[THINKTANK] Enabling Mouse Cursor

Using hidd, a bluetooth keyboard can be connected to the nexus one, and it works quite well. How about a mouse? My bluetooth mouse connected. But all i can do is kinda of move the mouse to scroll around. So im starting this thread to try to make this happen.
Why it may be possible possible:
The folks at android x86 have made a mouse patch to enable the cursor. They are also open source.
Why it may not be possible:
Their code is probably for a built in pointer device, not bluetooth. Also, they are using android 1.6 at the moment.

Oh yeah, um, why we want better mouse support? to play quake 3 of course...
Hi, I'm the developer of android-x86.
Yes, of course it is possible to apply our mouse patch to N1. It's cool!
And we already have the patch for eclair (check eclair-x86 branch).
I'll begin to work on Froyo soon.
BTW, you may take a look at the 0xdroid project.
They just implemented the Bluetooth HID profile.
(it means, you can connect bt keyboard & mouse via GUI setting)

I've seen a mouse cursor when you select text, looks nice

[Q] USB Infrared support in Android

There may be device or rom specific answers to this question, but I wanted to know if there was support for USB infrared receivers built into stock Android, possibly at Kernel level?
The context is that I have a USB IR receiver that I've used in Windows for XBMC that I've tried connecting to two of my Android devices (Galaxy Nexus and Nexus Q) via a USB OTG cable and pointing my remote at it doesn't seem to automatically work like a Bluetooth remote does, but it could be that it's receiving the IR commands and I need an android app to convert the IR signals into something Android understands.
Anyone have any information about this?

[Feature request] phone/phablet (nexus 7 2013 lte) as bluetooth headset

Can we have nexus 7 2013 lte act as bluetooth headset and have phone book access profile please.....
www.bluez.org they have the whole source code to put this in to any rom, i do not know how to put but someone who knows i think should be straight forward
also there are roms from huifei who manufactures car stereos with bluetooth functionality in them and they are based on android ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2660662
can we have this functionality please in nexus 7 ?
There is source code available for a product called carpod, and android car head unit which also has this bluetooth functionality... i downloaded the source code, and it has gradle files etc... i have no idea how and what to look in to the source code... any suggestions where to look? how to open the complete source code in android development studio etc?
the link for that source code is under Helpful Links section -->> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55200512&postcount=1
i really hope a developer can just add this functionality which is already implemented in many available car head units running on android...

Help! HID interface not working!

The HID interfaces are detected, but don't work. USB keyboard app freezes as soon as I plug in the USB. I'm on ElectraBlue kernel, which is supposed to have HID support. RubberDucky and HID attacks give the "HID interfaces are not enabled" error. BadUSB is working.
I forgot to mention KaliNethunter in the title! My bad.
