Question A52 5G SM-A526B/DS No call recording option. - Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

Hi, I have I flashed latest Israeli firmware with Odin, but still no call recording option. the SIM is an Israeli provider. Is there a way to overcome the call recording blockade? Also and 3rd party call recording installed is not working (not recording) would appreciate any support. Thanks

Thank you hainguyenthao for your great support. Now I can record calls with no issue. All the best

Whats the workaround?

I got a firmware from hainguyenthao to flash which enables call recording as a support.

Oreo on Three UK includes WiFi Calling and VoLTE

Title says it all really. I hadn't seen any indication that Oreo would bring any changes in the WiFi calling or VoLTE front, but the facilities that had been only available on Three branded ROMs, are available in Oreo.
Cheers for the info - on Three but using an unlocked phone so this will be useful when I've finally got the update.

Same here - just flash the XEF version if you have can download it, and have access to Odin.
Great news, also on three on the unbranded note 8. I was looking for volte / wifi yesterday actually and realised I was stuck with the terrible app ! Is it available yet or are we still waiting?

The release is currently only available for the XEF CSC, but as that is part of the OXM multi-CSC that covers the UK's BTU, then it's effectively identical to a UK update anyway. You can download it and flash it to your phone using Odin.

Yeah sorry, I got to reading after I posted that and saw your post in the other thread. I'll give it a go shortly - thanks for replying mate. Much appreciated!
They’ve also updated the modem Firmware to support additional LTE bands including B32 which three are currently deploying in my area.
Occasionally callers can't hear my audio at the other end of the call whilst using WiFi calling, I'm BTU/BTU/BTU on Oreo on 3UK. Would be interesting to see if anyone else is having issues. I'll check the detailed IMS settings when I have some free time.
From the Three site:
Devices that didn't come from Three.
Right now, all 4G Super-Voice compatible*iPhones*will be 4G Super-Voice enabled once the carrier settings have been installed, even if they didn't come from Three.
4G Super-Voice doesn't work on other non-Three devices yet however, even if the manufacturer has stated that it's VoLTE compatible. We're working on this, so be sure to check back for updates.
Has anyone experienced data transmission issues on Oreo and 3 UK?
I updated to Oreo via XEF Odin flash and then Update push but was getting very intermittent and "hangy" LTE & HSDPA data transmission...
I flashed back down to 7.1.1 but if no-one else has experienced this I may try again :fingers-crossed:
S9+ (direct from Samsung) user here using my Three SIM from my old S7 Edge contract.
No WiFi calling etc, what is it that I have to do to enable it? Not flashed firmware before & I'm concerned I may void any warranty etc (on Samsung Upgrade program for the S10)
Thank you in advance for any advice.

This is the Note 8 Forum and we are discussing the Oreo update for that specific phone. There's no guarantee that Oreo updates for other phones will include the VoLTE or WiFi Calling settings for Three. You would be better off directing your question to the S9+ forum.

I have the 950N as well. I would suggest downloading a 950F based ROM and then flashing TEKHD's CSC detonator(its in the dev section) which is T-Mobile based. It'll give you access to VoLTE and I believe video calling as well. I am currently running WETA 6.3.3 and have flashed that CSC pack. I am able to enable both the MMTEL and RCS switch. VoLTE is working fine for me now.

I am using a dual sim variant SM-N950F, both Sim cards are from 3UK so can I flash this firmware to get wificalling?
I use my SIM 1 for calls and texts and SIM2 just for data.
Just want to let you know that s7 edge btu with newest oreo update have WiFi calling enabled so no need to have 3 network firmware. Hope this helps someone.
I've just purchased a note 8 (UAE version) and using with 3uk I have Wi-Fi calling without any ROM adjustments

Is it possible for me to flash that OXM multi-CSC on my N950F model without root? I'd like to have wifi calling and volte here in US.
I'm on the N950FXXU4CRH3 build number. (XSG)

You can flash on your N950F, but without knowing what CSC it currently is, the results could be a little unpredictable.
However, I can't imagine it will give you what you want in the US, as none of the native CSCs in OXM target the US carriers.
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I was wondering if you could help please? Does this mean that Oreo firmware, regardless of source will allow Three's VoLTE (4G Super Voice) to work on any Note 8, even those not supplied by Three? My phone is running 8.0.0, is unlocked, and I have just ordered a Three SIM.
TIA

Do you have the dual sim-version?

Yes was single sim version. Now to try make my mate 10 connect via rSAP
That explains a lot, here in Norway the dual-sim version is the only one available..
The Mate 10 is not an option for me as the Huawei Mate 10 doesn't have QI charging.

Seems rsap on exynos is supported. But not on the snapdragon. Damn. Cause I have both and and snapdragon is better right now. Snappier and less battery
Did someone try to root and install this
http://www.android-rsap.com/bluetoot...s-profile.html
on the DUOS version? I like this phone but I hate the missing RSAP funcionality...
(I have the Exynos version)
Same thing in France/Belgium/Holland/Luxembourg , the single sim version is not sold in those countries, therefore no RSAP profile in any of those countries... It's really a scandal!
It's time for everybody to contact your sales support in your countries to ask for a software update to activate RSAP, only pressure will make them create an update
anyone ???

RSAP on S9 Duos
I tried it now on several variants without success.
Stock Rom Rooted, Stock Rom PIE Rooted, Custom Rom on PIE (The Galaxy Project) Root or without root. The RSAP installer does not work. Even the expensive paid version from a different supplier does not work at all. Has anyone found a fix for it. Since i really need this feature to connect the phone to my car. Otherwise it is kind of useless to me.

In the same boat s7 edge worked a treat thought s9 plus would be the same but no :/
last week some people with S10/S10+ duos started to report after update to A10 that rSAP is available when only one SIM is inserted in phone, can someone with official FW with A10 for S9+ for Germany can confirm this?
recommended is remove car from paired devices and also remove phone from list of paired devices in car
My S9 should be single SIM ... It's from Vodafone Italy but rSAP seems not working on my VW Touareg RNS 850 Infotainment System.
How can I check which HW version is my S9 ?
Is there any trick to activate it ?

Rsap works perfect in Android 10 in the s9 Duos even with two Sims inserted. But only in a stock Rom or stock custom Rom. Trying lineageos 17.1 right now, but it does not Seem to work

Pie Call recording -Working-

Don’t take hard on me as i am a newbie and if you have a better idea please let us now.
This don't trip KNOX nor need root, it evens get's you samsung Pay where it's not available!!
But you'll have to factory reset your device
There are a few countries where call recording is not ilegal so we must pretende that our phone is from that country, to do that we need to chage the CSC code to that specific country. India is one of these and CSC code of India is INS
I'm from Portugal (CSC = TPH) , i own a N950F DS, and i managed to make call record working by changing CSC of my device to INS (India)
(This probably will work on other note models) without triping KNOX or root
1- Take SIM out (if you leave the SIM in it will revert to your operator CSC)
2- Flash Combination firmware with Odin:
https://www.hardreset.info/articles/samsung-combination-firmware/
(COMBINATION_FA71_N950FXXU5ARI1_CL12991683-i have bootloader 5 EXYNOS)
This will install a special firmware to your device that is used for technical purpose
On ODIN Put it under AP and leave everything Default
UPDATE : BOOTLOADER 6 EXYNOS

3- Change CSC :

RealTerm: https://sourceforge.net/projects/realterm/files/Realterm/2.0.0.70/
(this is real simple, don't be scared)
4- Flash PIE rom with Odin:
N950FXXU5DSB2_N950FOXM5DSB2
(Any PIE rom will do except the carrier specific)
In my case i flashed India
https://flb.st/Q1U7Z
5- Configure, let update, (i ended up with the India SamsungPay not available in my country, you can disable it after)
6- Turn off and insert SIM, and Turn on
Now the important thing:
Everytime you restart the pone it will ask you to restart as a SIM card was changed, Hit Cancel and ignore it or it will change to you CSC again once it boots up.
Update:
After 2 days of using intensely i decided to hit restart and confirm the new SIM restart.
Didn't lose my setings and Call record still present and now i have INS/TPH/PAK CSC,
Call recording is working fine.
Hope it helps someone and please leave a like, for at least i know if i helped someone and it's worth to make any post here
I think that maybe (I said maybe cause i've not altready tried) the first step it's not necessary; to change CSC you can simply do it using bootloader or and app called Phone Info Samsung...
it's more simple and fast....the rest of the process you described is ok
if someone have the time to try let us know if it works. Thanks
---------- Post added at 10:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:29 PM ----------
I have already same firmware in my taiwanese Note 8 (CSC = BRI)...received OTA
When i have more time I would try to change only CSC to INS (India)...no need Odin... then hard reset, let update and check if record calls native function is there...
Waiting suggestions before the test....

Do you have VoLte option in indian firmware ?
I tried it and I loose the data connection when in am in a phone call. There is a way to solve this problem?
From what I know my mobile operator provide VoLte but no option in Note8 settings in indian firmware.

I was on Italian firmware before. Now call recordings works natively out of the box on Android Pie.

No Google didn't change their policy. No 3rd party apps can directly do call recording as of Pie, but because this is built into the Samsung ROM, it is able to still function in those regions where Samsung enables it.

Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy J8

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy J8 from Australia because I lost my phone there. When I came home to India I found out that the Australian J8 does not support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) but I need VoLTE for my Indian sim card to work. So I went to the Samsung service center but they straight away denied any support since I bought this in another country.
The Indian varient J8 supports VoLTE but the Australian one does not even when both the phones have the exact same hardware. So its a software limitation.
Can anyone suggest any method I can use to install any custom ROM that'll support VoLTE.
I'm willing to install anything, root my phone or whatever it takes since I'm never gonna get any warranty on this. So I might as well try everything else.

Just download Indian firmware from sammobile and flash via odin, that will contain latest modem for your device. It might bring VoLTE, because I think its software problem.
