Is there any fix for the low volume issue after flashing a Custom rom? - Asus Zenfone Max M2 Questions & Answers

I recently flashed Styx rom (11) for my Max M2. After using the phone for a while i beleive something has happened to the sound. I can only listen clearly if i set the volume on max. Anything below feels too low.
Is this a common problem? And is there any fix for this?

The volume had lowered by us because of safety

The maximum Volume is too low

My volume isn't as loud as my previous phones.
Could it just be my phone?
Anyone suggest an apk that is safe to use without hurting the speaker.

Might be your speakers/headphones.
I've noticed that depending on what headphones I use, the volume is different.
On my phone, using earbuds, I have to keep the volume quite low actually. if its even 50% its too loud for my ears.

[Q] Low in call volume

I've looked around, and while I've found similar threads in MotoX, I havent found anything similar for the Samsung S3. Ever since I upgraded to android 4.4.2, my in-call volume has been very low. Unless I'm in a quiet room, I am unable to hear a thing. My speaker is fine, as is the volume on a head set, but the volume from the ear phone is very low. Has anyone encountered this recently, and if so, what was the fix? I've tried changing ROMs, going back to 4.3, etc, but nothing seems to reverse the problem.
Thanks all!

Any recommendation? I used boeffla, but unfortunately that only changes the volume for headphones and the rear speaker, not the ear speaker

Headphone volume too loud after Oreo update, Verizon V30

My favorite thing about the V30 is the quad dac because when enabled it gives you volume control in 1% increments. My hearing is sensitive, i will normally listen to music at a volume of 5 or less.
However, after the Oreo update, volume of 1 is too load. I have the quad dac enabled, and have the gain set to -6db (minimum) on both channels. I have tried different "filters" and sounds presets. Didn't help. I have tried disabling the quad dac, this only makes it go loader because now it adjusts in 5% increments.
Has anyone else noticed this change? If no one else had noticed this I will try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, i can go back to using an inline volume slide adjustment to reduce volume.
Thanks!
PS: I know most people will probably be happy about the volume increase and it was probably done for this reason. I understand I am likely an outlier on preferred volume levels.
Just an updated.
This was a fluke. I restarted my phone and the volume levels returned to what they were before instead of being elevated.

Made a post and solved it yourself! Reminds me of the football play where the quarterback threw the ball to himself and got a touchdown.

Sound dips after a minute of music playback

My speaker got distorted within warranty and I got it changed but this happened before too, while playing music the sound would dip automatically and not come back up till I paused or the song ended.
The problem became persistent day by day and then distorted.
Now after changing the speaker, the problem is all over repeating itself.
Please help me.
same plroblem with me..
Are you using Viper4android and have enabled bass or other settings? For me sound increases on earphones (since i have enabled this on magisk) after some time.

No I am not using any kind of sound mod.
I was afraid that using anything will worsen the condition.
I am talking about the speaker volume, earphones volume does not change for me.
Please try to play loud music for about 5 to 6 minutes, you may notice the change somewhere in between, and when I pause for 2 seconds and play again the volume restores but the dip happens again after some time.
The duration before the dip continues to get reduced with time. ?

My phone have the same problem. it is because of phone using earpiece as second speaker. The loudspeaker is good enough to play loud sound. But the second speaker (earpiece) is not powerful enough. So volume decreases itself to avoid damaging the earpiece speaker. If someone finds a way to disable earpiece speaker, Then loudspeaker can get very loud and there will be no distortion or decrease in volume by itself.

So there is no solution for us yet, although not all are complaining with us.
Doesn't this happen with everyone?
Just the armored edition?
I have noticed the problem isn't there on mi8 port of miui 11 on android 10 for miroom.
Can someone confirm?
But there is memory leak on that rom, ram consumption is at it's peak and gets slow if not restarted.

I have the same problem before. its because of dust i think, after i gave it for a display replacement at authorized service center, they cleaned everything and replaced display. after that the problem is solved. and they didn't replaced the speaker. my advice is to go to service center and get it serviced.
