Question Unlock Bootloader - what happend when date missed - Redmi Note 10

Hi,
I have requested bootloader unlock.
The waiting period ends on Thursday at 02 a.m.
Do I have to unlock exactly at that time?
What happens if I make it on Thursday at 08 A.M.?
Does the waiting period then start all over again?
Thanks...

I think you can unlock it anytime after the waiting time ends.

Which I can confirm it , I had unlocked it after 1 month and it required only 168 hours.

You can unlock bootloader at any time once wait period is over.

Bootloader successfully unlocked.
Can it be that I no longer get MIUI updates?
Before I unlocked the bootloader, I had MUI 12.5. Now after the factory reset I have 12.0.9 again.
But there would be no updates available

Unlock does not block OTA updates.
Not your previous update version 12.0.5 (12.5 does not exist)?
This is not a version of Miui but an update version.

Ok... maybe I'm wrong. I thought it was 12.5...
Anyway. Good to know.
Thank you

[Q] Bootloader question

Hey guys/and the few gals here,
If im to unlock my bootloader and install the leaked version of GB, when it actually is released will i still get the prompt to update my phone? Also is there a way to lock the bootloader again, would it just be flashing back to an older FW thats out or how would it work?
you will get the update much quicker being unlocked because you can guarantee the instant the OTA drops it will be posted everywhere and peopel will be flashing it.
if you dont unlock, it takes weeks to actually get rolled out to each device.
so if you want the OTA fastest, its better to be unlocked.

Once unlocked, always unlocked.
You may get bugged about the update, but I am betting you won't, (lets just say I researched it), if on the leaked 4.5.91.
I would go with Kenneth Penn's 4.5.91/2.3.4 beta 4.5.
so if i unlock NEVER NEVER do OTA updates just come here for it and it wont ask me to do an OTA update or will i keep getting that annoying pop up like every hr?

Not true! 4.1.57 and 4.1.83 came out a couple of days after the SOAK tests for them ended! Timing was about the same as this one is going. I'm betting on a 2.3.* release by end of next week
Also, I have got all my updates the first day they have been released. Very few people wait long for the update to be available. Some do, but many of these people have errors with their IMEI in the databases preventing updates. Also, many of them are modded and don't realize they have to be stock to get updates/upgrades.

Depends...............in some of the previous releases people have been bugged for the OTA after flashing the service sbf to update.
Oh, and for clarification, 2.3.* will be an upgrade, while 4.1.57 and 4.1.83 were updates.
Now, since this voids the warranty on the phone, if im paying for insurance on the phone through ATT and if i unlock the bootloader will they still take it back if anything happens to it??

im curious on this too. If the rumor is true with the OTA gingerbread unlocking the bootloader..will that be considered warranty void?

no, you will still be able to recieve over the air updates, you will have to reflash stock recovery, reflash back to stock rom, then update your phone via over the air update, reflash custom recovery back and reroot your phone...excluding how long the update takes to download and assuming you know what you're doing it should not take more than 20 minutes.
word of caution, we still don't know too much about the update...so I would wait until developers confirm everything before doing an over the air update when it comes out...sometimes doing over the air, changes things and you won't be able to go back...for example it might take a while to get root again, or get a custom kernel, etc etc. always wait for developers here to give the ok to update and read before doing an Over the air update!
Good to know am not screwed.
I Just unlocked the bootloader and have not rooted the phone yet. I decided to wait until after ics comes out.
Can I take ics update normall? Do I need to relock my nootloader?
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G
Or you can wait for a Custom ICS ROM from one of the few developers for the Amaze. #patientlywaiting

previously we havn't had to lock the bootloader to get over the air updates, but you can never know about the future...i'm guessing you still won't have to...even if you do...it's not a hard process its just a one line code "fastboot oem lock" and you can unlock again just like you did before

7.23.502.1 - Lollipop RUU

On 3/31/15 AT&T released a 2 stage update for the One M7 - Details here
I was not able to get the small 5.13.502.3 update so i have removed the link to the 2nd part. Having only the second part can only damage your device so no need to leave it here.
I'll leave the Stock Recovery in case you need it.
As requested the Flash-able Radio is here >> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934553817
Here is the RUU.EXE from HTC >> http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_...06_10.46.1718.01L_release_424933_signed_2.exe
and here's the Rom.zip from the 7.23.502.1 RUU here >> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934550030
Normal fastboot gives errors please use the htc_fastboot from the RUU here >> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934550031
htc_fastboot oem rebootRUU
htc_fastboot flash zip Rom.zip
htc_fastboot flash zip Rom.zip << This may not be needed - it did the whole flash the first round for me >>
htc_fastboot reboot
If I ever get the 2 stage update parts for an OTA update I'll post them here
Wasn't this a 2 stage OTA. I've read that there was a smaller update prior to this.

You answer your own question. U need a locked or relocked boot loader. Just Google how to do it.
i try with relock bootloader, but same message

There was a smaller OTA that went out prior to the Lollipop OTA. That's probably what's causing it

Initial impressions of it? With all the negative reviews I've seen/read I'm a little hesitant.
Are u sure you have an ATT m7? Ruu file is signed and if any info on your phone does not match it will give an error.

I gave up. Went to the end of the month.

Root e2306 marshmallow??

it is possible now??
If you have an unlocked bootloader, yes.
Otherwise you'll have to wait till someone comes up with a root method which could take a lot of time or no time at all.
On the same boat. I haven't unlocked the bootloader and I intend to keep avoiding it, so I'm waiting for someone to come up with rootkit or root method before flashing marshmallow.

About 1.5 yrs ago officially. I have unlocked 2,3 times after that. Currently there is a issue " current account cannot unlock this device" & no one have solution, everybody are waiting for fix. So I am thinking about unofficial unlock.

Try on linux OS. Some say u have better chance to unlock on linux os.
They failed on windows but linux very fast. No wait is required.
If u have linux installed then good.
