Question Apps unable to process h264 and h265 videos - OnePlus Nord 2 5G

This is smth very weird. I have some videos produced on Adobe Premiere (h264 and h265). I can reproduce them perfectly with the OnePlus gallery app or any other video app. However when it comes to process/convert it (either for sending it or uploading it) apps throw errors.
I.e. WhatsApp, telegram fails to send the video (unable to process), Instagram or Facebook stories fail to process it as well.
I had no problem to send this kind of formats with my previous Xiaomi.
I have tried to send it with my friends old Huawei and he can process it perfectly...
So I'm starting to think that Mediatek is the guilty here..
Any idea guys?
I attach the videos

I think there are some issues with hardware video decoding on the Nord 2, maybe that's the cause for your issue as well?
In my situation, video output freezes when video resolution is changed in browsers that have hardware decoding enabled; see https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/video-freezes-in-chrome-audio-captions-continue.4333457/.
Do you see similar warnings and errors in 'adb logcat' as described in that thread?

[Q]-Posting YouTube videos from Eris

I recently tried posting a video to YouTube that was taken from the standard camera app on my Eris. When posted to YouTube, the audio codec is messed up. Normal speech comes out massively garbled and then the audio cuts out about a minute in. I converted the 3gp file to an avi on my PC but it comes out tilted 90 degrees when I do that. Does anybody know of a way of sharing a video to youtube and have the audio work properly?
I had the same problem. The only thing i found that fixes it was to just delete the video and upload it again. might take a couple times to fix though. somebody might have the issue solved.....i usually upload through my gallery and not the youtube app, i dont have any problems when uploading from there
I did the exact same things. I even took the file down to my PC and uploaded it from there. It seems like YouTube is not supporting the file format. It plays fine on the phone and plays fine on my PC using quicktime. I uploaded the original video several times and another one and the problem kept happening. I'm also uploading from the gallery by clicking share>YouTube. Any other ideas>
ok here is what i have found out. with my stock video recorder - the sounds comes in for split second then the video just stays on a single frame and doesnt move but the video bar on bottom shows its playing. So then i tried with the Miui camera app i have installed - it plays the video just perfect BUT with no sound. Right now im looking into apps on the market to replace the stock camcorder, found one but it forcloses on me after recording. Its called "anCorder" try it out it might work for u. I know for a fact that the app called "videocam Illusion" does upload to Youtube and does upload just great with no problems.
Thanks Ricky. I will try those.
Ancorder definitely FCed just as you end your video recording. Videocam illusion did great in a small upload test. I noticed the format was .mov instead of .3gp so I think that helped.

[Q]Video playing

I use mobo player and sometimes when i watch video, the audio is not in sync with the video and I know that the video is lagging. So I would like to know what is the maximum specs of a video(eg: file type, video screen size etc) that the hardware can support so that in future, I can find only of that and below so that my video will not be off sync.

Ace does not play HD videos(720p and above) properly. But 480p videos play smoothly.
Soft decoding is slow and causes that.
Yes, I use MX and there's an option between hardware and software decoding, first say not supported on your device.

[Q] i8910 - crashes playing video (H/W+)

Lately, I have a lot of troubles playing video on Samsung S3 mini (with unofficial CM11)
Main program to play video's: MX Player / MX Player Pro
Main problem:
(1) S/W decoder -> video and sound aren't synchronized. Sound is perfect, but video goes slightly too fast.
(2) H/W+ decoder -> MX player crash when starting player
(3) standard setting (right after reset settings; it should be H/W decoding) -> video crash after a few seconds of playing, but not with every video.
(1) I'm not too tech savy. But I do get that the problem with S/W decoding could be a wrong setting, or a "user mistake". At least, that's my interpretation from this line out of my logs. "04-29 17:07:50.438 W/AudioTrack( 2136): AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_FAST denied by client due to mismatching sample rate (48000 vs 44100)"
(2) But I can't find any reason why H/W+ isn't working. I already tried different programs to playback video. They crash too. Plex gives me problems with certain video's, but I guess that problem is not related with this so I'll try to sort out that problem myself. Logs from MX player and Logcat are in attachment.
I would like to get any advise to sort out this problem.

Transferring/Viewing G5 video footage

Hi all - having a few issues after transferring some footage taken on a G5. The video plays fine on phone, however when transferred across it won't play on my Windows work PC. The file itself is rather large - 2.5Gb (around 20 mins footage).
Work removed the quicktime codec after the massive security issues last month which might account for the issue. Normally I would use Adobe Media Encoder to convert from Quicktime to a different codec within the mp4 container whilst retaining quality/settings etc however the file isn't recognised here. Any suggestions for how to recover/open the file?
On a similar note does anyone know the codecs used by G5 to encode video and if there is a way to change it?
Thanks,
GC.
The issue occurs for me only when I record video vertically.
Only solution I found, rather than recording everything horizontally, is using QuickTime with Media Encoder.

Help me with these problems

Since no one is replying to my post, I decided to rewrite this again.
Problems:
Displaying "Samsung Galaxy Win GT-I8550" during boot
Most of the videos on YouTube (app) cannot be played
YouTube (app) and video players (Video Player or MX Player) is limited up to 360p
Crash when "Videos from the web" card is displaying on Chrome
Why do I care about these?
After countless times of installing custom ROM, I decided to revert back everything to default.
So, I installed I8552XXAMK1 on my phone with Odin3 and I found that my phone is displaying "Samsung Galaxy Win GT-I8550" when it is booting up.
I do know that GT-I8552 is just GT-i8550 but with dual SIM.
This problem might be the reason why my phone can't play any videos that are above 360p. (Problem 3.)
Recently, my phone cannot play most of the videos on Youtube. Even the videos that I used to watch with my phone cannot be watch now.
I uninstalled YouTube (uninstall updates) and I found that I can play the videos that I used to watch. But, after I installed latest version of YouTube, I cannot play them.
I don't want to use old version of YouTube since I really like the UI of latest version of YouTube.
So, I would love to know how to fix this problem without needing me to force myself to use old versions.
I think this problem is related to Problem 1.
My phone cannot play videos that are higher than 360p.
On YouTube, I always need to watch them in 360p, which is pretty hard to me when I am watching educational videos that involves text. Well, this is fine since I can at least watch them.
But, when I downloaded video that are above 360p (stored in phone), I cannot watch it at all. Unlike YouTube that allows me to change resolution, video players cannot.
So, I installed MX Player and needed to enable SW decoder to watch 480p and above videos.
Problem fixed? No, I want to watch videos on YouTube on 480p so it is easier for me to see things.
I really hate this one. Every time I am using Google, it always crashes when "Videos from the web" cards shows up.
Please help me fix this one because this is really disturbing me.
Please excuse my language since English is not my main language and I rarely ask for help online. You might noticed that my sentences are not really well-organised and really hard to read. I did my best to write this and I hope you reply to it.
