Fonts problem with Xiaomi ☹️ - Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Questions & Answers

I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.
I have noticed that, after I changed font size, font sizes under icons are not even anymore.. Longer titles are written in smaller font size, shorter titles are in bigger size.

[Q] increase font and icon size - SOLVED

I know it has been asked but i don't see any good answers.
I want to make icons and text a big bigger.... the screen density is nice, but if i want just 4 rows, then i would like my icons a bit bigger.
It seems SweeterHome 2 is the only option, but it doesn't have a Dock and the learning curve is steep.
Any ideas?
ADW Launcher EX - the paid version lets you increase font size and icon size. I find it just looks better on the higher density screen and i still get to use the Moto widgets.

Change font size Touchwiz?

Hello there. Is it possible to change the font size on my phone? like within touchwiz or everything else?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I don't have a definitive answer but what I did was download one of the font packs which do have fonts in various sizes, relative to the default font.
there is an app called spare parts from the market, installed it but didn't try the font size option in it yet.
mvpeterson, u got a name for that font pack?
sevoflurane, I tried changing the font size in the app Spare parts, it sets the font size to what I want but when ca 10 minutes has elapsed the font size reverts back to its normal size. Trolling or what?
Bump. Also, please take a look at previous posts before posting.

You have to consider that the program is in beta, and some themes don't work so good.
Yup, we're still in beta.
We're working on icon scaling for a future version which will fix this issue. :victory:
Icons are small since Themer has a grid of 13x9 by default which makes the icons take less space. Change the grid size if you want bigger icons. But it will mess up the theme of course if you are using one.
Themer's icon size
The size of the icon also depends on the grid size. With other launchers, increasing the grid size will lead to icons becoming cropped, Themer makes them smaller.
What may help is increasing the grid size, to do this, go into: Themer Actions > Advanced > Desktop, and you can decrease the grid size from here. Take note that your widgets will be affected and will have to be resized accordingly. Hope this helps!

Change the display size

Hi!
I really want to change the display size in my Huawei Honor 9. But the only option I have to do this, is to change the dpi through the Developer setting.
I have already been able to activate text style through command prompt on my PC with the phone connected to it. I don't have my phone rooted. Is there a command for the Display size setting to be activated, too?
You mean one hand mode ?
You mean 5x6 or 4x6 desktop icons scheme ?
You mean bigger icons ?

No. I mean to change the size of the display: smaller, small, normal, large, larger. I think it's called View Mode in Huawei Mate 10.
You mean font size ? size of your text ?

No? Please read what I am writing! Text Size already exists in my Honor 9, but not View Mode / Display Size.

Always on display

Is there a way to enlarge the font size in the AOD? I like an easier to see clock at 0dark30. Or maybe an app? Thanks!

Install the Good Lock App from the Galaxy Store and a module called "Clockface" to get a more extensive selection of clock faces and fonts for AOD and Lock Screen.

Tried that but it doesn't let me enlarge the text. Only change colors. At least on the ones I like. Am I missing something.

There are different clock faces with different fonts and font sizes. I'm afraid you can't change the size of the font of a specific clock face. They "might" release other clock faces with a font size you want or you can create a custom clock with the "existing" font templates. You can also try to contact the developer and suggest that they add the font size functionality you want.
