Tab S7 does not reboot. Please help - urgent - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

Hello
I was playing a game on Tab S7, Royal Match, and suddenly, the screen started flickering. So I restarted the Tab. The screen showed the samsung logo, and then nothing, blank screen. I pressed the power button, and it showed power off or reboot. I did a reboot, but again the same thing. So I searched on internet, and it told me to go to safe mode, and then recovery screen. But by this time, the tab is completely unresponsive. It does not start at all.
Please help, urgently, since my class starts on monday, and I need this to take down notes. I have lots of notes on it already.
thanks

The battery can suddenly discharge. Place the tablet on charge for 30 mins and then try starting it.

[Q] 10.1 Bricked After Battery Depletion

Hello all, my first post here so my apologies if this has been discussed or it's in the wrong spot.
I have a stock 10.1 Tablet (Verizon 4G). Last week I left it on and drained the battery. Realizing this I left it on the charger overnight (appx 10 hours) upon turning it on after the 10 hours it hung at the "Samsung Galaxy Tab" splash screen. So I then tried the power/volume up trick to try to boot it. All it will do is boot to a blank screen with an upacking icon or a blinking Android that says "downloading" nothing happens after that. At this point I'm not concerned about the data, its all backed up. I just want to get this up and running again so if anyone can help that would be greatly appreicated.
Also, here's a screenshot of what the Tab is doing.
edit, can't post the screen. Too few posts.

Sounds to me like you booted into download/odin mode. Use the volume down button to pick the icon on the left. Use the volume up button to select the left icon. That will take you to stock recovery... use the power button to pick reboot. If it doesn't boot. Go back to recovery and wipe cache and reboot. If still nothing you will probably need to try Odin and a new rom.
Let me now... good luck

[Q] Phone randomly stopped booting

Hey guys
So I had bought a used galaxy s4 on swappa, got it, it started fine, I took it to the verizon store and got it set up with a 4G sim card, everything seemed good. Let it charge for a bit and then shut it off and stuck it in a box (the phone is a replacement for a family member who is away right now so it was just gonna hang out for a bit).
Just last night I took it out of the box to try and turn it on and get some info on it and it won't boot. When I start it up is says "Samsung Unlocked" and shows that unlocked Icon, that goes away and nothing else happens.
The weird thing is it didn't have the unlocked thing before when I first got it and was starting it up, it had the normal "Samsung Galaxy S4" boot screen with no lock icon, and I haven't done anything to this phone in terms of rooting or romming it. I did boot into the included recovery once, but I didn't mess with anything.
When I try to boot into recovery now (hold down power+home+vol up) I'll hold it down for upwards of 30 seconds, and I don't get anything. It doesn't vibrate indicating it has started up, and I can't get it to do the normal boot and black screen again until I pull the battery.
Any suggestions on what to do with it at this point?

OK I'm gonna look like an idiot here, but this was the issue. After leaving it plugged in for ~30 minutes it turned on fine.
I had charged it to 100% and was sure I had turned it off before boxing it for a few days but I must have screwed something up!
Thanks for the response!

It might not be your fault. You might have a defective or worn battery.

Galaxy 10.1 not rebooting, need help!

Hello,
I have a problem with my tablet, I have looked and tried for several days and have not been able to get any real results.
To start with, my tab originally was running really slow. I thought I may have a virus, so I did a factory data reset. Once it tried rebooting, a warning come up that there was a missing file, I didn't have time to write it down. Anyway, it started to reboot, the boot screen comes up "Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1" but that's as far as it gets. That's all it would do till it drains the battery down, can't even turn it off. I pressed the power and volume key to get into the selection screen to boot or download. I have tried several times to reload the recovery.tar.md5 through Odin3, it says everything works fine, doing this finally allows the battery to show up on the screen while it's charging. Now when I boot it it gets past the former screen and does the video sequence that ends with the SAMSUNG in the center of the screen and hangs there. It finally restarts and hangs on the first screen again. I have looked and looked, and can't seem to find what I need. I really need some guidance, please understand I need some help!
Thanks!
Well, after several more attempts I got it to completely boot up! left it on for a few minutes, got it all setup and onto the home screen. This was late last night, so I decided to shut it down (power off) and plug it in. Got up this morning and it is doing it again! Anyone have any thoughts? Could this be a problem with the processor or any other hardware parts?
Not really sure what's going on with your tab, but you can try to flash the full stock ROM from Odin. You can get it from www.sammobile.com.

I appreciate the suggestion, I already went to Samsung and got everything I could from there - updated drivers, But I did not see the ROM. I will take a look tonight when I get back home. Thanks for taking your time to reply!
I went to Samsung people in Best Buy, he pointed me to the Samsung Kies. He seemed to think it was hardware also. How would I tell if it is either? I am leaning towards hardware, because it did let me get in and set-up my accounts etc... then I powered off & the problem has reared it's ugly head when I tried to power it back on.

Galaxy s4 will not turn on.

I have a rooted verizon galaxy s4. Today I pressed the power button to put my device to sleep. I noticed it shut off the device. I rebooted my phone and all seemed fine. I took my battery out and put it back in, it automatically tried to boot. After about 3 or four seconds the screen goes black. I need help and can provide more info if needed. Sorry if this is no the right play to post this but I am new to the forums. Thank you for any response. Have a blessed day

Looks like we have the same issue. Just for posterity, what rom were you running, if lollipop, did you try and install the xposed for lollipop? I can't get into download mode, can you? If you can, you should be able to correct this with Odin, search for it in the S4 thread. Either way please report back so we can try and figure out why this happened.
Same symptom I had. If power comes on by itself upon battery insertion and phone shuts down after a few seconds it is caused by a stuck power switch. To fix it repeatedly whack the switch on the corner of a table. You will know it's fixed when the phone doesn't turn on by itself when the battery is inserted. This is a common problem with S4's but was difficult to search for and find the answer.

I had the same issue. Put the battery in and it vibrate once and then shows custom padlock and then shut off. Found the same thing on you tube. The smack trick. However, I did not use a table but a book or something semi hard. Smack the phone several times on the power button side and it will work.

* Note this is not a perm fix. This is a band aid. You will continue to have the issue. But this might allow you to return to stock if needed for warranty claim.
This might be an issue with a faulty power button. I had that issue with one of my s4s. the internal switch wore out and the phone would start to boot and then turn off and reboot. and this would continue until i jiggled the power switch.
Just a thought.

i9205 probably bricked, don't want to turn on/charge.

Hi! When i woke up, i saw a blinking snapchat notification so I wanted to wake my screen up and check it. But when i pressed power button/home button - nothing happened. I've tried for about a minute an still nothing, so i pulled out my battery, pulled it again, pressed power button and my phone booted into the "samsung galaxy mega i9205L logo. After 5 minutes i tried to turn it off by the button, but it didn't work so i pulled the battery out again. Now it doesnt turn on completely Phone is not rooted. Any solutions?
P.S. If its possible i want to keep my photos and videos. They are really important to me.
EDIT: I was charging the phone whole night.
Almost the same happened here. Yesterday evening I connected my i9205 to the (official Samsung) charger and I went to sleep. This morning the alarm on my i9205 didn't go off. When I checked the Phone I saw a grey batterysymbol with a white circle in it. I switched off the Phone and switched it on again. I saw a message that the memory was corrupted and the Phone needed a factory reset. I tried this several times but the Phone didn't work anymore. Now I have a blanc screen when I start it up and that's it. Only the backlights stay on. Any help would be welcome!
