Last night my phone updated automatically. This morning I noticed that the screen has a yellow tint (whites are yellow). The reading mode is off.

Hi, everytime I install a custom ROM, when I try to activate WIFI the phone just hangs. I have press power+home to make it reboot but then it just goes into reboot loop. I have to restore it to a clean backup I have in recovery.
I've tried with several ROM's, iridium, darkfab, etc,etc....with all of them, turning wifi on allways gets my phone to hang and only through recovery I can get it going again...
anyone has had this problem? I've tried clean installs, app2sd, no app2sd, etc,etc...problem is wifi...everything else works fine....
Any help would be greatly appreciated...and by the way, thks to all developers as they keep this litle phone getting better all the time

I have the same problem and have tried everything I say. and also that my data plan is no more than 256 down. Hopefully someone will Offer a solution. sorry for the translation, use google because I speak Spanish and my English is not good.
When you were flashing the custom ROM had you the FW that was required? its very important...
I think that might have been the problem. I started all over and tried to follow every little detail. I now have installed another rom and this time I'm sure I had the correct FW. I'm gonna test it now....Will let you know soon .....

I now have the full working ROM with WIFI...it probably was the FW not being correctly installed. At the moment, MiniCM-Alpha3 ROM is working brilliantly....so lets see how it goes...
Thks for the help, it allways is some small detail that makes one get frustrated...Have to read instructions more carefully next time

This happened to me too. When I install the firmware 2.1.1.a.6 for my mini, originally with the version e10a and with firm 2.0.a.0.504. After several tests with different firmware I see this problem with this version of firmware. Now I use the firm 2.0.2.A.0.24 and wi-fi is behaving legally. I can not use ROM MiniCM Alpha3 because this version has the prerequisite 2.1.1.a.6 the firmw.
I am Brazilian, do not speak English. I hope you can understand.

What I did was do a full reset through SE update Service. It installed the newest FW in my phone (2.1.1.a.6). Then I simply followed the install steps for MiniCM Alpha3 and all worked perfect. Try it.

Hi, also updated with theSEUS, everything works fine, not only the WIFI. The system hangs when it will be activated.

Hi, didi you install with SEUS PC Companion or with SE Update Service? Mine only worked when I updated with the SE Update Service and not with PC Companion...

Apart from the firmware... I'm afraid you have to look into the baseband version... 015 is newer, but may not fit for all custom ROMs, so pay attention to those tiny words.

Personally, I don't pay close attention to the latest ROMs, a stable fast and battery saving ROM is preferred, no matter it's 2.1 or 2.2 or else, right?

I have been updated my phone tonight and... Now the red light works and you have new battery status icon. The phone is still fast and I think this rom have some resolution change because I have more space on my desktop.
I just found out that Samsung has released Kitkat in Brazil and it's Build Version is different from what they released in Russia.
Russian Kitkat: I9200XXUDNE4
Brazilian KItkat: I9200UBUDNE2
Anybody knows their Difference ? Does the Brazilian Version has the same bugs or not?
Upgrade problem
I installed the new version and stopped the touch.
I tried to install another old version stopped working and the network.
Today I am using a version of cyanogem to use the phone.
I think this version with this problem.
(Eu instalei a nova versao e parou o touch.
Tentei instalar outra versao antiga e parou de funcionar a rede.
Hoje estou usando uma versao do cyanogem para usar o celular.
acho que esta versao esta com problema.)

Changelist is different, so there are changes. But what, nobody knows...
i was on russian rom and had no problems, no bugs no lags but huge battery drain compare to JB, i tryed factory reset, preflashed the rom , done some tweaks from internet like disabling ok google speach etc etc nothing helps... barely get out 4 hours on screen time( JB 7-9h). Yesterday flashed this brazilian rom currently charging battery to full and hopefully fast battery drain is gone :fingers-crossed:

Hello comunity ! I bought 2 days ago a Xperia Z5 Compact E5823 model (i live in Romania - Eastern Europe) and when i boot it up i skip everything and update straight to android 6.0.1 .....after factory reset again i see no fingerprint option and have never seen it even in launch configuration startup althow i skipped everything. Now i am reinstalling xperia firmware via companion (recovery mode) to see if the option will be there or not i am so SO dissapointed about this fact .....is it possible that this is a model without the sensor ?

Unfortunately not .....i don't have the option on security (fingerprint missing) ..... i reinstalled 6.0.1 but nothing . Now i am doing 5.1.1 with flashtools to see the result maybe there is still hope ....i see that this is the Z5C E5832 Rev 1.0 so it should have the fingerprint right ? :S or at least if it's not working show it in settings .

hey there.. i`m from romania too.. take a look over here http://www.androidauthority.com/no-fingerprint-sensor-for-us-xperia-z5-z5-compact-667816/ , on short .. if you have an US model you don`t have a fingerprint sensor.. where did you buy it from? your z5c ?
P.S. Tryed 2 versions of android 5.1.1 oficial but none have worked. I see the fingerprint setting now in the security part but after i imput a pin it's going back to security menu like this feature should not be in this phone .... if i test it with *#*#737...... o fingerprint sensor it will exit the test right away .
Anybody fixed this problem or should i call warranty ?

The official website is delayed but that is 100% legit. From nubia itself as long as i know which version it is i can always download it from past to new
I see you have games like Genshin installed. How has your experience been with the gaming performance of this update? When I got the OTA and updated to it my experience was terrible. Every single game was running SIGNIFICANTLY worse. I used the CN rom to downgrade back to 2.24 and everything was back to normal which means the update was the problem. Terrible update from my experience.

But did you reset the device after the update? For a new Android it is always recommended to format it from the factory! And when did you receive the android 12 update?

My experience is ok not that bad. Is almost the same as 2.24. for me there is no big significant changes only in game space ui.. its been 2 days since i updated my phone so not enough time to check it as far as my concern everything is stable. At first there are some hiccups some lags but after awhile let the NEO AI do its work everything start working ok.
I did not reformatted my phone i just download it and updated it.. but based on my experience if you update your phone directly to its latest update its not a good idea. (2.17 to 7.07) you must update first to 2.24 before going to 7.07 i think in redmagic its better to download or update 1 by 1 rather than jumping directly to its latest.

I did factory reset after updating as I always do and the performance was terrible. Btw I'm the guy from the other thread and I explained it to you there

It came from the phone's OTA so it has to be stable update. At least I dont think they push beta updates directly to the phone's system update.

No idea about root on 6r. Thought it was impossible but I saw someone else say the same thing you just said here. If you can't find a way to root on Android 12 then just know that downgrading back to android 11 is possible.
It is safe to upgrade from 1.24 to 7.07 directly? My stock rom is global i cant download the 2.24 in official website it gives me eu rom when clicking 2.24 america version. Thanks!
