock ROM to Android 10 before flashing this custom ROM.
IMPORTANT: If you want to use GAPPS build, it is necessary to resize system and vendor partition on your phone before flashing rom! This step will perform format of system and vendor partition and even userdata partition so make a backup if you don't want to lose your data!
If you downloaded VANILLA build, you can skip this step and if you want then you can flash gapps of your choice.
1) If you just resized your system and vendor partitions using Nokia Repartition Tool then you have already formatted userdata so you can skip this step, otherwise if you want to do a clean flash then please Format Data by typing yes, then go to the Bootloader and reboot TWRP. (For dirty flash use adb sideload method because TWRP can not decrypt Android 12 userdata partition.)
2) Flash latest ROM zip via TWRP
3) Switch to alternative slot (if you are on slot a switch to b if you are on b switch to a)
4) Reboot system
Now you are done!
SafetyNet on latest PixysOS builds passes out of the box, so you won't need root/Magisk anymore. Flash Magisk only in case that you really need to root your device.
ROM: Sourceforge download linkAt the download page, you can choose GAPPS build (with Google play store and other apps included) or VANILLA build, which contains only basic apps without Google play store (in this case you can flash gapps of your choice).
Wi-Fi Hotspot works only without password. FIXED
Custom statusbar icon pack is reverted back to default after device reboot.

Hey, really appreciate your work!) Specific bug for your rom is inability to setup magisk, because stock rom recovery "Failed to clear BCB message" error, adb sideload method doesn't works in it too. If i flash boot TWRP, then I can't boot rom, it stucks on boot logo. General bugs for all roms, such as hanging vibration (12.1 bug), gcam, that after some time of use can't take photos are here. Again. thanks for your work!!
Hi, thanks for your reply! Magisk works on this ROM, I just tested the version 24.3.
You need to boot into TWRP (twrp-3.4.0-0-PL2_sprout-11.0-20200909.img), select adb sideload option and flash latest Magisk zip. Then reboot and check the magisk app. Now you are successfully rooted. ;-)
Note: If you are installing Magisk right after flashing rom, don't forget to switch slot first!
I tried to install magisk right after I installed rom. For example now I am on a slot B, rom is installed on slot A. Magisk would setup on current slot, not as rom, that would setup on inactive slot -> I need go to the A slot to setup magisk. If I try to do that through stock rom recovery on slot A, I get error, because ADB sideload isn't working. If I try to "fastboot flash "twrp"" on slot A, then I can install magisk, but I am stuck on the rom boot logo. If I try to use twrp install.zip file from TWRP on slot B, then I get would the same problem (boot logo) on slot A. ADB sideload is installing magisk in current slot, that's why I can't do it from slot B to setup magisk on slot A. It's a bit sadly. And the second question to you, why our community vendor has general GCam problem, that is on all roms? Maybe you can contact to developers of it to fix that problem? Because it's really shame bug)
Just tell me about the experience you had with the Rom. is it smooth or not
Magisk must be installed in the same slot as the ROM. I ttied it and it works for me.
GCam problem is probably related to vendor or kernel source. Because I'm using Lineage trees to build this rom, It must be fixed by LineageOS developers.
My experience wih rom is very good, don't expect smoothness as stock, but the fact that this is an Android 12, result is really good. Small lags are ocassionally present.
Gcam not working fix it

I know that magisk have to be installed in the same as rom slot. That's why I had problems with that. If you would fix stock rom recovery, then there are no problems would be)) Yeah, rom is pretty smooth, on my opinion it works as the 10 stock, but of course android 11 custom roms work better and that's absolutely normal)

If you tell me how to fix then I will do it. --- If you want perfect ROM then forget about custom and use stock.

I don't understand why to use stock recovery when we have TWRP.

OK, I didn't try to flash Magisk zip right after ROM flashing... I have fully configured ROM with installed apps etc. and in this state I booted into TWRP flashed Magisk zip and ROM normally booted, I just found Magisk in apps and everything worked. This is my experience.

Maybe) In my experience, if I flash TWRP after flashing rom the rom doesn't boot, at all. Maybe I have done something wrong, but any way, if you will fix the stock recovery, it would be better!)
I need to clarify this: You are trying to flash TWRP using twrp-installer zip? If yes then this will not work on Android 12 ROM!
Do this to temporary boot TWRP (in download mode):
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img <----- this command returns error because our phone does not have the recovery partition, but it is mandatory to execute this command first --- then:
fastboot boot twrp.img <----- this command temporary boots TWRP on your Nokia 6.1 and now is the right time to install Magisk...
I recommend THIS TWRP version, just download the file and rename to twrp.img.

I tried to use twrp installer first, it did not worked for me, then I tried to use fastboot flash boot method, that is recommended for this TWRP. Using both flash recovery and boot method is new for me, so maybe it will be ok. But flash boot method doesn't work. And yeah, I used recommended from you Raghu's TWRP.

Maybe would try later, thanks for your work!)
Is anyone able to check if Duo Mobile 2fa is working?
I did all the steps, installed the rom, It siad "Fhasing A/B Zip to ianctive slot: B" after I try to change the slot and reboot, it says no OS installed... Is anyone else having this issue?
I did the Nokia Partition Tool, rebooted to bootloader, booted into the 3.4 TWRP it suggested and did the steps, It still said the error and rebooted back into TWRP*
EDIT: I was redoing it for the 3rd time as I typed this message and it magically worked.
Just a request, if it isn't too much to ask for...
Would it be possible to provide a vanilla build too? Perhaps then the installation would fit on the device without repartitioning -- I have made a couple of observations that have made me arrive at this conclusion:
My experience with LineageOS 19 is that the build + MindTheGApps package fits on the stock system partition without the need for repartitioning.
On the official PixysOS downloads page, I see that the size difference between Android 12 vanilla and GApps builds for one of the devices is something like 600 MB.
I am downloading the build at this instant, and I'm going to try fiddling around with the system image to make it fit on my PL2 before resorting to repartitioning (because we all know how much of a pain that can be ). I intend to install it later in the day, so I don't yet have feedback on the build itself.
Cheers! And thanks for your effort and time!
EDIT: I must also add that for a) people who prefer to use only core Google apps like GMS and Play Store (e.g. myself), and b) people who do not want to use even core Google services, a vanilla build would be ideal.

I'll consider it, maybe from the next build I'll provide both versions.
