Oxygen os is smoother than color, but consumes power.
Color OS is mainly for China users had loads of bloatware but can be uninstalled easily.
The oxygen OS version for 9r is catered for India and that's the only Oxygen OS version available. 9r was only released in China and Indian Market.
So if you are going to flash the Oxygen OS it's going to be the DA version (india)
OnePlus 9RT is coming soon in October if you want to wait it will have Android 12 instead of 11

You can't it's not released in public.
MSM tool for color OS is not available unless you go to a service center in China and they will flash it for you

I flash it on my 9 se, but I couldn't get the opengapps installed on the latest MIUI 11.
it's obviously stated at filename that it's still Pie ??* maybe you mean MIUI 11 (which still based on Pie)

Sorry for my mistake, I thought it would be based on Android Q because 9 does. Acurrally it is still Pie.

you can install magisk app apk, put miui 13 boot img in mojito and patch it , then thru adb command , you can flash it so yeah , working magisk for miui 13 tho

Cool. I shall upgrade once that's available for my region as I don't see any advantages for retaining A11. A12 FW fixed so many things that I plan to keep using that months old CherishOS build for a long time until the new Trebledroid team sorts out support.

This phone is even better Value than Redmi. I hope it will have custom ROM or Global ROM soon.
I agree that this phone should have its own section in these forums. Since there's currently no global rom, only CN rom with CN bloatware / spyware, it would be nice to have a custom rom, or official LineageOS support.
I plan on tinkering with GSI on this phone. Will post results eventually.

Hoping for goods result brother.
No sadly but I see some people have had sucess with GSI roms. I plan to give it a try once my phone arrives. There's also the option of using a debloating tool.
