Installation
This ROM is currently distributed as factory images, similar to stock. Flash it the same way you would flash stock factory images. Don't forget to wipe all data using "fastboot -w" before booting the ROM.
Firmware is included, so there is no specific requirement for which version of the stock ROM you are coming from.
You can also use the quick & easy web installer, which allows you to install and update the ROM from any computer or phone without using the command line. The installer works entirely within your web browser and completes in as little as 4 minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection. Consider using the web installer instead of installing manually.

It's in the FAQ: https://protonaosp.kdrag0n.dev/faq#usb-mode

ROM is great. No issues here.

There is another issue : when I use the video call application, every 2 minutes of connection, the call is interrupted. How to resolve it?

That was reported recently and has already been fixed for the next version.

But when the next version comes out, is there a way to fix it while waiting for the next version?

Hello, is it safe to use it with a custom kernel like Sultan or Kirisakura? I used to have pretty good battery life using stock rom and Kirisakura kernel. Will it break some optimisations that you made if we flash another kernel? Thank you!

Yes, custom kernels will work. Nothing should break, but please don't report custom kernel issues to us.

Hi I jst upgraded my Pixel 2 for a Pixel 4, I used ProtonOS on my Pixel 2 too.
I have a question, are you working on fixing the face unlock registration set-up? It keeps failing when I try to register my face.

Downloaded it to check if it could replace my secondary browser I currently use.
One small thing I noticed is, that you cannot have incognito tabs.
There is one bug that is crashing the app, here is how to reproduce it:
Open settings, try to scroll with your beginning touch of the swipe on either one of the ListPickers. App crashed 3 out of 4 times trying.
You should look into setting
Code:
e.Handled =true;
in "Application_UnhandledException" in App.xaml.cs.
This would prevent the app from crashing on minor bugs that the user would not even notice.
I think I encountered the same bug in one of my apps. No way to catch it, since it's caused by the wptoolkit.
(Though you might also want to log these errors to make sure there are no other unhandled exceptions crashing your app, that can be prevented by you)

Seems good so far, but I can't really judge a browser with only a few minutes usage. I'll use it for a few days and get back to you, if I find things that I really like/don't like/are missing compared to other browsers.
One thing I noticed though that would probably cause some bad ratings is, that I could not find a feedback or contact the developer button. That will cause users to give a lower rating when they have to report a problem via reviews/ratings. You will probably still receive some of those but most users with problems will use a feedback button and write you an email when they have a problem if you provide the means. This also gives you the possibility to respond to such questions/problem reports/feature requests.
You will receive feedback from stupid users that are simply to dump to find/use a feature, but this way you can respond and avoid an unneccesary bad rating.

I have found one issue, with the phone app. When I try to call someone it doesn't show the call being forwarded,so you can't end the call. And When I am called I can't pick up since there is no prompt for accepting or rejecting call. A problem with the Google dialer maybe.

Wait what XD. Never experienced this bug. Maybe a charging cable issue? Also, there are two cameras included. GCam isn't as stable as stock by a long shot, so use stock if GCam crashes too much.
Also abt Gear Wearable. Since I extensively debloated this ROM, it is possible I removed something that I shouldn't have. Not to worry, I will release an update next month (Not now because of exams)

Im back on my old 9.0 rom and everything is working just fine, i dont know what the issue was here, but ill check the update when its ready thanks!
Please add Adapt Sound feature if possible in a future build.
Fast, smooth and stable rom. But it has really bad battery usage. The older one(teampixel oreo) vas great at battery usage.
Also i can't find the "Power saving mode". There is no toggle in notification bar and i cant find a way to enable it in settings menu. Anyyone know is it possible to use Power saving mode on this rom?

Hello! The reason battery life was significantly better on Oreo was due to Oreo having a fully working Phantom Kernel! At this point, I'm just waiting for an update to that kernel, so that I can incorporate it, into the ROM, along with adapt sound, Dual Messenger, Gear 360 bug fix and Screen Write (Samsung Capture) since that it the only "useful" Note Feature that can't just be simply added back. I'll also be incorporating a few tweaks here and there to improve performance where possible! Keep an eye out for V1.1

Ota problem is from recovery, and we are waiting to be fixed
About OTA most custom ROMs have to wait until recovery goes official or had tweaks to let it happen so have patience. Now about bugs is highly recommended to provide logcats so Dev can look on it and fix it.
Going to test this ROM once my bootloader is unlocked to share my opinions.
Keep the good work!
idk if it was for only me but it was bit laggy and call volume hadn't (when you call someone, you can't hear hes/shes voice and they can't hear your voice). now I'm back on miui

I found that this is the only official rom at the moment. It's very good. It comes with gapps. If you brush opengapps11test in twrp, "error: 70" will appear, and the same is true for nikgapps. So I hope the author can optimize, I will always test this rom, and try my best to feedback all the bugs encountered to you. The only thing is to flash into this rom, you must update all the apps to fully experience gms after booting. It seems that I have not found the function of NFC. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Making an assumption that this is the follow-on forum for PE 11(from PE+ 10). If that assumption is correct, HOORAY and congrats. Look forward to working with PE 11 (been using the PE11 beta for 2+ months now and it's really stable and seems to work great). Appreciate your efforts.

So far, it seems stable and reliable. I did have a minor problem installing...I tried to do a dirtly flash (over the March PE 11 beta). It appeared to work but I had flakey problems after the first reboot and they got worse as time went on...My dirty flash was just initializing dalvic and cache. I personally wouldn't recommend trying that based on my issues.
My second try was to wipe Data, Dalvic and Cache, and that (clean flash) seems to have worked fine. Everything I've tried (so far) has worked properly and everything seems stable. Pain in the neck to reconfigure all apps and screens but it seems to be working properly...I did use a restore from Google backup to re-establish most apps and local files (photos, etc) and they all came thru properly. It was just the layout of the (3) screens of icons, and app configuration (passwords, etc) that took some time.
S
PS: it is still beta, so if you're not comfortable with tweaking/adjusting/going with the flow, you might be better off to wait...YMMV
nices
Smooth AF and Volte working!
Damn this is good Rom dude!!
Found a minor difference and was wondering if it's a "feature" , bug, or something else...
I used to have the current local temperature on my lock screen just below the time, on the same line as any upcoming alarms. It is now missing. I still have the alarms, but no temperature. I can't remember when it showed up (several releases ago I think), and also can't remember if it was put there by a setting or app. Anyone have any ideas?
After more research, this appears to be a "feature" of the AOSP variant of PE (the version that PE 10 wound up being). Therefor, can this be added to PE 11...Please.
Thanks
S

When you say not booting...taking a long time for the first reboot after install is normal (takes 2+ minutes) Are you getting to the boot animation(bouncing dots)? If not, there may be a problem with your download. If it's getting to the animation, let that go for a while (way longer than a regular reboot). Good luck.

PS: it is still beta, so if you're not comfortable with tweaking/adjusting/going with the flow, you might be better off to wait...YMMV

Sorry, but this appears to be the closest thing to an official v11 follow-on to PE 10. I'll leave it to ZJRDroid to make the decisions of what to inlcude or not.

Nope, you can find official PE v11 on https://download.pixelexperience.org/potter or on Potter's Telegram group. This is PPUI, a different ROM.

i think, inbuilt app lock has some issues with stability. i mean app lock works fine but after enabling lock for few apps the os was not stable, it just hangs, os works fine again if only i reboot from recovery mode. normal reboot/system don't work
Very nice work by @ZJRDroid as usual.
Attached some screenshots since I couldn't find it anywhere.
VoWiFi does not work with T-Mobile USA and its MVNOs.
I enabled VoWiFi in settings, set it to Wi-Fi only, but it still use cellular connection. The same is true if I set to "Wi-Fi preferred" .
Stock ROM (Android 8.1) works correctly with VoWiFi.
Both tested with T-Mobile USA and Tello (T-Mobile's MVNO) SIM cards.
VoLTE works without problems.

Question Android 12 - Indian 2101 version , OnePlus Nord 2

Hey , did anyone install Android 12 (beta) for OnePlus Nord 2 given from "Oxygen Updater" apk ? It can be download full zip package and kudos for that the rollback Android 11 zip package (A19 vs) only for Indian version .
Name is OOS12 Open Beta 1 , not suitable for Pac-Man Edition .
Nope. I have the EU version Nord 2 and so I'm not going to mess with it. But I would have downloaded it in a hearbeat had they released it for the EU model.
Ok , me as well .
But here are some features we can expect :
OOS12 Open Beta 1 changelog (Nord 2)
System
Newly added Smart Battery Engine, a feature that prolongs battery life based on smart algorithms and biomimetic self-restoration technology
Optimized AI System Booster to 2.1 for your system to run smoothly even when the load is high
Optimized desktop icons with improved textures, by using a design inspired by brand-new materials and uniting lights and layers
Optimized Extra HD, a feature that can significantly enhance image and video resolutions
Dark mode
Dark mode now supports three adjustable levels, bringing a more personalized and comfortable user experience
Shelf
New additional style options for Cards, making data contents more visual and easier to read
Newly added access to OnePlus Scout in Shelf, allowing you to search multiple contents on your phone, including Apps, Settings, Media Data, etc
Newly added OnePlus Watch Card in Shelf, to easily glance at your health status
Work-Life Balance
Work-Life Balance feature is now available to all users, allowing you to effortlessly switch between Work and Life mode via quick settings
WLB 2.0 now supports automatic Work/Life mode switching, based on specific locations, Wi-Fi network, and time, also bringing customized App notification profiles according to the personalization
Gallery
Gallery now allows you to switch between different layouts with a two-finger pinch gesture, intelligently recognizing the best-quality pictures, and cropping the thumbnail based on the content, making the gallery layout more pleasing
Canvas AOD
Canvas AOD brings you new diverse styles of lines and colors, for a more personalized lock screen experience with inspiring visuals
Optimized software algorithm and improved face recognition to better identify the features and skin color of different figures
Games
Newly added the HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer
There are also known issues in this build, which we have reproduced below for your convenience:
You might be unable to use Face Unlock in the dark after turning on Brighten screen in dim light through Settings.
Fortnite will crash when playing the game.
Additionally, OnePlus warns that "some features of the Pac-Man edition may disappear after upgrading this build", so you shouldn't install this beta if you own a Pac-Man edition Nord 2.
Although you may be hyped by OxygenOS 12 now being available for your device, do remember that this is beta software (as proven by known issues list) and that as such, you accept any risks by installing this update. Furthermore, you're expected to report bugs to OnePlus directly via community app. Do also mind that switching back to stable OxygenOS 11 at any point will require a full data wipe, so don't get excited and jump into OB1 without considering all its pros and cons.
The Nord 2 was released only in EU & India. Note that there's no link for EU yet. If you don't want to wait, you can crossflash to India from the app itself (just select the "India" device). However, we advise patience. We will update this article if OnePlus posts links for EU.
So another piece of **** software upgrade with general Android 12 additions. What a huge disappointment. They probably have the Indian version first because they've hired 1 Indian to make it compatible. As soon as I get a quiet moment, I'll probably custom ROM it and swap it out for a different brand before I install the beta garbage.
"There are also known issues in this build, which we have reproduced below for your convenience", For our convenience... great laughs were had.
Does anybody here have any hope at all for this phone in the coming future? Especially because the Nord 3 is already spotted **shakes my head**
