TMobile N10 crossflash - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Questions & Answers

While I've gathered there is no modded MSM tool to convert to the international variant, but is it possible to flash to the international variant via normal flashing methods (zip install via recovery) with an unlocked bootloader?
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

You'd have to ask the recovery maintainers.
Some devices allow it because the variations are similar enough.
Or recovery might read that 88 in our device number and just deny you.

Guess I'll try it over my days off from work and report back.

You can flash the international using MSM with a modified settings.xml
I was able to flash it to a carrier and bootloader locked metro N10

I gave that method a try and am still banging my head against it.
There are instructions on here for flashing GSI roms with a global release of OOS as one of the packages, I am gonna give that a try and see where I land once my unlock token comes in from 1+

Crossflash achieved!!!!
Huge thanks to @ieatgravity and his thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...to-tmobile-metro-w-locked-bootloader.4297501/

Stunning! Where can someone derive or potentially find the mods to make to the XML file?
-=[sent from][email protected]
Just because I'm a little bit aggravated tonight why would you post that and not tell people and that's where you can do that or this is the information you'll need. If you're going to teach somebody anything you should be a teacher not a gloater..

CAn anyone upload the TMO to global please

The latest file I know of for XT1601/XT1602 is:

It is already finished, just need to upload and post links.

Just added MPI24.241-2.33, MPI24.241-2.43, MPI24.241-2.45, and MPIS24.241-15.3-7.
All known build numbers are now available
If you have/know of a build number not currently included, please post a request including the build number.
Enjoy!
Just wanted to give a huge thank you for posting these. I flashed one and it fixed my GPS issue so thank you so much.
One question, is there anywhere to see the release dates of each radio? I'm just curious the order of which is oldest and newest.
Thank you again.
I have a XT1603 (Brazil) with the build number MPIS24.241-15.3-7, if i flash the fastboot MPIS24.241-15.3-7 will work, right? And can you provide a link to the zip MPIS24.241-15.3-7 that i can flash with adb through PC?
Thanks @Q9Nap

You can use simg2img to unsparse the NON-HLOS.bin to NON-HLOS.raw, then use a hex editor to search for the date.
You can do the same with fsg, the other component of the radio, also; it is already unsparsed, so no need to use simg2img.

Thanks again for the radios and for helping me check the dates! I have one more question which I can't seem to answer myself.
In the names of the radios, some start with MPI (example MPI24.241-15.3) while other radios begin with MPIS (example MPIS24.241-15.3-7). Do you know what this difference means? I have not been unable to find the meaning of this difference. Thanks again.

I'm not sure what the difference is either, except that "MPIS" seems to be on the most recent builds.
Sorry for all the questions, but I do have another.
As I have been having constant GPS problems, I have been trying many of the radios to see if there is any solution or change to the issue. I havent found a solution yet.
I am curious if you think there is any danger or risk in flashing one of the amazon/verizon radios on a non-verizon or non-amazon phone? The baseband version is the same as my phone on stock the only difference being you have versions listed for Verizon and Amazon as well.
Thanks again for all the help.
@Q9Nap,
Thank you so much for these files.
Question:
Which one of the fastboot files is for the xt1607 U.S. Retail version?
Also, I have the xt1609 Verizon variant of the Moto G4 play. Can I flash the fastboot files for the xt1607 on my phone?
Since there are no gpt or bootloader files I'm wondering if it will work?
Thanks

The only difference between standard and verizon/amazon builds is the oem partition; everything else is the same.
So you could flash those radios, but the result wouldn't be any different.

If you've somehow managed to unlock the xt1609 bootloader, then yes you can use these files; afaik though, an unlock solution hasn't been released as of this writing.
I have flashed xt1609 files on my xt1607 successfully though, so it would work if the bootloader was unlocked.

Unfortunately the xt1609 bootloader is not unlockable at the moment. (neither is there any root method for it. Bummer, huh?)
I just thought that the files could be flashed through adb fastboot as long as I didn't try to flash the bootloader and gpt, which are not included in these files, but apparently the bootloader would still need to be unlocked.

[Question] How To Unlock Your Phone From Carrier (SIM Lock)

Hello Everyone,
I want to ask if anyone has any experience with unlocking the LG G2 Mini. I have reserched a while and it seems to be there is no way of unlocking it for free. A link to a trustworthy, not too expensive website for unlocking codes would be helpfull!
Btw: just flashing a new custom ROM doesn't unlock the phone.
Thanks
Flash an unbranded stock kdz.
Then, whatever ROM you want.
Your carrier probably added the lock on the bootstack.

LG releases its stock ROMs in kdz format, which you can flash with LG Flash Tool.
I believe it contains all the partitions on the phone (though I could be wrong about this).
I flashed the flashable stock rom zip version 20b but still doesn't unlock i can only use one sim

Sorry for being so late with my response. I flashed a kdz-Stock ROM quite a while ago now and it didn't worked out in my case. So the lock seems to be somewhere deeper in the phones software.
My research wasn't very successful because everybody just want to sell a unlockcode not give an solution :/.

Are you sure it's unbranded?
If it has your provider's codename on it, then it's branded.
Flash one with the codename of the country (or general area) you live in.
What is the name of the kdz you flashed?

I flashed 'D620r10g_00.kdz' and D620r20b_00.kdz'
I am pretty sure they are both unbranded. As you probably can read out of the name - one is KK and one is LP.

Try flashing the actual bootstack from the Original Dev section.
If that doesn't work, then the lock is somewhere else.
Maybe in the partition that holds the IMEI. I don't know.
I can't help you much.
Flashed the Kitkat baseband from this thread (D620r):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/bootstack-kk-l-unknown-baseband-imei-t3142805
But unfortunately it didn't helped. This Provider knows how to let his customers pay .
Thanks anyways for your help and patience. Appreciate you!

Unfortunately after installing that firmware I got the Shut Down after locking with fingerprint issue (documented here among other sites: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/help/reboots-shutdowns-fingerprint-scanner-t3856346).
It happened after it got updated to PPR1.180610.011.G965U1UEU6CSI1.
So I'll try to flash a different firmware... :crying:

We won't know until we get hold of the MSMDownload Tool for the Retail N200 ROM, to test it out. The good news is that I just saw the post from @lzgmc about having got hold of the tool. Not clear yet if it is for the retail version or Tmobile version or both. Stay tuned!
I think his msmdownload is for t-mobile... I have a OP full paid version that's bricked...so I see hope .. yet my second phone takes 12 hours to charge and drains fast .. it hurts me to have a brand new phone that I can't use.. anyways its my fault so

In that case, you are the perfect candidate to request a "remote session" with Oneplus and grab a copy of the MSMDownload Tool for retail/unlocked version! You can get your phone unbricked in the next few hours, if you want to. Additionally, it will help others too if you manage to grab a copy of the MSMDownload Tool for retail during the remote session, and share it with others.
Please see the link below.
Un-bricking my Nord N200
Don't ask me why, but I tried to upload a GSI using fastboot to my N200. And that didn't work. So I then read online about other people getting the same error I had, and their fix was deleting the "product" partition and erasing the system...
