Hopped from another rom?
For the first time that I really impressed by sunny custom rom.
I didn't test it before because Waited for official to get some CAF things to get cocked.
smooth experience really smooth.
no bother heating on normal use.
I believe it's will rock on next few updates

I just got issues with flashing, I tried this:
flashed pe recovery
formated data
rebooted to recovery
flashed the rom through ADB sideloade.
with nikgapps core
rebooted to system everything fine

Yeah, thanks bro, I did flashed successfully yesterday after asking. Seems all CAF ROMs are not so friendly with the Alpha build of TWRP. I tried with PERecovery and booted on 1st try!
A little pity that not many customizations yet ( one of the things we always look for on Custom ROMs ), besides of it, everythings else is faxking ROCKs. Smooth, battery management's cool ( only after 12hours using but can say that ), and so far not yet any major bugs.

Auto-rotation should be fixed
To avoid the confusion i am writing the instructions again in simple language -
1.Reboot to recovery
2.Do all the wipes and reboot recovery again (from recovery itself, you'll get a popup saying "No OS installed" , just swipe
3.You are in recovery again, Install > select rom > Add more zips > add gapps (optional) and swipe and reboot system when done
4.Initial boot behaviour is weird, it'll show motoboot logo for an abnormal time just wait and it'll boot. You are good to go.

No used opengapps ??, use benzo gapps for AOSP.

Hi there, I'm trying to get this ROM installed on my phone. I'm pretty excited about having an AOSP build.
I'm getting this error when I try to flash the zip in TWRP 3.0.0-r2
...

I have checked the the MD5sum on the phone and it matches the website (ac1b12538276046f81b6f5d76de5c298).

Amazing rom, performance it's very nice, sound quality it's better than cm13 (my opinion) the only negative on this rom is the portuguese brazil translation is not "complete" like the headphone connected thing, and some random reboots (with is easily fixed when I clear the cache).

hey, loving this port, but could you please add an option to completely hide the notch as opposed to just blacking it out? i'd rather use the regular long status bar.

Statusbar shows the app-icon not dots
Maybe a bug: Notification sounds from the SD card are not recognized after a reboot
Great Work I use it as my daily driver it would be the perfect rom if you could just add vmore multitasking features to it like gesture anywhere and the app bar or pie controls
Don't know why, but with this rom i can not turn on mobile data, had try everything

I installed everything correctly, did a clean flash and strangely when the rom starts, is asking for a supposed password to start the android ... what can this be? (ps: I've done wipe data, system, cache, dalvik, everything) and still keep asking for some password to start!

This can only be solved with the help of the twrp flashable stock rom from here. After flashing this you will be able to format data in twrp which finally removes encryption. Read instructions carefully.
This ROM is perfect! I do though because of my setup have to restart my phone every 2-3 days to shake the cobwebs out and keep it as lag free as possible. But otherwise this is the first Pie rom where I can open up Google Maps and it doesn't cause total lockup or Spotify and not have the LMK kill it when it felt like it. Or call up Assistant and not wait 2 minutes for it to come up! Running the 2/32 variant (at least delays my need to find a 3/32 X4 or 4/64 G5+ on eBay)
Will the new update make things even better (I know, clean flash)? Also, will there be at some point adding the only feature I think is missing? The ability to natively unlink ring and notification volumes?

Check that you are using the latest version of the official TWRP. Maybe the file is corrupted, download it again.
Got a minor bug with screenshot edits. Says markup keeps stopping. I have attached screenshot.

Flickering is hardware related problem and has nothing to do with the ROM
this rom rooted?

when I make a call and activate the speakerphone it becomes noisy and I hear nothing, and neither does the other person. can you help me?

Great ROM! I have used it for a while and installed Magisk to fix the crdroid settings and it works fine even though I haven't tested calls or messages.
Here are a few suggestions/bugs:
When typing sometimes the text is like it doesn't wanna go into the line but it goes
Include Magisk in the ROM or at least a warning that you have to flash it to work
And that's all! I'm looking forward to a new update.
Edit: Also noticed that the AOD doesn't changes position which is a worry due to AMOLED burn in.

Thanks for bringing a new ROM to our favourite phone. Does the dialer come with a call recorder built-in? Is the phone recognised as a Pixel phone so that uploads to Google photos don't count? Thanks.

I don't think if this is a bug but the "Auto" or the "Adaptive" brightness is suddenly goes dark then super bright. I think theres a problem with the sensor driver or else?

This looks promising, i think it s the first CAF rom we have on Surya ?
From my little understanding this should means better optimisations than oss roms. (?)

Invert navigation button layout is missing and even though I flashed the most recent update, OTA keeps showing me there is an update available. Lastly, the splash screen gets stuck as well. Phone boots normally but it's aesthetically displeasing. Not a big deal.
I understand this is a nightly so I'll patiently wait for updates, but for now I'm sticking to AOSP until they come as lots of work needs to be done.
Does this rom still receive support? Would be nice to have a more "permanent" rom installed with ota
