I have flashed a custom rom first using flash tool then again flashed using stock rom, then i given that to my brother and he not used my phone for a 2months. when i heard that i take back and tried to switch ON but its not restarted and again I flashed my phone but unfortunately the file got wrong and now it is not restarting and I can't able to flash again. when i connected usb only red light blinking and not detecting by PC and frequently a white screen appearing.
No recovery, No fastboot, No flashmod.
Please help me...

what abut the usb port thats inside the phone it self..you can easly test it by any maintenance friend with avo-meter
edit: can you enter the recovery menu?

Boot in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up and Power Button at the same time.
Release all buttons when the Sony Xperia neo L screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.

idk about the usb port I will try that, but it responds when put it in charging (only red led blinking). and no recovery mode, while pressing the power button the red led blinks 3times then no more response happens, and I tried to charge it in a whole day after 2hr a light showed in the screen and it happened frequently. No more responses from phone.

After using recovery and install a new kernel ( seems not compatible ) after choose reboot to system option my Xperia S didn't function anymore and I couldn't able to use keys to reset or power on my phone.
I try all of combination of keys but nothing
I put in charging more than 8 hour but nothing ( only first solid RED led appeared and after hours it goes off and when try to charge another time it did the same )
when I connect to PC the flashtool shows it connected with debugging off and do nothing.
I can't go on flash mode or fast mode to reinstall again.
would some one help me to how can I bring my phone in live. ( I haven't a repair sony service in my town )

It's not bricked, one of my Xperia S phones did this to me on multiple occasions. The first time i just let it charge over night, or until the solid red LED turned to solid orange LED. The patience waiting for it to turn to an orange LED is the key here i noticed after it happening several times, interrupt it each time and it may as well be bricked through lack of patience.

had the same last night, hold the vol+ and vol - key pressed together, then press the power for about 20 secs you get a 3x vibe, then connect and flash

As I wrote I try all combination of keys but nothing changed...
Just when I plug to PC red LED goes on but after about an hour it goes off , and when I replug it goes on again...
Last days when I plug to wall charger red LED acts the same pluged to PC but now red LED is off about 8 hours connected to charger....
Only the flashtool recocnised the phone with usb debugging off when I connect to PC but I can't go to flash mode or fast boot mode...
Is there any commands with an application that works with xperia s and re write its bootloader when its not in flash or fastboot modes.
I was installed all of the derivers needed for adb and ... when my Xperia S was working...
would know someone help me to take my phone works agian?

I've rooted my phone and flashed CWM but never succeed to get into CWM mode to flash some mods. Method with holding VOL UP and conecting USB cable in the same time didnt work for me. Today I connected my Xperia S via HDMI cable to my LCD TV and after few minutes of playing with that I disconnected it. My phone's display freezes and nothing was happening after I try to push all the buttons and capacitive keys. Suddenly phone reboots by him self with Sony logo on screen and then CWM recovery menu appeard. How? Beats me! I didnt try again but its weird. Did someone had the similar situation?

first, i know that the title is typical but i searched the the forum for my problem and i couldnt find any help so please hear me out!
i've been using xperia sola for over 5 months now and also been using the Ultimate V11 JB ROM, everything was ok till 2 days ago. at first it started with hanging and then restarting itself but now it still hangs at anywhere possible but it doesnt restart itself and none of the keys work so i cant hard reset it too!
i flashed it to stock rom, didnt work. tried the new NovaThor JB ROM and still nothing. the problem still exist.
now it wont turn on completely. tried with the another charger thing but i get a red light for 1 sec and then nothing.
plz help, its somewhat urgent!

only once the red light is blinking or it is continuously turning on when you are connecting the charger..if it is turning on then charge your mobile
for 3-4 hour..if that is not the case then try flashmode and fastboot mod..and when you are pressing power button are you getting any vibration??
if there above things dont work then your device may have hard bricked for which you have to take your device to service center...good luck

the red blinking light apears everytime i connect the charger, but for 1 sec. but now when i connect it to wall charger no red light but when i connect it to pc usb the red light apears and now it stays and doesnt go away. does this mean it is charging?!
how can i fix it with flashmode or fastboot?!
i dont think it is bricked because it was working fine 2 days ago and suddenly it started restarting!
then try to enter into flash mod by pressing the vloume down button and simultaneously connect the usb to the pc...if it is working then flash the stock ftf...if by connecting the cable to the phone through pc led is showing constantly then keep it remain like that for 3-4 hours..it might get charged.

i tried the volume down thing but it didnt work, couldnt flash my phone.
i connect it to pc and the red light appears but it disappears after 10 minutes and i have to disconnect and then connect it again to get the red light!
its on the OS, could happen any time. Probably bootloop.
install flashtool
download ICS stock room
click the lightning on the flashtool and locate where you have put the ICS stock room.tft
hold down volume before connecting the cable to the phone.
then wait till the stockrom flash correctly.

its easy to recognize it, hold turn-off button and volume-up until 3 vibrations = force turn-off
if already turn-off
then hold volume-down before inserting the cable.

im sorry but your talking about the computer doesnt recognize your device lately, how will it recognize if it is connected to the charger and not on the PC

DUDEEEEEEE CALM DOWN AND LISTEN. THE FIRST SIGN OF AN XDA NOOB IS TO PANICK WHEN HIS/HER PHONE IS BRICKED.
Listen to the advice of @skyfast as what he said is completely correct. Try his suggestions and update us. Flash Mode will work regardless of what state. Hold volume down then connect the cable to enter flash mode.

WHAT!?! it's like you're talking chinese to me right now!
either i connect it to wall charger or pc the only thing i get is a red stable light which disappears after 10-15 min. and computer doesnt recognize the phone when i connect it to PC!

plz read my answers too! i said it before that i tried all the combo buttons and they dont work! my phone doesnt respond to any of them. i tired the PowerOff + Volume Up, the PowerOff + Volume Down, i tired connecting it to pc with both Volume Up and Volume down but none of them work!
i know that my sola is bricked and all i need to know is the correct and step by step way to fix it. plz!

hey man you can wipe system data and dalvik and then formate system this happend for me once and then flash the ics stock so you can boot to ics and if you booted wait a while and then flash any custom rom you must wait cuz this time my sola was bootlooping if any custom kernel was seted up

I have a hard bricked Sony Xperia P.i flashed a custom rom for it but there are some bugs on it(when it booted up it stucks in lock screen and onceagain restarting. )so i off my phn by pressing keys while it restarting,.another bad thing is there it has 20% of battry persantage ..opz after i off it ,my phone never boot up. It only shows red LED for a couple of seconds when connected to external charger or USB port.
No entry into fastboot or flash mode.im on unlocked boot loader...plzzz help me im in a serious problem now...plzzz:crying::crying:

First of all make sure the phone is off, press power + volume up untill you feel 1+3 vibrations(sometime 1+1+3).
See if you can charge it, though charging led may not turn on, leave it on charger for an hour or two, then force it off again and try fastboot again.

Had this same issue while using a custom ROM , resolved by using SUS . Connect your phone to computer and let it charge first for an hour , then open SUS and follow the instruction .

Have you tried leave it charging even there no led indication?
i also face this problem !!!
There is a solution Just hold that power and volume up key until u hear three vibraions then leave the phone it will completly off. then download Stock .ftf file depnding upon your phone modal and flash it through flashtool .

Hi,my xperia z2 got freezed so i restart it by pressing power off button and volume down after that its keep on struck at bootloader and not getting start.when i connect it with laptop its charging too but when i try to flash it on flashmode and it says turn off device and connect it again while pressing volume button it shows no process..just one red light blink then green for one second after that nothing.how to flash it?what to do next?

That's normal, the device has to be calibrated for the first time when you connected it to the computer.
And not charging in flash mode is yet no more than normal.

i know but i m struck at the wait for flashmode pop up..flash process is not happening and it seems like flashtool cant detect my phone.
