Almost everything
What's broken?
Initial S Build,You can expect some minor bugs.
For Mojito
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data, cache, and dalvik if coming from another ROM
Flash ROM zip
(optional) Flash GApps (for vanilla builds)
(optional) Flash Magisk (root)
Format data
Reboot and voila!
To flash on sunny, either try Fastboot tool, else get WinRAR open ROM.zip, Go to META-INF/com/android/metadata
Change pre-device=mojito to pre-device=sunny
Save the changes in the zip, wait for it to complete its thing. Then flash.
Upgrading to a Newer Build
Reboot to recovery
Wipe cache and dalvik
Flash ROM zip
(optional) Flash Magisk
Reboot and voila!

Best Gaming rom for Redmi Note 10, I suggest to install Vanilla build + Flame gapps basic. you will have more free RAM space about 2GB (4/64 GB) and smooth to play PUBG. I used twrp 3.5.2 to install it

Install Magisk v23.0 for rooting, and enable magisk hide for bypass safetynet, don't forget to hide banking app from magisk, I tested it and it worked

you must flash magisk

The rom is superb in terms of customization and smoothness.
I forget to flqsh magisk after rom flashing and now on this rom recovery I can't flash through internal storage. It didn't let me choose from my internal storage or micro sd and right now i don't have my PC.
Any idea to flash magisk without pc or via the los recovery?

I don't think you can flash a .zip from LOS recovery, only sideload it. You would need twrp to directly flash a zip.

Yes i guess. Option is there but can't seem to use. Im using los recovery 1st time so. Will try via sideload. Rom is pretty sweet. No issues at all so far.

Really very nice ROM, customization is great and stable. I switched back to PPUI only because of Certification issue. Will hope to get new builds without certification issue, will switch back then

Thanks. Can you please advise if i install Spark OS again and use this method will I be able to use banking apps without Magisk. My organization apps always detect if I am using Magisk and does not run. It runs fine in other custom roms. Please help

Why does it have to be in f2fs

I have f2fs testet but you can choose another Format ....... I dont know why this bug is present i check this ......

how do i flash this, since the download is in .img? i flash system in twrp treble using option .img and then back .zip and flash gapps in other slot along magisk and any other mod?

I think its not a Problem

This a good Rom, I already installed Magisk and xposed.
The only issue on magisk it doesn't pass safety net, which I don't worry about it.also I installed a stock huawei Camera, is working very good, fast and smooth.
I also added a hyperplus kernel, which also battery life increased.

I know that. But I installed Magisk before xposed. And didn't even pass anyway. I think because the rom doesn't sopport magisk & Supersu.

Right now I'm on AIO Treble RR, also don't pass magisk. This is a issue on all treble for now. But that doesn't matter also to me. I'll try cosmic on the weekend. Can you tell me, any major bugs?

** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Any advice what to do if Quickstep launcher fc at startup? Wiping cache/dalvik is problematic because trwp can not decrypt the data partition. Btw: Does anybody usw a twrp version abel to decrypt it?

Did someone successfully managed to install Magisk? After I flash it, it always does not appear in Magisk Manager. Manager claims it is not installed and offer to do it, but this also does not work.

Uninstall magisk install magisk start if app not in the list extract the zip and install the app manually, and if the app say additional setup needed install it again without uninstall.

Okay, you should uninstall magisk over TWRP then you install magisk via TWRP, then make a restart and boot into crdroid, if magisk app not avaible, then go to the magisk.zip and install manually the magisk.apk (who is in the zip) and if you get a report in the magisk app like this additional setup needed or similar you reboot into TWRP and install magisk again and reboot into crdroid that should work.

This is exactly what I did about 5 times. First I always had to install Magisk Manager manually because it was not available. After install Manager told me that Magisk is not installed and there is the possibility from within the app. Download worked, but installwise nothing happend. It looks like it does not event try

You install it start system and if you get magisk is not installed then go again to TWRP and install magisk, (without uninstall or any wipe or something else only install magisk again) if this also not work ask in the magisk thread.

I have upgraded from crdroid 8 to this rom and losted biometric sensor.
It does not appear at Configurations, the Moto Actions configurations don't work for finger gestures.
It was working at previous crdroid version.
I did a clean install.
Any suggestion on how to make it work again?

Keep in mind...This ROM comes with EROFS formatting, due to which:

Hi, i'm getting error 2 when i try to flash magisk, need some help please !
PS: internal storage showing 0 in twrp
Solved: installed another rom , then formating data in twrp . reverting to this rom and again formating data.
Edit : After OTA update (02/14) wich is not avalable on the official site. i lose recovery and root, and again not able to access memory on twrp to flash anything. twelve !!!argh

Thanks for supporting Redmi Note 10 (mojito).
Website is simple and elegant.
OTA is working: Download of update is fast and install of update is slow but successful.
PixelOS recovery is nice.

Hi, i'm getting error 2 when i try to flash magisk, need some help please !
PS: internal storage showing 0 in twrp
Solved: installed another rom , then formating data in twrp . reverting to this rom and again formating data.
Edit : After OTA update (02/14) wich is not avalable on the official site. i lose recovery and root, and again not able to access memory on twrp to flash anything. twelve !!!argh

You are not suposed to use twrp. Use pixelos recovery

How is the battery performance on this Rom? Especially the latest version 20220211 because right now I'm using Project Elixir 1.4 and I'm losing 20%+ battery overnight!!

I dont realy keep an eye on that if its not an issue. with my usage it last me about 2 days

You have to sideload magisk, twrp dosent support Android 12

What exactly is the "EEA" firmware? is it region specific? Can I use the global one?

Okay. So I'll take that to mean the battery backup is good. Can I flash this from Project Elixir 1.4 or do I have to go back to MIUI?
Before I flashed Elixir, I was on MIUI Global 12.5.5.0
Also, I see you are using build 20220214-1347 but the one linked on this website is 202202211-1953.
Where did you get it and which one should I flash?

That firmware is region specific. Please only use the EEA firmware recommended.

I downloaded and installed the one (202202211-1953) linked on this forum then downloaded and installed 20220214-1347 via the PixelOS in-built updater (OTA). Remember to also flash the PixelOS recovery.

there are versions for global, india and europe, you can use either of the 3

So I installed this new rom on my Renoir (the experimental version of October 14, the 0217)
Really good. Except these bugs (that I hope to fix soon to be able to use it fully :
- on phone calls, no sound of the interlocutor, he hears very well. (if I understood correctly the bug is already known)
- the Tidal application does not work. It remains on its start screen with the logo. On the other hand, VLC or YT works very well for me.
Thanks in any case for the work, it's great that the Renoir is not deserted and can continue to live.
Edit : drain batterry is important too, so for the moment i'm back to CorvusOS.

Is there any way to flash Magisk ?

proximity sensor is ineed not working currently, but thanks to Arian fix might come soon

i was able to successfully flash magisk after re-naming it to zip extension, however you can also patch boot.img with the magisk app and then flash patched image via fastboot

Thank you, although, can you tell me which firmware are you on ? MIUI 13, or MIUI 12 ?
I had problems with more ROMs with magisk. I also tried to patch boot.img using the magisk app and flash that, but my device did not boot after that. I think my problem might be with my device.
I will also provide the specific error code from the recovery. I will provide it later.

I flashed from LOS 19.1 rom without issue

Before back to CorvusOS, i have installed magisk on tequilaOs.
I was before used MIUI 13 firmware.
I didn't need to use the boot.img patch for magisk to work fully.
Just the usual procedure:
- install the apk under Android, (i was used 25.1, i don't try with 25.2) and after :
- install the zip under recovery. (just rename .apk to .zip)
And that's all. After you can update to 25.2, without issue.

Can it be installed over MIUI 13? Or does it have a required MIUI version to be installed over?

The bugs I had during my first test are corrected, it's great.
I just miss the possibility to put the smartphone in standby mode by double tap.

How is the battery life and Screen on Time? That's the only thing that bothers me about this phone.

the recovery is included in the link (boot, vendor_boot and dtbo) is banana recovery

Oh ok, im asking because twrp is old and works only on 11, and miui14 from xiaomi.eu does have only stock recovery.

The roms of android 12 or higher each one uses its own recovery, and no, it is not necessary to install anything, gpay works by default

Just install fw 14.0.6.0, that should suffice

Where i can see changing display refresh rate screen, and also is any equalizer in this rom?
