Try going into the market and uninstalling it then reinstall if that fails try emailing the developer often they can shoot you an apk or release an update.

I downloaded bloat freezer and I froze it. Isn't that the same thing?
Go into titanium back up, then go to back up and restore. Scroll down and you'll find sprint id 1.?.?.? Press it and you can freeze or uninstall it.

Freezing it saves the app to restore later if need be. Uninstalling it removes it permanently.

Sprint ID is w_intaller.apk (or close to that anyway) in the system/app folder. If you remove it prior to triggering any downloads it's pretty straight forward to delete it. You will need to be rooted as you said you were. It's at the very bottom of the list.
Hope this helps.
you guys r quick lol u beat me to it. I did find out it is named sprint id. i had the thought stuck in my head of what sdx stock app remover was displaying for apps an i didnt find sprint id. For future reference an i take no credit for this... it is in fact named exactly as the app itself, sprint id. i used titanium an backed it up an uninstalled it an all is well. thanks for the prompt help guys. i hit the thanks button for ya both
No problem, glad you got it worked out.

is it safe to freeze 'sprint installer'?
Should be fine to freeze it. If it acts funny or effects the phone functioning you can always unfreeze it.

If you Root Explorer the apk is actually named w_installer.apk (or close to that, I pulled it out right away and don't remember the exact spelling). Titanium actually gives you actually name of the app not the name of the actual apk itself.
Also keep in mind that Sprint ID is tied into the stock launcher. Usability may be affected.
Does anyone have the apk backed up? I really need to put Sprint ID back in my phone before I sell it. Tried to flash a different sbf with rsd to get it back but it wouldnt work
I'll see how far I can get just using my Photon.
UPDATE: Here's a download link! http://db.tt/PJDYuhDo

If you do a factory reset first, then flash 154_5 it should put it back.

Sms app idea

Wouldnt it be great if there was a sms ringtone app that is dynamic! Like when you get a new sms it says "you have a New message" and if you dont read it and gets another one it says "you got two New messages"!!
What do you think?

Why don't you enable driving mode from settings menu? it will say who calls you, tell you about messages, and a lot more.

App force stops when not in use

Okay, so I use Kik messenger.. and its one of those apps that are supposed to stay open at all times so you can get messages without having to open the app.. but since I cant get my bootloader unlocked, i used cwm and just restored a stock version of ics 10g, the app has to be opened periodically, or i wont get messages without actually opening the app cause im pretty sure the app is getting force stopped some how.. any idea how to stop this from happening?
Anyone know?
Try uninstall and reinstall.
