Question How to unbrick phone using other method than fastboot - Realme GT

I am the owner of china set gt and managed to flash to global rom. By the time i wanted to relock the bootloader my phone was suddenly bricked with this display:

I tried to access the bootloader mode by pressing the volume down button and power button but to no avail. I even tried various combination just to access to bootloader mode but failed. Is there any other way to unbrick the phone? I tried making some research but since the phone is quite new, so there are not so much info I that could get.

The rom you used is not a full package rom.
We should never relock.
If you find it on the Internet, you should consult a person who can restore it remotely.
If it's impossible, go to the nearest Real Me service center...
I think you need recovery. img
For your information, I requested recovery tool to Realme China online center.
Here's the result

I saw in the internet about entering into EDL mode for all qualcomm devices. I am not sure if this option can be done on realme gt, and even if it does, there is uncertainty if this method can unbrick the device. I try to keep looking other options. If not, then I may need to send the device to the customer service.
Some people say that the customer service may have to replace the motherboard in order to get the device work again, which I think the cost to replace the motherboard wont be cheap.

You were rightly told that under such circumstances you cannot block the bootloader.
No motherboard replacement is required, this is a regular brick that can be restored in 10 minutes via EDL. It's just that the gentlemen from Realme are greedy and do not share any tools with us, such as Oneplus.
You can contact the service center, or ask to flash it remotely, you are given a login / password in the special software MSM download tool or QFIL, or similar software. There is also a person on the Internet who can do it for money.
Keep us updated

Managed to unbrick the phone by flashing remotely using msm download tool. Need to pay couple of bucks for the guy to do the flashing.

China rom. If u brick ur phone, need to flash with china rom. I only flash global rom by myself. Since i dont have access of msm download tool, so i pay to someone who has.
I just search if there is someone provides remote flashing services in the internet. Then i found a telegram group that provides the services. They will remote access ur pc via teamviewer and do the flashing for u. If u already have access of msm download tool, u can do it by urself.

Can you give u the telegram account so can help others ?

According to the official post all oppo phone shares the same flashing method which’s indicated here: https://bbs.coloros.com/thread-69458-1-1.html
But since currently only Chinese version firmware is available so flashing between regions is still a myth....
Hi, my friends, what's going on? Has anyone been able to actually install the international version with all languages in the Chinese version PAFM00 ?? I'm turning up the internet and nothing. My color is in version 5.2.1 and I would like to know if you already have a secure provision for this update.
I tried to flash the A. 28
official ver but did'nt work ot stopped in t he middle of the process, and then it says update failed. I did it with this method did'nt work.

Never try any of that unless you have teh cash to buy a new phone or take it back to oppo to fix.
There are posts here about trying to flash different roms that mess things up.
Wait till you have the unlocked bootloader

If you read the forum, you will that one person has done what you said.
He now has to send the find X back to oppo.
Also he can't flash his original firmware.

You can use the msm tool. If you have a login and password.
Loads already posted on this topic.
Most are waiting for the 15th to see if they are lucky enough to unlock the bootloader.

Problem is "No one HAS the password"..... hopefully someone can grab the script, as the Chinese Rom is [email protected] in general is very poor, which makes the find X very difficult to use as a daily.
I love the Find X, but it desperately needs a stock rom, or even OxygenOS would be nice yes I know that can't be posted, but anything stock would make the Find X an absolute joy....:good:
I just took delivery of my R.O.G though so I can patiently wait to see if anything does happen.....
how to flash ozip ?
@Uometydev
1) Are we able to download the full RUU firmware from Oppo ?
2) Are we able to flash Oppo firmware through fastboot oem method ?
Will wait for your reply soon
Does anyone successfully unbrick the phone in recovery mode?

the current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed

Last night I unlocked my bootloader and installed twrp recovery but somehow my mind changed so I thought to revert back changes and i download stock recovery of Realme 3 pro from somewhere(can't remember source) and after flashing it without checking it I ran a need command "fastboot flashing lock " and after that I rebooted my device and now it shows "the current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot " and now I can't even boot into fastboot mode to do something to revert back it .....At last, I'm here for suggestions on how can I make my device run normally.

Hi,
I also had the same problem but I managed to get out of it. Install twrp recovery through fastboot and flash the stock rom of realme 3 pro after doing a wipe. It worked for me and I got back my phone.
contact 'softichnic'
it will cost 30 us dollar.
I also suffered from bootloader relock error, but softichnic engineer fixed my phone through remote control.
good luck

If you read the post carefully it says 'cant enter fastboot mode', if we could enter fastboot there wouldnt be an issue. When recovery and fastboot dont work then only QDLoader mode remains (vol up + down) but to use the realme flash tool you need a login which only service center staff have. Only option in this situation is to take it to the service center, which i have done and got it fixed under warranty.
When a cracked version is available for the flash tool then we wouldnt need to go to the service center and flash its .ofp file on our own

The flash tool is included with the ofp file, but its just a waste of time. It will ask for login which only realme/oppo staff have or wait until we get a cracked version. File link is here:

Xiaomi bricked my MI A3.
And even though it was their faulty firmware i flashed (Botched batch files cooked into the firmware they they themselves released) and flased with their own Mi flash utility, Xiaomi support say " nothing we can do, youre in the US - beat it.
But they CAN do something about it: All they have to do is authorize my account to EDL flash my one device but they wont. This is a VERY BAD and EXTREMELY SHADY business practice because nothing travels faster then bad news and i'm going to tell everyone in all the many forums i'm part of and social media (twitter, facebook, XDA etc.) to stay far far away from Xiaomi devices at all cost because they want you to brick your device thinking you're stupid enough to buy another one. They'll get blowback from this **** they're pulling. it' a guarantee!

It's your fault as it is theirs, just get over it, pay 10-20USD for a service which will restore your phone in 10 minutes and enjoy the phone.
Just paid $28 to have it unbricked
Probably a good idea to use whats app on PC as he'll give you a few links for chrome extensions, and Meganz file to download (VPN, Ultra view and certain version of Mi flash). I already had the stock ROM. I didn't know any better and was on my iPhone and had to type in long web addresses from iPhone to PC, but he downloaded an app I missed remotely.
I will stay on stock from now on as actually any custom ROM I've ever downloaded has had some sort of bugs. not worth it when android 10 is coming next month. And Xiaomi stills sucks

Can you provide the link and the exact rom that you used? I fell back to stock rom 2 times after trying unofficial roms and I didnt face any problems. Sometimes the bootloop can be resolved by just changing the active slot.
Same here with me with my redmi note 5 pro, i came to mi a3 after bricking it.
He phone would still work pretty great it only I had a authorized mi acccount to edl flash it
hello Op, if you are kind enough, can you share the contact who help you to restore your device.. i have the same problem and i don't have an authorized account to perform a edl flash.
thanks in advance for your comments.

I flashed this recovery and YES it works but you need to be EXTREMELY careful coz it is VERY buggy! Booted into it a few times and after my device became unresponsive and then BRICKED with no access to the bootloader! I ended up formatting it with SP Flash Tool and in the process re-locked the bootloader. Now Xiaomi wants me to wait for another 336 hours to unlock

We do not need to install TWRP recovery because of there is no custom ROM and the source code is not release yet so please please do not do this dumb thing. I brick my phone to time and learn that the device is not for play because it is a MediaTek processed mobile phone
Chances of getting into a boot loop are 99% if you flash this unofficial TWRP. I was lucky I knew how to restore my device without taking it to a service center!

Yes I know you follow my instruction and that's why you do not need to go to to customer centre..,...
Yeah I happened to see your instructions AFTER I restored. The 'magic' is the secure boot DA loader file that supports the Redmi 9 MTK chip and which is contained in Mi Flash Pro. I actually used the standalone SP Flash Tool to restore the phone having managed to obtain the mentioned loader file from Program Files after installing Mi Flash Pro. I have always had a number of Tecno and Infinix devices that are usually MTKs so I knew the risk and how to get out of it beforehand!!!

That's very misleading. Showing a screenshot doesn't mean the recovery is functional because its not! It does not even respond to touch input and remains like that until you press the power key to turn off the screen.

GUIDE EDL POINTS and TOOL (no fake points)

Hi , here's how i managed to start edl on my bricked Poco X3
- The true points are hidden by the usb map , and NOT at the place mentionned in many "putaclic" web pages.
- This place make it really harder to connect than in other know devices.
- Here is my solution :
01 remove cover ..
{

}
now remove green screws on the top+orange screw in order to remove plastic cover and access mother board.
02 unplug power map (in red) + usb map (in green)
03 now you see test points (in green) and fakes ones (in red)
04 make a tool using aluminium or coper paper and adhesive
05 place the tool in order to contact points like this :
06 reconnect usb map
you will have to press with your favorite nail to get edl start
Thx and Credits:
@mahajant99 (XDA and telegram) for found the points
Myself for the tool and method without remove mother board

For my personal tips, I would avoid flashing custom ROMs and stick with the stock one until at least a stable version of recovery and ROM had been released. I had 4 devices prior to this present Poco X3 and none of them I had hard bricked. Only bootloops.
Anybody now about THE edl point for note 9 pro is? I test it from pictures om Google but it didnt work
Thank you very much for this helpful guide. I hope I do not need it. Very deceptive of people to publish false EDL points. Thanks for that tip ??
I'm curious, can the back panel be easily removed and attached again or is it glued?

Not yet, while there are official roms (could be stable). Recovery is a disaster, many bugs and flaw because all of them are still at Alpha version. So i think you gotta wait for another month

Hi,
I have a Poco X3 with a Locked Bootloader and is Bricked. Can someone please guide me on how to unbrick it or unlock the bootloader. I've tried the EDL method and it works but I don't know what to do after that. Do I keep the aluminium foil in and then flash it?, or press the power button? or something else? Any help is appreciated with steps. I don't wanna lose this phone so I hope someone can help me out. Thank you!!
By any chance do you happen to know edl points for Motorola edge 20
