Does anyone have V600N09h firmware? - LG V60 ThinQ Questions & Answers

It was difficult to get the V600N, but there are several problems. 1. Fingerprint recognition is not possible. Although it recognizes fingerprint sensors, it seems to be a software bug. 2. Quick Pay, the function of LG Pay app, is not working. 3. Quick Help is the pre-release version. The pre-purchase requirement 1. VoLTE is available in Korea 2. Dual-screen execution is satisfactory, but the above problem is too fatal to use as a main phone. The next version of the current version (V600N08s4) is V600N09h, which is not possible to update OTA or to extract Kdz with LGUP. If you have V600N09h kdz file, please share it to me.

Locked bootloader on LG H850K preventing downgrade to Android 6?

Hi all, I have an LG H850K (as far as I can tell an APAC variant for Telstra, suspecting "K" means KILLED BOOTLOADER!). I have a business use case for which I am required to use Android Marshmallow for Band Locking. It appears that this function hasn't been updated in Android 7.x for the LG G5. I have followed every thread on this helpful site, I have;
- Used LGUP (with and without uppercut), attempting downgrade with a few different KDZ files, (H850K10d_00_TEL_AU_OP_0616.kdz, H85010C_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0415.kdz).
:: Each image gets to 11% in LGUP (~4% in Upload mode on the phone) and reports a 0x8....202 "Invalid command.." error.
- Used LGFlashUtil in an attempt to do the same.
:: I get a decompress error in the FlashUtil and barely get started with the process, but didn't press on because of above issues with LGUP.
- Follow LG's standard developer options for unlocking the bootloader, to see if that enables LGUP to succeed with the downgrade.
:: LG's website says that the bootloader is locked and unable to be unlocked for the H850K variant.
1). Is there a way to restore Band Locking functions on Android 7.x? The functions exist through Engineering Mode, via "*#546962*#850#". But they just don't work.
2). Are there any options for me to restore this phone to Android 6.x? I even suspect that using the 00_OPEN file above might disable some of the band locking features anyway because they are low-level commands. So assuming I need to persist with the H850K10d_00_TEL_AU image, are there options if I cannot unlock the bootloader?

The only thing I can think of get root access how I have yet to work out but from there you can install flashafire and can flash just about anything except kernel stuff.....good luck.
Did you manage to find a solution to this problem? I am in the exact same position and need to downgrade the H850k back down to Marshmallow to enable the band locking.

No solution. It seems I had exhausted most options as written above. It appears that Telstra has completely locked down the bootloader, which means no root access, etc., etc. I am sure its in the name of security, but it does in fact mean there is not real hope to revert. That is, unless you are keen on de-soldering the flash, using alternate methods to re-flash the memory and then resolder into the phone.

Is that possible to flash Oppo Reno x10 rom CPH1919 to china model PCCM00?

My friend buy reno 10x from china and he sell it to me i Thailand.
Anyone know is that possible to flash thailand rom(CPH1919EX) in to chinese phone(PCCM00)? I need to convert Chinese to Thai.
I found how to update firmware with SD Card from oppo website here..
https://oppo.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6636
Will it work? Or I need other flash tool?
and I found
The oppo website Thai version are for CPH1919EX
https://oppo-th.custhelp.com/app/software_update_detail/p_name/Reno+10x+Zoom
After I download it I got a file are .ozip format?!?!?
http://downloads.oppo.com.s3.amazon...9/CPH1919EX_11_OTA_0110_all_JPm1xztqBeum.ozip
I'm not sure it need to use "ozip" or webmaster mistake for zip!??
From oppo australia website firmware for same model link..
https://oppo-au.custhelp.com/app/software_update_detail/p_name/Reno 10x Zoom
But it different file and version?!?
https://downloads.oppo.com.s3.amazo...19/CPH1919EX_11_OTA_0100_all_I8XnaGpC4zXf.zip
So I confused.Anyone ever try? update flash rom CPH1919EX to PCCM00? Should I try?
And is that Aus version different from Thai version? can I try them both?
I was call to oppo thailand office but,they don't help me any thing,Just said buy from china no support in thailand.
Hope I can get help here.Please..
I also have a PCCM00 Chinese model Oppo Reno 10X Zoom - which I bought simply because it has awesome features... although I do currently have an iPhone XS Max from my carrier. I was hoping it would be able to replace my iPhone - which I hate. But the Chinese customizations on the phone make it quite a pain to use for me (no offense to the Chinese, I am sure those customizations are super-useful to them, just not for me).
I downloaded the Australian, UK, Indian versions of the firmware from the Oppo support sites (I visited each individual country's support page) - they were all having the extension .zip and the exact same file names so I am assuming they are the same firmware with possibly some minor localization customization.
I copied these .zip files (added country name to the file name) each one to a SD card. Powered down my phone, inserted the SD card into the phone and rebooted in the safemode/recovery mode for Oppo (volume down and power button pressed for 4 seconds).
I went to the install from SD card option and selected the India file first - it started installing, but midway gave an error saying unable to install/failed.
The same happened with all the other countries with the .zip extension - with the installation erroring out midway.
I am now going to try the Thai version (.ozip file) will let you know how it goes.

I think downloading international ROM and trying to install on the Chinese variant is not working. You have to wait for official bootloader unlock. Oppo Reno (non 10x zoom version) is open for unlocaking the bootloader officially, so I am assuming official bootloader unlock is coming for 10x zoom version soon.

How do you know Oppo Reno is open for unlocking? Source please.
I asked Oppo official and they said they won't release unlock codes for the Reno because it opens up too big of a security risk. (I can post the quote later). They implied that they will never release them..

have to download the apk for Reno of "deep testing" and then submit application. The bootloader can be unlocked once your application is approved.

Yes, unfortunately that is correct.
I tried all the stock ROMs available - only the Chinese version of the ROM can be installed on the PCCM00 model using the stock loader. None of the other localized ROMs will work on the PCCM00.

interesting, to clearify, here is the translation:
The OPPO mobile phone depth test has already supported the official version of the Find X/R17 Pro/Reno series. Users who have successfully joined the deep test can unlock the mobile phone. For the information of other models, please pay attention to the latest news of this post.
[Apply to join the depth test conditions]
The application must meet all of the following conditions:
1. Published time must be more than 3 months;
2. No application record within 60 days;
3. OPPO account has been last login for more than 60 days in this device;
4. The number of deep test users has not reached the upper limit;
5. No Customized, government enterprises or companies mobile phones;
6. Support listed mobile phones in mainland China.
[Application to join the depth test instructions]
1. Joining a test plan may have unpredictable impacts on the phone;
2. The three-party firmware may cause some functions of the mobile phone to malfunction, such as taking a photo with the camera. And may cause damage to the equipment;
3. Personal security and privacy on the mobile phone may cause leakage, and security is not guaranteed;
4. Some system functions may be modified after joining the test plan, which will affect the system version upgrade and cannot experience the latest ColorOS service;
5. After joining the test plan, the status of the mobile phone is equivalent to restoring the factory settings. It is recommended to back up the data in advance;
6. The phone after joining the test plan cannot be repaired for free.
[Unlock tutorial]
1. Download the installation depth test APK, enter the depth test APK, connect to the OPPO account, click the “Start Application” button, and follow the prompts to complete the application process. If the application is successful, the following interface will be displayed. (Successful partners who submit the review must switch the version back to the official version and upgrade to the version that supports the deep test when the OTA detects the latest version, otherwise the verify will not pass);

So yes this program will allow to unlock your bootloader but only if you make it into the program, and even then people don't get their phone unlocked, if you read other posts on xda about "oppo depth test".
I may be a new victim of the PCCM00 version. I did apply so now I got to wait 28 days, but then I am not quite sure what to do, to be able to achieve better android experience.
any update on this thread? I want to go from PCCM00 to any version which has english as main language

Update Mate 20 Pro SPSEAS to EMUI 10

I would appreciate anyones help. I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro Model LYA-L29. When I run the commands it tells me this about my Firmware Version:
VENDORCOUNTRY: HW/SPSEAS
BASE VERSION: LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.357
CUSTOM VERSION: LYA-L29-CUST 9.1.0.11 (AUSC636)
OEMINFOREAD: LYA-L29-PRELOAD 9.0.0.1(C636R2)
I want to upgrade to EMUI 10 but whenever I try using HiSuite, HiCare App on Phone it says my version is up to date.
Is there any way to upgrade this phone? I have not unlocked the Bootloader because Huawei is not issuing Codes to do so.
I'd appreciate anyones help with this.
Thanks
i have the same problem
Hello, same issus here
1st thing i would try is to contact huawei support chat.
now the more extreme diy method may break safetynet and stop things such as google pay from working. if you decide to try it, you have been warned.
you can manually force an update through USB OTG.
there is a thread on this forum called "How to update Huawei Mate 20 Pro With Locked Bootloader"
it has the information you need to get it to work.
for the greatest chance of success, you want a firmware with the same cust/preload region as yours
(in the case of the OP this would be C636R2)
note, this can only be done with full firmware files, not updates.
you can use an app called "firmware finder for huawei" (play store) which you can use to find and download the full firmware file.
also, forcing the incorrect firmware will brick your phone. very easy to get confused and try to force a firmware meant for another model completely.
theoretically L29 and L09 variants should both work, however your dual sim functionality might stop working.
I did this sort of thing last year and haven't looked at it for a very long time, just giving some info which may get you on the path if you wish to try the diy method.
ANyone tried? how was it? does it work

Question Phone system version 12.5.062 but no update?

I bought mine from an online seller that stated that it is China version that flashed to Global rom. However my system update is stuck at 12.5.062 with no updates available..
Any idea?
ROM updates get rolled by OEM / Carrier only if they deem it necessary.
I had the same issue and did the following:
1- download Rescue and Smart Assistant for windows.
2- Enable developer option through settings
3- in the Developer options , enable USB debugging
4- Install run the Rescue and Smart assistant software and connect the phone.
5- Choose the Rescue option to download latest software update
6- Ensure your phone model number matches the OS being downloaded , in my case it is L70081
7- follow instructions on the windows Rescue app software and it will guide you through.
Note: make sure to backup your device so you don’t miss any critical data.
In my case this process worked successfully!
good luck

Not sure how to check this but I couldn't see any Chinese word during or after the update. The phone is Chinese and pre-flashed with global ROM by the retail unit. So the update itself with phone rescue did not change anything in the interface so I guess it remained Global as well. Moreover, I couldn't see neither Chinese apps nor keyboard or any other indication stating china version anywhere. Everything works perfectly and I could see enhancement to the camera focus which is good as well as the security update from Feb to March The only indication this works is that the OS version: updated to (12.5.090 ST) .
Hope this helps !
12.5.648 up to date now for cn

Question HMD DeviceKit Tool for Nokia devices

Good afternoon,
I have found this tool:
HMD Devicekit Tool for Nokia Devices: Flash, Reset; ETC
Is it real what they count?
Is it useful for our smartphones?
Can it be used for something?
Greetings
The tool is real, and it can be used for:
Firmware download – You can download the latest firmware for the connected smartphone directly within the tool.
Firmware update – Flash the latest HMDSW software package (flash file to the phone)
Factory reset – Most new Nokia smartphones don’t have a factory reset option. This function is used to reset the devices.
FRP erase – To erase the Factory Reset protection data from the device.
Edit Wallpaper ID and SKU ID – Used for marking devices for different regions. For example, Russia uses the SKU 600RU whereas most of the global devices use 600WW.
Edit phone data – Rewrite the phone ID data.
Reboot EDL mode – Restarts the phone to EDL (Emergency Download Mode) i.e. Qualcomm 9008 mode
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
However, you cannot use the tool without access to an account of an organization that works with HMD, like Nokia Mobile Care (I think? either that, or you cannot use the reboot EDL mode feature without the account or something)
I have found this tool:
HMD DeviceKit- Nokia HMD Service Tool
HMD DeviceKit Functions
Firmware Update: Flash the most recent HMDSW software (flash file to the phone)
Factory Reset: The majority of recent Nokia devices lack a factory reset option. The gadgets are reset using this feature.
Download Firmware: The most recent firmware for the connected smartphone can be downloaded right from the program.
Edit Wallpaper ID and SKU ID: used to identify devices for various areas. For instance, the majority of devices worldwide use the SKU 600WW, whereas Russia uses the SKU 600RU.
Reboot EDL Mode: restarts the phone in Qualcomm 9008 mode, often known as EDL (Emergency Download Mode).
Edit Phone Data: Rewrite the phone ID data.

doubt you can do anything w/ this thing, tbh. Also, I heard that you can use EDL for stuff like bootloader unlocking, it's just that you will have to change certain bits, but the question is: which ones????
TechMesto (a popular Nokia phones' bootloader-unlocking service provider) told me in an email I sent to them that:
We do not know which bytes are written on the chip that remembers the unlocked status. So, even in EDL mode, there isn't much that we can tinker and re-write to the device. I am also unsure if the user firmware that hmd ships to the Nokia Care includes EDL programmer, they never did for the Nokia 7.2 (the last Nokia device I really tried to play around with). Without the programmer, none of the EDL flash tools will work and we can't load just any programmer. It has to be signed by the OEM. A wrong/invalid/modified firehose programmer can put the device into a non-recoverable state.

So... yep, that tool is pretty much useless, unless we know what we're doing, which is.... a strong "No.".
Heck, it seems like you can only trigger EDL by disassembling the whole ****ing thing, then short the test point to trigger it, but if you've read everything above, you already know the answer: what the **** will we do in there???????

did you use nokia OST (online service tool) or you used nokia hmd devicekit tool (there is no cracked version of nokia hmd devicekit tool). and both are 2 different programs for nokia phones.
nokia OST cracked version is available and used to flash some models of nokia phones, whereas nokia hmd devicekit tool is for lastest nokia phones to reset password or remove frp lock or for flashing firmware.

"Minor thing" - wasn't testing playing about for few years, now I'm kinda stuck. Old MTK loader simply isn't it nor it is compatible. What I need to do (backwards):
need to run call recorder app
downloaded new firmware (2.4gb)
all stuff is backed up locally (but the phone firmware)
just for no love or money can't find a decent bootloader to access- recognise the phone to test the ROM.
Any input or guidance would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
