I am a beginner in porting roms field and I want the easiest way for beginners to port any custom rom for any device.
The latest update for my device is Android 5.1.1 and it is obsolote. I know that the most appropriate solution is to buy a new phone, but I want to make a port Android 10+ from any custom ROM for my device, not to save money, but I want to enter this field because I am interested in it and also to share this Method on my YouTube channel.
I have stock rom Android 5.1.1 and I want to port for example DotOS 5, Lineage 17, BlissOS 13, Arrow OS 8 or etc... and thanks in advance
Not possible. It's too old to be upgraded to this version. I got my Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 upto Android 7.1.2 from Android 5 and then 6 (after support end).

GSIs must based on Stock Android. not Stock Android boased on GSI.
make a try bro,, i dont try android 13 before,, but .... i ve installed android 10 based crdroid on android 11
and i've tested android 10gsi , 11 gsi and 12 gsi on android 11 xxauj1 its run and perfectly running.. now i am using crdroid because lot of themes and customize in that rom
