[Solved] TWRP Problem Mi 8 Pro EE - Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
I have a problem with installing and starting TWRP for the Mi 8 Pro Explorer Edition (Codenamed Ursa).
I have the latest version of Miui Global available for my device (MIUI 12.0.1), and I have unlocked the bootloader with the official procedure (successfully).
I followed the guide for MIUI.eu (the same with all devices to tell the truth) to install the latest TWRP available, but when TWRP starts the device remains off. I can get into fastboot or start it normally, but I can't install it despite ADB giving me positive results.I also tried to install older TWRP, but the result is the same, the device does not start the TWRP, remaining off. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks a lot to everyone
Ps. When I unlocked the bootloader I had to enter some registry keys otherwise the annoying bug came out that when connecting the device to the PC it came out of fastboot mode, opening a black page with a white writing at the top left
PPS. I want install MIUI.eu 12.5, So I'm wasting all this time

Does it show any error when you try to run these command?
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img

I solved it follow guidance at this Link.
After my phone enter edl mode, i just simply flash it using miflash beta for windows 32 bit due to urgent situation. I still on personal trip during when this situation happened and can't access my pc and laptop.

You could just have rebooted ur phone to fastboot mode and unlock the bootloader using mi unlock too to make the phone workl
It would have been way easier

Unfortunately, my phone already entering diagnostic mode during that's time. Did miflash unlock can solved it?
Thoght that i am missing one important step after flashing those miui eu rom. Reboot to fastboot prior the phone reboot into system and unlock the bootloader.
Anyway, thanks for your info.

Strange TWRP recovery issue on my redmi note 4

Hello friends,
Apologies if I posted in wrong section.
I successfully installed Lineage 8.1 (along with gapps) on my Redmi Note 4 and is working perfectly fine (without any crashes/hangs for last couple of days. But there're some issues like
1) I tried to install TWRP multiple ways but it doesn't enter TWRP recovery mode on its own (when I press volume down+power) but instead it always stuck up at "Fastboot". So I use laptop to do that job every time I want to go TWRP recovery mode, by running 2 command at "cmd prompt" from laptop (this method works fine) =
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot boot recovery.img
IF I try to install TWRP using xiomitool it throws "Error 1006: The device is offline or unauthorized" but from cmd prompt I see device list with "adb command" without any issue.
How can I solve this issue to make my phone to TWRP (without using laptop) when I press "vol-down + power"?
2) Now that I'm running custom ROM 8.1 on my redmi note 4, how to update it regularly, Does it get updates on its own OR should I manually download Lineage 8.1 updates/apply them?
3) I did NOT root my device and am not interested to do that unless its of great advantage. Please advise if I should do that. If yes, which method is the best one (Magiks/Supersu etc.)
Thanks!

Fastboot is BROKEN

Whenever I try to install anything or flash anything like a recovery on fastboot mode, even if I try to initialize it or plug it into the mi firmware flash program it turns black. When I type in fastboot devices it recognizes it. I have installed all the drivers, I tried using USB 2.0 ports I tried using USB 3.0 ports I tried using different cables and still nothing is working, I should mention that my bootloader is unlocked I was successful in unlocking it and installing TWRP , this only started happening when I removed TWRP by flashing an update then not patching the update so it got replaced by stock recovery then when I tried to reflash TWRP this started to happen. so now I'm stuck with a stock recovery and no way of flashing TWRP to make any kind of modifications. COULD it be I screwed up my bootloader when I flashed the zip? It's possible that the zip may have been of a older version....so I might have installed a older bootloader...I dunno.
But fastboot can detect your device?
ussualy stuck on recovery because arb, is your device poco f1 or mi8?

Poco, it's not stuck in recovery, it's just whenever I try to do anything in fastboot it's just goes black and says on the top corner press anything to reboot, so I can't flash TWRP I can't use miflash I can't do anything that requires fastboot

This problem may happen when USB 3.0 port is used to connect the phone to PC.

System crashed and not rebooting on Redmi 5 Plus - tried almost everything

My system crashed when I was typing in Whatsapp and since then the phone is trying to reboot but is stuck eternally in the boot screen with the Mi and Android logo. I only had 100 MB free space, so maybe the system cannot boot because of that?
- The newest version of Mi PC Suite cannot connect and an older MiPhoneAssistant version is only able to flash the ROM.
- I tried to clear caches with fastboot but it says "device is locked. Cannot erase". Also flashing TWRP is not possible.
- When trying to start adb shell in bootloader mode it only says "error: closed".
- It is possible to start adb shell when the phone is stuck in the boot screen, but without root permission I cannot access the data folder
So I really tried a lot, but as this whole topic is new to me, maybe someone has another idea? I once already successfully recovered encrypted files from an old Windows partition and I didn't imagine that this would be so difficult on a phone. I only need my notes from the MIUI Notes app, (almost) all the other stuff was backuped.
