Is it possible to uninstall google dialer and message through adb and then install realme dialer and message app using apk?will it cause bootloop?

I have a Pixel 3 and was eager to finally the Gmail black theme as soon it released so I installed the latest APK from APKMirror (September 27th release). The black theme wouldn't apply or show, however. The application menu shows the application's install source as "Package installer" (or however it translates). I tried to remove the app with adb.exe by "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.gm" and after a reboot it seemingly worked. Under the application menu I can still see the Gmail app, but it's showing "Not installed for this user". If I go to the Play Store, find Gmail there and select Install, the installation flashes and it's back again, but again it's showing "Package installer" as an install source again.
I haven't rooted the device, but is there a way to force an actual fresh install from the Play Store or do I have to wait for the app to be in the store so the update overwrites the previous manual installation? And why isn't the app black in the first place? I have a system wide black theme with every other app respecting it properly and the Gmail app version showing "2019.09.15.2701...".

Is there a way to uninstall the google assistant from the Xiaomi Mi A3 phone?
I hoped I will be able to do so using:

But I had no luck finding it, could someone help?
It I'm not mistaken, assistant is part of the "Google search" app now, so you can't get rid of it. You can disable pretty much all the triggers for the assistant, so you don't need to use it.

When I first got the phone I couldn't set Nova Launcher as the default launcher app so I quickly uninstalled the default launcher via adb pm uninstall command.
I recently had to do a factory reset and it seems that EMUI10 does not allow me to use pm uninstall/disable.
Uninstall returns the error Failure [DELETE_FAIL_INTERNAL_ERROR] while disable tells me that I cannot disable the app.
Is there any way around it?

You can try using adb install commands. Google "install apk adb".
Or you can flash xiaomi.eu rom. It has mi dialer and messages.
