I bought it, last month, unfortunately from Japan. Didn't get a charger, no headphone, was a docomo model So-51B,missed out big time on Dual Sim and some bands. Fortunately Airtel and jio wifi calling works. Badly want the dual Sim feature, if anyone could help anyhow to achieve it would be awesome. BTW beautiful phone.

does any one who lives in india, know if any sites sent international.

Before you buy check if volte and WiFi calling work

If you have any friends or relatives at UAE, try getting it through them. I requested One of my friend at Fujairah, UAE to order a Sony Xperia 1 iii (Dual SIM, SIM Free, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB Storage, Black) from Amazon UAE (amazon ae) website for me. Even though it is not available in UAE, we got an Amazon Prime Product Listing in which Amazon UK Seller was providing International Shipping to UAE. Total Amount came up to around ₹ 92 K (Phone ₹ 85 K, Shipping and Handling ₹ 827, Import Fees Deposit ₹ 6 K). Ordered on 13 March 22 and got it delivered on 17 March 22. Genuine Product from Sony UK, came in a sealed pack, unscathed. Unboxed and confirmed that everything is fine. He will be back by this month end. Eagerly waiting to take over the dream machine.

Hi Hazzay ...
Am using Airtel & Jio SIMs, the major 4G players in India. VoLTE and WiFi Calling is working fluently in mY Sony Xperia 1 III (XQ-BC52).
VoLTE in Action
Initially i searched for VoLTE option in the settings but could not find it. I was like OMG. 4G Calling came to my rescue.
Jio 4G LTE with VoLTE enabled, in Action.
Airtel 4G LTE with VoLTE enabled, in Action.
WiFi Calling.
Took over the Phone from my friend on the 1st week of April. Sorry for the much delayed reply, was busy with my professional commitments.

Ohh wooow.
Did you have to do anything to get it working?

Cradle for t-Mo TP2?

Does anyone know what cradles are compatible with the T-Mobile TP2? I know that the T-Mo is a bit less rounded then the standard version, and I'd hate to buy a cradle that didn't... well, cradle.
Any help would be appreciated.
Try this?
I just ordered my online after reading a local forum. Looks ok to me.

Someone in the tmonews forums already ordered that and the T-Mobile version did not fit into it.

Hello,
I see that there are 2 differents HTC Touch Pro2.
One is the T7373 from HTC and some T7379 (like telus in Canada) where there is an audio jack near the USB port !!
So some cradles don't fit to these specials T7379 HTC Touch Pro2

I just received this cradle:
The box is clearly marked "for HTC Touch Pro 2"... and it does not fit my T-Mobile TP2.
Place I ordered it from says "then you don't have a TP2".
I'm like "pal, I know what phone I have. It's a T-Mobile version - would that matter?"
he responds: "It shouldn't matter" (with some hesitation).
I'm sending it back.

the tmo version has a different shaped bottom than the htc unbranded one. the verdict is still out on the att&t, sprint, and verizon versions since they haen't been officially released. thats the reason this thread was created, we need to share what docks, if any, will either
a) work with our version
or
b) made specifically for our version

Hmm yeah, looks like nothing fits the T-Mobile version yet.
ckinwing, which one is that? Looks like it might not be fitted around the bottom-front, and so might potentially fit the T-Mo version?
I'm looking for something light and compact, like the iPhone cradle...
like i mentioned earlier, two mandatory requirements for me are the ability to charge a spare battery and an audio out so i can listen to my music at work while charging it. Hopefully something comes out soon or someone discovers a version that is compatible

Anywhere to buy the AT&T quick circle case in Canada?

I am in Canada and am looking for the LG quick circle case that enables PMA charging (necessary for both the AT&T model and the Canadian model to enable any kind of wireless charging). Does anyone know where I can get one? The case that Rogers sells does not have any kind of wireless charging support and just slips onto the back of the phone. I have tried looking through all of the major carriers websites and some other websites and none of them seem to support wireless charging of any form.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: A battery cover that enables PMA charging may also work since I already have a case and may be easier to find.
Amazon may have them. At any rate it can't hurt to check. EBay would also probably have them.

It snaps/hugs to the back of the battery door instead of replacing it (unlike the other variants). Model number is CCF-345N
yeah, we get screwed.. I hear there may not be *any* wireless charging accessories. I picked up a GelCase today from Robbers and gave them feedback that they NEED to get LG to bring in accessories.
If PMA gets installed on the iPhone 6 we're going to be okay as the market will follow and and accessories will be available. If iPhone 6 comes with Qi, then we're screwed.. even more.
Hopefully the Canadian owners of the G3 aren't forgotten. I'm just disappointed that we got shafted and ended up with the AT&T standard for wireless charging with no capabilities out of the box. Talk about a money grab

Oh, as Canadians… we're always forgotten; and we should expect to be disappointed, and shafted.
I know this is from a different phone and tablets, but the contents we get from Sony Z2/Z2 tablet we get in Canada is just about the worst in the world. Other countries get fancier bundles. The same goes with the G3, other countries received better G3 package (even though they could be promotional items).
But hey, we have great health-care!

You can get an offical case from amazon or ebay
Keep an eye in the model number as all lg g4 quick circle cases are numbered a certain way
You can get stickers taken from cases or the offical cases but the offical cases will cost you 30 bucks vs 5-10 bucks for non offical ones
I have an non offical case but it still works and i sold my g3 they are very reliable

G6 UK/EU, No DAC, No Wireless Charging, No Release Date.... No thanks LG

I really feel let down here, in the UK/EU we won't get the additional hardware features like wireless charging and DAC yet we are still having to wait to learn when we get a release. Surely it's quicker and easier to manufacture kit with less hardware in it !?!
Double whammy, if i am going to have to wait then S8 here i come.
It will be interesting to see the price in the UK, might be why we have the most basic model.
If they charge a stupid price, then it will be a much harder sell.
S8 looks like it will be a stupid price, with current £/$

Agreed it will be a hard sell if they don't get the pricing right too, but they have the perfect opportunity to steal a march on Samsung and it looks like they might miss out completely with the S8 available for pre-order 29th March in an EU region according to the source in this article...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/pre-galaxy-s8-galaxy-s8-29th-march-t3577914
It's an easy decision for me, because I don't like AMOLED. Although if it is priced crazily I still won't get the G6.
The P10 Plus even has my attention and I'm not a fan of Huawei. (Despite the fact most of our internet infrastructure seems to run on their kit, lol).
I think the UK version is going to be £699 I have however imported the Korean version to the UK which cost me £680 and it has the 64gb storage and the 32bit dac

Seriously? I was monitoring the g6 to replace my g2. But no wireless charging or dac in Europe? Too bad for LG, because I won't buy it then.
I was considering importing the Korean version but have read that LG haven't honoured warranties in the past when people have done this. Not dropping £600 on a device with that type of risk (particularly with recent LG issues)

So as per my original post thread, no thanks LG !
I cannot believe Samsung have beaten LG to it for UK release, what a missed opportunity. I have just ordered an S8 as it's shipping on 20th April (free Samsung bluetooth speaker via Carphone Warehouse). Still no sign of a LG G6 UK release date, they might as well forget it surely ??

Can an international S9+ be bought through the Samsung store in the US?

I want to buy an international S9+(G965F), but every time I search the Samsung store, it says the phone does not exist. I realize I can get the G965U through the Samsung store, but I want the unlockable bootloader with the Exynos processor. Is purchase through Samsung blocked for the US?
Im sure you answered your own question lol. The way people are doing it is buying through CLOVE UK.
They will ship the EXYNOS version to you, it comes with warranty and all. However its $1000 USD.

Please note that the International S9+ have a region lock and it will be removed if you activated the device with a SIM card from that region after that you can use any SIM card from any country.
If you decided to buy from the Internet ask the Seller to provide you with a prepaid SIM or to activate the device with a local SIM card first

Is this region lock new on S9+? I bought a S7 edge online from UAE and I just put in my SIM and it worked without any problem.
And does that mean I cannot use the phone in my region if it is not removed?

No it is not new at all. I purchased the S7E for a friend from UK and it was regionally locked.
Even when I opened S7 , S7E , S8+ boxes you will find a label on the box mentioning the regional lock.

*Since September 2013, Samsung has implemented a 'region lock' on all new stock. Clove Technology only has access to models designed for the “European” region, which covers both UK and mainland Europe. The compatible countries are listed below**.

Activation requires turning the device on for the first time & completing set-up with the SIM installed, then completing at least 5 minutes of voice call(s) with this SIM.
Without activation you may still use the device outside of these countries when 'roaming' - using a SIM card from the listed countries.
If this activation procedure is not followed then the device will lock when first attempted to be used with a SIM card from outside of these regions. Local Samsung support may provide a code to unlock such handsets.
**All member states of the E.E.A and the following additional territories: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M), Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia and Vatican City.
IF YOUR CHOSEN DELIVERY COUNTY IS NOT LISTED, CLOVE TECHNOLOGY WILL BREAK THE SEAL ON THIS DEVICE AND ACTIVATE IT. YOU MUST AGREE TO THIS PROCEDURE IN THE CHECKOUT BEFORE THE SALE WILL COMPLETE.

Please note that the International S9+ have a region lock and it will be removed if you activated the device with a SIM card from that region after that you can use any SIM card from any country.
If you decided to buy from the Internet ask the Seller to provide you with a prepaid SIM or to activate the device with a local SIM card first

When you buy from CLOVE, they will do the REGION UNLOCK for you by inserting a UK Sim in the phone, make a five minute phone call - this unlocks the region and makes it possible for you to use it in the US. I purchased my Note 8 from them and it was perfect when I received it.
Clove UK is selling the 128GB S9 Plus for around 724 LBs (or approximately $1014 if I recall) the few extra dollars it costs makes it well worth it to me. Remember, ATT is selling the 64GB Snapdragon here in the US for around 900. With Clove you get 128GB - well worth the additional cost.

That's good that they unlock the devices for their customers because other UK websites doesn't do that.

Im sure you answered your own question lol. The way people are doing it is buying through CLOVE UK.
They will ship the EXYNOS version to you, it comes with warranty and all. However its $1000 USD.

Edit: thanks for the info. Misunderstood VAT. That is pretty reasonable... Preordered an unlocked US model but considering this now instead
I really want to wait for US sources (I got my 935f from B & H in NY), the SIM lock might get in their way - unless they get some prepaid SIMs to go with them).
I also would like to wait for more info after in a lot of hands of posters here + some rooting instructions at a minimum, and maybe some custom ROMs being available also.
Anybody from the US here got the s9/s9+? Obviously I'm also trying to get the only acceptable version (SM-G965F) especially for this kind of money. I don't want to go through another source waiting game with a carrier phone. What's our best option? Just Clove?
I was really hoping to get this phone. My 5 year old Note 3 needs to be retired!
I just looked at clove pricing and it says £870 Inc vat. I assume that's taxes correct? Thats about $1200. Anywhere cheaper that will take region lock off?
You could get from fleabay (eBay). The nevermsrp seller consistently gets good feedback. Another seller Sobeonline also has those at an okay price of $900 but only black/gray colors are in stock presently

Hi,
Just looking at the Clove site for pricing etc. How do they know you want it unlocked for the US??
Do you have to call, message or whatever so they do what you have described in post??
Thanks, Ken

Hi again,
Just went through checkout at Clove. Total for 128gb version
was $1,033.25 shipped.
Also I see this disclaimer when checking out:
Samsung’s region lock stops use of this handset within your chosen country unless activated with a European SIM. I agree for Clove Technology to break the seal on the box, activate the phone and remove the region lock by completing a 5 minute call on the handset.
There is a checkmark for you to agree to this like you said.

There is a process when you are purchasing the phone - if your shipping address is in the US, there will be a check box you have to check authorizing them to use a local Sim Card so they can do a region unlock for you. They don't charge for this - it is just part of their service.
Check the box - complete the purchase - and if you want the phone faster, check the box for DHL Express delivery (adds another 15 bucks or so) and you should get the phone within 3 business days or maybe less. they shipped mine on Friday -I had it Monday. I hope that is helpful

I think global phones imported from China are usually much cheaper, but I could be wrong.
Guess it'll have to balance price with warranty and aftercare.

I would buy a CN version and install a EU rom, but apparently its lacking band 20 I think. Making it a bad choice for UK.

I didn't think mi has an official store?
I have seen the "Xiaomi Mi Store" which currently has 20% off. At the moment it's just under £600 for the global version.
Currently they only have the the mi 10 global version, so I'm waiting for the Pro edition. I want to compare the price of both before committing to either.

Here is the Aliexpress link
The discount brings the phone down to $ 719.00 - 744.99 which while high, is better than the recent announcements that this phone was going to cost $999 or more!
Seriously, who would by a Xiaomi phone at that price? Especially when Xiaomi phones are always missing a lot of bands, and we already know that this one is missing bands. If Xiaomi expects premium prices then they should offer 100% of the same bands offered by Samsung, One Plus, iPhone, and Google. Because at those prices there is no excuse to short change customers on anything. Including IP ratings, HD streaming and locally available, and solid customer service. Since we know those things are not yet available, this phone will fail horribly at selling units, that is unless they drop the price.
It's disappointing to see Xiaomi, who have always been about building quality phones at a low price follow in the footsteps of Huawei and others by substantially marking up the prices.
I had planned on buying this unit but now will wait and see what happens. Keep in mind that a Snapdragon 865 is only 25 % more powerful that a Snapdragon 855. While the Snapdragon 855 is 45% more powerful than the Snapdragon 845.
Finally, there is no doubt that this is a fantastic phone. Congrats to Xiaomi for building their best phone yet. But as I mentioned it is missing the things needed to be eligible for top shelf status.
Something else to consider: The phones are definitely cheaper if ordering from China, here is the issue with that : Miui 12 will be released sooner rather than later, and the Global version of Miui has been rumored to be evolving into a very different experience from the traditional Miui.

Huge thanks for your reply, it has really helped me.
I didn't realise the global version would miss any bands (I thought that was just the Chinese version.)
I've now checked the official Xiaomi page and the global version of the mi 10 is missing 3400MHz (Band 42)
Band 42 is used by all the UK network for 5g. (Including my network 3uk)
I'm not going to spend extra money getting a 5g phone if it's got a 5g band missing.
I need to look for another phone now, shame because I loved the phone and especially the camera [emoji3525]

Are you sure, I've read good things about "Xiaomi Mi Store" and that they do ship genuine global versions.
It is listed as a global version and the global version has just been released for sale (or pre-order in Italy and Germany) on the same day.
After a little more research it appears even the Galaxy s20 ultra doesn't have 3400MHz (Band 42) either. I must be missing something here. I obviously need to do further research

In the description it's missing b20 band. If it's accurate description, that's not the global version.
I'm waiting for it to drop on Amazon Italy, Spain or Germany. Amazon Itália promised pré sales for yesterday, but it's still not available
thats a common scam from chinese sellers. they announce a phone as global, when actually its the chinese version with a global rom flashed
