I got my battery replaced from Citirom - Shield Tablet Accessories

In case anyone is interested, I was down to maybe an hour of battery life. I found Juan of Citirom International on Ebay, a repair service in Tampa. I message him, paid, and sent him the tablet. About a week and a half later, I got it back. The battery life is over four hours now, which is an improvement. He messaged me when he got it and messaged me when he was sending it back. If you want to keep using your tablet or bring it back to life, contact Juan Ebay Item #184859812956.

Battery Dying Issues...

These batteries seem practically useless. If I use the phone constantly text messaging or internet, whatever the battery only seems to last for maybe 45-60 minutes. The original battery died a long time ago, so I got these new batteries on Ebay from China that are 1600mAh. I paid a little more for them because they were 1600mAh instead of the standard 1500mAh, but maybe the quality is bad so the mAh doesn't matter? Does anybody know a better battery or solution? My friend gets these 1650mAh batteries that he swears by, but he pays a fortune for them. So, I don't know. Thank you!

I swear by the Innocell 1650 mAh batteries I get from Seidio (http://www.seidioonline.com). They're $44.95, which I don't consider to be a fortune for something that lasts well over a year. I have two (one in the phone and one I keep charged just in case) and swap them every couple of weeks, and I'm going on about a year and a half with no noticeable dropoff in capacity.
I've seen cheapies on eBay for around $10, but you get what you pay for.
Well, I suppose I should finally get a new battery.... My original battery has finally started to drain too fast... I have had it for 1.5 years...... haha I'll try that new seidio.....
Yeah, that's the same battery my friend got and recommended, but it's too expensive. I found a 2200mAh and 2800mAh on Ebay for cheap. The 2800mAh requires an extended cover, but the 2200mAh doesn't say if it does or not and the guy isn't replying to my emails. Does anybody know? Thanks.

TRY THIS
Sometimes its not the battery
what would happen to me is that i would sometimes leave open programs in the beackground and that would kill the battery fast, especialy if you leave the gps program on it kills it before you know it. Go into the settings and select to close program upon pressing x, that helps otherwise you have to remember to close them or go to task manager and closing them.
Well, I have every closed. You can see my memory usage here, if that's helpful:

im having the same problem!
I've got 2 standard batteries that I had for bout 2 yrs.. I can't seem to find an upgraded battery for my mogul..don't want to get it onlline ... even my sprint stores don't have any new standard batteries either. I hate that I only get a n hour of usage when I used to get about 6 hrs straight!...
Well, my friend gave me one of his batteries. I think he paid $5 for it on Ebay. I tested it, and I used it for 14 straight hours with never plugging it into electricity and it was at 5% after the 14 hours. I used it off and on, making phone calls, sending and getting text messages and using the internet. It really shocked me. I wonder how long they are good for, but even if they only last for 6 months, it's still only $10 per year for 2 batteries. So, I guess time will tell. He is no longer paying the $45 for the Seidio batteries anymore. I think he says they only lasted about a year. So, this might be a better way to go. These batteries say HTC on them, but I think they are sold as OEM batteries...

Replacing Battery With Warranty Claim

I'm planning on replacing my G1's battery because im charging it 3 times a day. It is still under warranty with T-Mobile, so can I just call them and ask for a replacement? Will I have to send mine back? Shipping costs?
I would go into your nearest T_Mobile store and be cool about it.
They might actually exchange it for you
Well actually I was kinda hoping for 2 batteries to be able to use
not sure how it would work for you but a month after i bought my g1 (got mine the day it came out) i called up and complained that my battery wouldnt charge above 80%, they claimed it was due to dead cells and they sent me a new one and told me to keep the old one
first they asked me to do a wipe, and they asked me if it was expanding (the battery), after the wipe and the battery looking fine they just sent me a new one, had it 3 days later, after rc29 came out it fixed my issue with the battery not charging up and the battery started working properly again
just recently i replaced my g1 through insurance (water damange) and asurion told me i only had to send the phone back, not the charger and battery and door that they sent with the replacement phone
i then bought the extended battery to test out and see how well it worked, if youve kept tally, im up to 3 regular batteries, a extended battery, 2 stock battery doors, and a extended door, for next to nothing
i have batteries from t mobile i just called tech support and bull shiet saying that the battery doesnt hold its charge that it dies in 2 hours just on stand-by ROFL and i did this twice so i have a total of 3 batteries LOL and they sent them to me for free too

its sad that the only way to get enough life out of a g1 is to bull**** tech support and have them send you batterys so that you can swap them out throughout the day...
however, it works lol

Best bet is Ebay, thats where i got all my extra batteries from because after awhile the OEM batteries start to blow. Just be careful and if its a real cheap battery, make sure you keep an eye on it.

dude i'm expecting the andida to come in any time this week!
it's taken almost 2 weeks, if it doesn't work im gonna crap myself
I just got this one two days ago form amazon and the extra battery life is awesome so far.
"2200mAh Li-Ion Replacement Extended Battery for Google G1, T-Mobile G1, HTC Dream, HTC Dream 100 series"
It adds some size but it's not nearly as bad as I expected.
MY battery also died on me pretty much. How I knew was it was only giving me 10 minutes of talk time then shutting off. But yea my new battery 2300 MaH battery just came in the mail today from Hong Kong bought from ebay and so far so good.. It's really good because they say you get 2-3 days of battery life and for us G1 users, 24 hours of usage is GREAT!. I'll inform you guys how it works
I bought mine from Fry's by some chinese brand lol...
works fine and has yet to fail on me.

Moto HF5X Battery $10 UPDATE: Not True

Check it...... $9.99/ea. for now......
http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U...ry-Doors/Standard-Battery-for-PHOTON-4G-US-EN
Get 'em while they're hot!
EDIT****
Turns out it's an error on the moto store website.
Electrify....
If you have the Electrify, this is the OEM battery: Battery Notice the 3.8v... Standard for the Electrify... Also $9.99
It's interesting you mention the voltage. My Photon came with the 3.8v out of the box. Shortly after I bought the phone from Sprint, I ordered the spare battery/charger from Motorola online. That too was a 3.8v battery. Now the linked battery above *says* it's 3.7v......we'll see. I'm gonna order it along with a spare back cover today. I'll post again after I receive it.
Either way, I wouldn't think 1/10th of a volt matters.
EDIT******
Turns out the listed "battery" is actually the battery *door* It's just a screwup on their website.
3.8v
The 3.8v stock ones do last longer then the 3.7v. I have two of them, a 1700 &1860, and neither last as long as my stock ones.
Standard Battery Door for MOTOROLA PHOTON™ 4G
I'm confused as to why the description on the checkout reads Standard Battery Door for the Photon.
My mistake. I just read the post above.

These are 3.8v... I bought the the 2 I have from this seller... I always buy different batteries to see which works best. These are the best in the non-extended battery types. I didn't try the extended ones because it would make it larger..
When I charge my phone, and when fully charged, "battery percentage" app shows 4.351v (back of battery shows 3.8v), on my LG Optimus S, its 4.2v - both stock batteries

Bookmarked for future reference. I recently ordered a set from Amazon, but this is a better deal. Thanks
TS
Let everyone know how they work
If anyones just wanting the OEM battery, call up or get on Motos tech chat and tell them you have a faulty battery or are getting horrible battery life, they mail it out no questions asked. Took me under 5 minutes to do and got mine in mail week or two later.

I'll add that I had placed an order for two of the $10 "batteries" identified by OP, only to realize later that it was a website issue. Called up Motorola to cancel the order and, although it took some time on their end to figure out what was going on, they came back and told me they'd just send me two batteries for free, for my trouble (and that I could also keep the two battery doors if they ever came). Great customer service!

I've found the EF6X battery on MOTO's website,rated @1860mv, & states that it is compatible w/the PHOTON & DROID3.
Can anyone verify this?

If it's from Motorola website, then you should have no problems with it.
I bought two of these type of batteries. Unlike the clone ones for my EVO (which were excellent) - these are cheap Chinese turds. Max one hour life.
Mind you, I was in a pinch when traveling and they were helpful.

w0lf215, thank you for the information!
I contacted motorola through chat and was told, "Motorola accessories have a standard one year warranty barring any physical or liquid damage from the date of purchase. We can send you a replacement for the battery for free."
Battery is on the way!
Real OEM batteries. Yes a little expensive at 27.99, but a lot cheaper than straight from moto.

Replacement battery

I searched the forums and someone posted once before about a replacement battery, but never got an actual reply. I have a moto x force in UK.
Long story cut short, I took it on a plane and it went down hill and died. Did many many tests and tweaks, definite battery.
I have searched the net and can find x-longer replacement fb55 batteries, but these are rubbish batteries I have found and only 3540 mah. I found this one in China (very dubious) but thought what the hell, my moto is a paperweight anyway.
https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32736294085.html#autostay
I am awaiting its trip very slowly around the world to find out what rubbish I have bought, but in the meantime has anyone else needed to replace their battery and if so where did they get theirs?
Oh I tried Motorola but as I unlocked my bootloader they won't repair for money as they don't touch unlocked phones. Guessed warranty was void but never realised they would not even help for money. They also won't supply batteries to the public. Their only advice was to take it to a "offline store" whatever that is...

You need to find some shop, where they sell and fix smartphones, very possible that they can do that for You way cheeper as Lenovo/Motorola. You need look around, ask friend on Facebook, etc.
Droid turbo 2 batt
search US ebay store there is one original battery available (used), with international shipping.
Sorry, don't have one
Do you have access to Google? Just Enter Turbo 2 battery - many choices. eBay, Amazon, all 3900 mah
Battery part number is FB55. When ordering off AliExpress, ePacket is your best shipping option. It's EMS priority for $5 or less, in most cases. Turkey post is a few days slower, but also very good. Standard shipping takes up to six months. A messenger has to swim those over.
I ordered a couple of these batteries from AliExpress as well. Also waiting. Some story by shippers about the holiday season doubling turnaround times. 5 days to get to Canada, then two weeks to process and deliver.
All reviews I found stated that the battery worked well. We'll see.
Hi all,
I've a Moto X Force EU xt1580 and a dead battery (phone shutting down with battery error logo when power is less than 50% and it's cold weather…)
I want to change the battery, but FB55 seems to be fore xt1581 or xt1585 models. Is it the same for xt1580 ?
Both Amazon and AliExpress dont have official battery. Is someone have experiences with Chinese batteries ? Some says that it's 4000mAh. is it real ?
Thanks all !
XT1580 (Global), XT1581 (China), and XT1585 (Verizon United States) are different versions of the same phone. They all share the same parts and accessories. You can give this one a try:
http://s.aliexpress.com/niUNjU3U?fromSns
The proper battery should give you capacities of 3550 (typical)/3760 (maximum), which is the OEM spec. I recommend avoiding any batteries that claim a higher capacity than I listed.
