Third party 64MP Camera App? - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Questions & Answers

Trying to rebuild my phone Googleless ... but can't figure out how to get camera apps (e.g. the one that comes with Lineage, OpenCamera, etc) to see anything but the 16MP camera... is there some kind of trick I'm missing?

[Q] Archos 70it, third party camera apps don't work

Hello,
Camera applications, other then the stock camera app, fail to work.
They boot up just fine and show image appropriatly, but when taking a picture no image is saved. I have tested a few camera apps, particularly Vignette demo and Paper camera.
Paper camera: this one shows the shutter animation, but nothing is saved.
Vignette demo: application informs that a picture is taken and then freezes.
The stock camera application however saves the pictures just fine to the sd card,
Does anyone have any idea of how this problem could be solved?
Many thanks in advance
On my A32 the only other cam app i can get to work is fast burst, It gives you a few more options than stock. I have tried every other cam app i can find with no luck, i have noticed that the scanner now works in google shopper with the new firmware.

Best camera app for the TrueSmart?

I use CameraZOOM in my phone as my primary camera app. Sadly, on the TS, it crashes frequently, so I can't use it there. The stock camera app doesn't crash, but it fails to save pics randomly (?)
What 3rd party cameras are you guys using? I dont need high-end features, just a quick snapshot that I can later sync using dropbox. Any recommendation would be appreciated.
Was trying a lot of different camera apps in order to try to compensate for the extremely dissatisfying image quality I get from my TS (are all units crap or might there be a problem with the sensor/wiring on my particular unit).
Anyways, settled for camera 360 for the time being. Allows for correct rotation in the viewfinder (you have to rotate the final image after shooting though) - and it gives me a chance to hide the crappy quality behind loads of effects...

best camera app?

stock camera stinks, so what is best camera app to try with it?
Haven't tried it much since our camera sucks anyway, but Open Camera has lots of settings to play with.
I like Snap Camera HDR on play store
I am more put off by the slow opening speed and focusing of the stock camera app. Stock Google camera is basic but solves the problem.
I use Camera MX. I like the Live Shot option. However it takes a lot of sd card space and only you can see it. (You cannot share a Live Shot, except in the form of a video or GIF. I don't think the GIF option even works. )

[SEARCH] Camera app using wide and normal

Hi everyone,
I (ecological reason) bought a Fairphone 4.
It's really not what I expect from a phone so I am looking to update some apps.
The main issue I get is this one on Camera.
Fairphone 4 doesn't allow to record video from the wide angle camera... Yeah... WTF !!!
It seems to be described on the sepcs, but why ??? How a camera can be reduced to not recording video ?
My old LG G6 does it with wide camera.
Whatever, I tried to use other apps as Open Camera, HD Camera and others but I doesn't find a way to switch, even for picture mode, from the main camera to the wide one.
Do you have any idea of which app I may use ?
Thank you
buy that phone yesterday, have the same problem! By any chance, do you find some solution? Also i want to change from defalutOS to calyxos, but again - big issue inside camera.

Question Ultrawide AUX camera in Android 12

Just wanted to ask a question to anybody who has upgraded to Android 12/OxygenOS 12. Is the ultrawide camera usable as an AUX camera in apps like GCam? Or is it still only accessible through the stock camera app like in Android 11. I would also really appreciate if somebody with Android 12 installs the "Camera2 API Probe" app from the play store and reports back with the results. Is the 8MP ultrawide camera listed in there?
Only 1 back and 1 front cameras are reported.

That's unfortunate, it's what I was fearing. Looks like the ultrawide camera still isn't accessible outside of the stock camera app.
