READ ME OUT!!!! Please I need help from everybody in this Forum. All the Developers; My phone is bricked - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I own a Tecno Spark 4 KC8 Android 10 Device having a MediaTek chipset. I tried to install TWRP on it. First I flashed an empty vbmeta.img file on it and all went well. Secondly, I flashed twrp.img and all still went well. Problem came in when I tried to reboot to recovery. By all methods, the phone booted to the stock recovery instead of twrp making me to think that my mission of flashing twrp was not effective, so I decided to close the bootloader. Then when I tried to boot up my phone using "fastboot reboot," this is where the turning point came in. My device is stuck at the logo interface and it goes on and off repeatedly with the following message displayed each time it tries to reboot
"Red State
Your device has failed verification and may not work properly
Please download boot image with correct signature or disable verified boot
Your device will reboot in 5 seconds"
And that is it. 5 seconds is now "thy kingdom come" and it seems only low battery will even cause the phone to shutdown as the battery is not removable
Please I need help. I have the SP Flash tool and Stock Firmware but I am not sure there's likely to be a fix as I can't even go to recovery mode or use any adb/fastboot command. Also there's no Tecno Service Center in my area

Please as shown in which website? I can't see a link to the website you are talking about

The link in my post.

Method 1: Use MTK Secure Boot DA file with SP Flash Tool
1. Download the latest version of SP Flash tool and launch it.
2. Wait till SP Flash tool loads up. After a successful launch, navigate to the download tab.
3. Click on the “choose” button in front of the Download Agent option and select the downloaded Chuwi Custom secure boot DA file
4. The custom DA file should now be loaded (you’ll see it in the address displayed)
Now you can carry out all the tasks you want to perform i.e. FRP unlock, IMG flashing, Security codes check, Firmware flashing etc.
Note: Do not use “format” devices with secure boot or flash using “firmware upgrade” option. You can use these feature with normal(default) DA files but not with Secure DA files.

How do I do that? I can't see any flash button and do I need to load the stock ROM into the Flash tool also? Please give a step by step procedure on how to go ahead before I damage this phone beyond repair

1. Extract (or install) SP Flash Tool.
2. Extract Download-Agent (DA) file to the SP Flash Tool home folder.
3. Copy the Scatter file to the SP Flash Tool home folder.
4. If you've downloaded the ReadBack file and want to make backup of your device, copy the ReadBackfile to the SP Flash Tool home folder. If not, skip this.
5. Run SP Flash Tool.
6. Select Download tab.
7. Click Choose button for finding the Download-Agent and select the Download-Agent (DA) file.
8. Click Choose button for finding the Scatter-loading and select the Scatter file.
9. Click Options in the menu bar. And then select Option.
10. In General tab, UNCHECK "LIB DA match" and UNCHECK "Storage Lite Cycle".

wow this is straight forward. Now a few questions. Please answer them accordingly
1. After doing all these do I need to connect my phone through USB?
2.Will Flash tool auto detect my phone?
3. How do I choose options; format, readback? Or will the options show up if my phone is autodetected?
4. Finally which option should I choose depending on the state of my phone? The phone does not boot. It comes into boot screen and turns back off after 5 secs and it has been in this state since the problem originated (I don't know if this is the state called bootloop). Do I format or reedback or which option?
Please answer my questions as asked so that I will best understand

[GUIDE] No IMEI, No Baseband, No Backup? - SOLUTION

No IMEI, No Baseband, No Backup? - SOLUTION ~ Soft Bricked from No IMEI, No Baseband, No RIL, No WiFi MAC, BT MAC, comms etc.
DISCLAIMER:
*What you done to your phone is at your OWN RISK, you choose to do this modifications to your phone and don't blame me if anything goes wrong.
Preface:
Recently I have noticed many people who tried to flash Custom ROM's on P780 and causes the phone to lose IMEI, Baseband, RIL, WiFi MAC, BT MAC, SN, comms etc. and causes connectivity issues (including me), which renders our phone turned into a "AndroidPod" media device that cannot make calls, SMS etc. As an example, my phone which faced the exactly same problem.

See the IMEI and baseband are still there in factory mode!!!
What could cause this is problem to occur is probably during ROM flashing process, the installer probably wiped out the /data/nvram (folder/partition). The /data/nvram (folder/partition) is the heart of your phone of all communicating feature, if the (folder/partition) is corrupted, just like I said, no communication features.
*Actually the baseband is there, but because the /nvram (folder/partition) has corrupted, the Android OS were unable to recognize it thus showing Unknown.
So no backup = Phone dead? Nothing but a media player?
First step, ensure your phone:
On Stock ROM
Rooted
PC have ADB drivers installed (If you don't have it please ask Uncle Google :good
Well, that isn't true, recently I found out, the phone can actually be easily recovered (on most MediaTek devices) and gain at least those comm features back by simply delete the whole /nvram (folder/partiton). If your phone coldn't recognize SIM card, wait a while after deleted the folder, your phone should have signal after maximum 10 seconds of waiting.
*In most of the cases MobileUncleTools give AT command failed to send probably the /nvram folder is corrupted, simply delete the NVRAM folder and reboot will do.
For WiFi MAC address fix (WiFi NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10), because the solution already been posted, so please click here.
Bluetooth MAC address fix: Firstly, using any File Explorer with Root abilities navigate to /data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB/BT_Addr and also a BT_Addr file under /data, then copy both files to your PC. Then open up the file by using Hex Editor (HHD Hex Editor). To fix a static MAC address, just simply type in your MAC address on the first row (0000) from column (00-05). That is what your MAC address should be (Edit both files with the same MAC address). After you have modified it, put it back in the exact location and remember to change permission.
Actually you can also get restore your IMEI, WiFi MAC, BT MAC, SN by restoring a backup created by MTKDroidTools with other exact same model as your phone.

If not working after you've reflash the ROM, try delete the /nvram folder. Make a backup of the folder first with MTKDroidTools before delete!!!. (Although it is corrupted)

10)Forgot pattern lock!!!
Ans- Use AROMA file manager and delet pass.key under data folder.
11)Will Mi3 network work in US?
Ans- Yes
12)Will rooting Void warranty?
Ans- No,rooting is allowed from Xiaomi.
13) Why weak vibration?
Ans- Tap Menu button then go to settings>sound and scroll down to vibrate on touch and enable it .There You will see an adjustable submenu with 3 options ::: Light/Medium/Strong.Choose the one you need.
14)How to see developers option?
Ans- Tap 10 times on build number under Setting>About phone
15)Gravity Box/Xposed Framework will work on MIUI?
Ans- No gravity box will not work on miui as MIUI is highly customized rom.but there is alternative WSM TOOLS(google it)
16)USB OTG not working!!!
Ans- Check your usb drive is formatted under fat32 or not.Or use stick-mount app from play-store to mount NTFS file systems.....
17) ......more to come

Solution for those who are facing assert failed error
I was facing assert failed error so i followed below steps:
Extract recovery.img from the update.zip file.
Download fastboot download minimal adb and fastboot if you don't have it.
Keep the recovery.img in the same folder as fastboot resides
Download superuser update package and keep it in storage
Turn of the phone and press volume down +power then connect device to pc
Let it download drivers from windows update
Then using command promo navigate to the fastboot folder and type this command
fastboot boot recovery.img
Nothing will happen for few seconds on device then cwm will boot
After that flash superuser package using install zip option.
Reboot and enjoy your have rooted device.
P.S this will not install cwm permanently

I double-checked even triple-checked the address in MiFlash tool. It is correct.
The point to be noted here is that the error message is seeking the file "flash_all_except_storage.bat" in the Images folder in the decompressed ROM Directory. Is there any such file in the Images folder? I could not find it in the Images folder when I decompressed the ROM.

If you do not see that .bat file in the decompressed folder then just choose any of the available .bat files there.
Just take note that the flash_all.bat will wipe the phone, the other one will keep the current files and will just flash (dirty install) the ROM.

As you said, you can not install an OTA update if you have rooted the phone and/or you have made changes in system files, you need to restore the system (not a factory reset) to its original stated. You need stock recovery too.
You can use Flash Tool to flash the original ROM from Zopo, but be sure you uncheck the USERDATA mark if you don't want to loose your files/programs/configuration...... Once you have the original system back, you have to apply all the OTA's until you reach the last 20151016.
Once you are in the last version make sure to backup boot.img and system before you root the phone again, so next time you can only restore using that backup instead of flash the original Rom, so you only will need apply the last OTA.
If you want to use it, I made a bakcup from the last 20151016 system and boot using Flash Tool > Read Back optión, so if you flash this backup you will have your system updated directly.
https://mega.nz/#!xVpglLIL!uo6Bik6LO5aHiFuPxG5HH0fxGytXUhiPDuXofxDul2Q
Just unzip the files and use Flash Tool to flash the needed files (boot.img, system.img and trustzone.bin) using the scatter file included to make it less confusing. (Speed 7, not for Speed 7 Plus).
Regards.
Thank you elperroderoke, i have used your backup with no problem, the strange thing though is that the update had to solve "third part launcher is not setted after restart" but i've the same problem after every phone restart i lost about half number of icon on launcher.
New update
Hi elperroderoke, there is another update, can you give me your updated backup as last time?
Thank you

This phone can be very simply rooted with NewKingrootV4.52_C127_B227_xda_release_2015_09_28_105243.apk
After doing that you would like to remove kinguser and related files, and replace it with the well known SuperSU.
Run the script given here: http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html

Kingroot and framaroot doesn't work.
how can i root new update 6 MM on speed 7? any method ?

Prestigio 3404 need stock boot.img, and system.img (for flash using fastboot)

I tried to install custom rom on my phone. Flashed wrong recovery, after changed to working recovery (which i had previously) phone didnt detect sim cards. I think it was because of system so thats why need system.img. And boot.img because read somewhere to flash boot.img using fastboot, so flashed and phone have bootloop now. Thank you from the mountain. So I think if i flash boot.img and system.img with fastboot it will work fine again.
EDIT: Found stock rom at russian forums gsmforums.ru and 4PDA forum
Phone working but I still have problem that it can't read SIM cards. It's dual sim and both sim cards don't working tried with some other cards and don't work too. Someone have any idea? It's wrong recovery flash problem? :/ Because phone can't read cards since i flashed wrong recovery and returned to working one. Thanks, hope for fast reply.
Help
I have found the ROM but it would be helpful if you could link it too. I haven't flashed android before and don't know how to do it properly, so it would be of great help if you could tell me how you did it. I have tried few things but with no success.

Sorry for the really late reply, but I've bought 3 new phones already in the meantime so I stopped watching the forum for the solution. Here's the link for the stock rom: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/d126368659a8/KK_4.4.2_stock_ Prestigio 3404 Duos.7z You should be able to download it without any problems. If You encounter some problems then tell me in next reply and I'll upload the rom to the other hosting site. Next thing You should download is a file from this link: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/c1e9138eac6e/backup.7z It contains scatter file which includes required info for SP Flash Tool to flash the image. Extract both files to the same folder on Your desktop so it'll be easier to find them. To flash the rom You have to download and install SP Flash Tool. It would be best if You'd follow the tutorial on YouTube like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CxDF2pkdCQ Here's the link to SP Flash Tool official site: https://spflashtool.com/ In the flashtool You should select download agent which is inside the tool folder and is most likely named something like "MTKallinoneDL". Then You should select scatter file from the rom folder which is named something like "mt6752_android_scatter" The next step is to select the "download only" option from the menu. You should follow the video on how to install the drivers and what steps You should take to connect the device correctly to the pc. So once again:
1. Download all the files and extract them:

Yes sp tool use same fastboot rom....
Welcome to mtk....
This processor is not good for development. If anything go wrong then you must brick it...it is very easy to brick...
Then you go to xiaomi service center or use this tool...
I also bricked my phone and yes the Mi Flash Pro contains the Secure Boot DA (Download Agent) Loader file for our Redmi 9 (MT6769). I messed up the bootloader so I formatted the entire flash memory hence relocking it in the process! Waiting another 366 hours to unlock! MediaTek devices are so easy to brick like the OP mentioned.
It's not working for me , Redmi 9 (Lancelot). I have hard bricked phone and everytime I tried to flash it it is saying " status_brom_cmd_fail (0xc0060005)"

You must download miflash tool pro....not a regular sp flash tool....
Then you select the specific download agent file which is.
DA_6768_6785_6768_6873_6885_6853.bin
Then your problem must be solved if you select wrong download isn't file then this problem occurred.. you should read my full post there I link the download address of this tools..

Thanks in advance

I think your bootloader is lock.. my bootloader is unlocked then this process is work for me so locked bootloader maybe some issue....
It does not actually turn on the redmi screen and the unlocked padlock appears, after that only a black screen appears and it detects the device only as adb, already if I connect it with vol - if it detects the sp tool

I I am not talking about your lock screen. I talked about your bootloader. Do you unlock your bootloader with mi unlock tool
We are talking about the same thing, I also mean the bootloader, when you turn on a Xiaomi device with an unlocked bootloader, an open mini padlock appears, that indicates that if it is unlocked, I unlocked the bootloader, I tried to install magisk and that was when my device was bricked
