Question how to enable System call recording? global version rmx2202 - Realme GT

Hello everyone,
I have the global realme gt 5G rmx2202 and I've been searching ways to enable the deactivated call recording feature on my phone, I know it is disabled in EU due to regulations.
I would prefer not to root the phone or change the stock rom. is there any other way to enable this feature?
Thirdparty apps are useless i have tried both free and purchased ones.
The system call recording is so superior I just cant live without it I used to have it on my korean thinq g7.
I would like to thank XDA forum developers for their hard work and dedication we all appreciate you.
thanks again.

I too would like this feature, in UK it's not against regulations if recordings are not made public. I can also say it's for training purposes.
For some, rooting is not an option as some Financial apps will fail security.

Have you tried "Cube ACR"? I don't know if your particular regional ROM has an internal lock that disables it or whatever, but this at least works for WhatsApp calls.
Edit: I bought Chinese version, flashed global on it.

Call answer vibration does not work

Hello,
Sorry if this is already answered but i use that feature a lot and I need it.
In call settings you have that option to enable but after you enable it there is no difference.
Please help resolving that problem.
Cheers.
I am using an app called vibrate call pro, it doesn't need root access however adding a command through adb, the developer wrote the detailed steps in the play store description and it works flawlessly
Are you trying to tell me samsung S6 is a lot useless then S4 for example?
If you need to install third party software for function that should be available and working why buy that phone at all.

China vs international vs UK Rom.

There seem to be a few variant of the ROM depending on the region. Major difference base on what everyone is saying there is that the Chinese rom is horrible and the global/UK rom is better.
Well I have a OPX China version coming this week. It was a decent deal that why i went for it instead of the other version. So how screwed am I?
Is the China version really crippled? Is there a way to at least make it similar to the global rom? I know google play need to be installed and some app needs colorOS apps need to be removed.
How about notification and ram management? And major difference compare to the global ROM? Thanks for any feed back.
People complained about not being able to add a custom launcher. But you could always use adb to remove the coloros launcher to force the device to use the custom launcher. Also, all global variants are exactly the same, there really is no distinction between them.
My GF is using chinese edition and I am using AU edition, and both of us are in US, so I think I am able to tell you something.
Chinese edition is really for China(I am a Chinese so I know it). It will be perfect in China, but a disaster anywhere else in the world. You can always install google play in the original store and also uninstall some stock software and replace the launcher with adb. But three things are hard to change:
1. The background task is limited to 5.
2. Only the white listed app can auto start, other than the app in the list, only 5 are allowed.
3. G assistant can't work well, and G feed for Nova launcher as well. You will never be able to use ok google or hey google.
And for global version. The background management is worse than what I did with Brevent. And there is no great animation when you do super vooc charge. Other things are perfect.
Oppo is working on allowing bl unlock and Wuxianlin bet her own weibo account for it, so you will be able to flash global version soon.
Thank you for the great input!
I guess the China version is really crippled
Can you change the texting app to 3rd party and/mms like textra?
Whats the point of the 8gig of ram if they won't utilize it.

I keep thinking that if someone can find the variant identifiers in the roms we can make the phone think the international or eu rom is the Chinese one and spoof it into allowing it to install.

Thanks for that very useful. If I may ask couple of questions.
Can you please confirm global version doesn’t restrict notifications? You receive notifications as any other Android phone.
Can you get notifications on lock screen?
Default launcher is easy to change

That’s a relief as the whole reason me for getting rid of the Chinese version and buying the global version was due to the terrible restrictions .

Pie CSC with native call recording

Hi fam, currently sporting a Spanish unlocked Exynos S9+ and looking to upgrade to Pie, but I need call recording for work reasons and Google, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that we the users are too dumb to manage our app's permissions.
The only solution I can think about is to upgrade, then load a CSC that has Samsung's native call recording enabled. Can anybody point me to one? Will this do the trick? Any other considerations I should be aware of?
Many thanks fam.
I am also interested. I think Vietnam CSC has call recording enabled.
halo
did anybody try?? I guessing that changing csc is not that easy on S9+.
I'm also need call recording... thanks

[Q] Call recording

Is the Xiaomi Mi 10, and Mi 10 Pro, capable of call recording?
I'd like to know if call recording: is available out of the box as standard or if call recording is available via rooting the device (if rooting is even possible?)
I'm in the UK and hoping to purchase the Mi 10 Pro (although no call recording would be a deal breaker) . I'm pretty certain any UK, or EU variant, will have call recording disabled, so I'm more interested in the global and Asian versions (although any phone must have all bandwidth ranges, so probably global is best?)
Thanks in advance
Oliver
Ps please don't make this into a debate about the legalities of call recording. There's already loads of threads about that and it isn't helpful to me. I just want to know if and how.
Xiaomi is now pre-installing the Google Phone app on phones sold in Europe: https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-pre-install-google-phone-messages-global-european-phones/
The Google Phone app currently lacks call recording capabilities, but this functionality is in the process of being added: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-phone-app-call-recording-hands-on/
As far as I know all Chinese version Roms ( the only ones available atm) have call recording by default. (This is not xiaomi exclusive).
I am making a purchase and I asked about this I was reassured that it is available.

As far as I know the global version is not out yet. I don't want global version, I don't really use google. I just need GMAIL otherwise it simply doesn't matter.
Thanks for the upvote.

I was, perhaps incorrectly, under the impression that the Chinese version doesn't have all the bandwidths. So it could have issue connecting to 5g in the EU?
Anyway once your phone arrives I'd be interested to know if you're able to record calls? Please keep us updated

I have a one plus 7 pro and the only reason I have it rooted is for call recording. But I asked couple of times to make sure. It's very normal for phones meant for China to have call recording.

Recording phone calls is possible on the chinese version of the Mi 10 out of the box.
I already unlocked the bootloader and flashed the Xiaomi.EU ROM.
Now I have my native language (german) and it's still possible to record phone calls without a problem

Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's good to know the can recording works on the EU rom.
I suspect all the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro varieties should also be able to record calls.
I'm waiting for the Mi 10 Pro global version, with rumoured release date of 27th March.
Looks like an amazing phone, and a big improvement in my aging (but trusty) LG G6.
Thanks again,
Oliver

You're welcome!
But you know, with the global version you won't be able to record calls.
You will also have to unlock the bootloader and flash some Custom ROM.

I understand I won't to able to record out of the box, but I. Believe my own call recorder app by Skvalex will work (hopefully without rooting)?
Apparently the Chinese version is missing a band that is used for 4g in the UK, and I've heard it can have issue with contactless payments and Netflix (but I don't know much about this)
Storage location of recorded calls
My Mi10 is Indian version.I have enabled Beta version of Google Dialer. Now the Call Recording works. But I cannot find out where these recorded files are stored. So anybody please advise me where I have to look for these recorded files.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying with the beta version of Google dialer call recording is enabled? That's great news if so.
You should hopefully be able to find the recordings in a file manager by searching for the latest files immediately after recording a call?

Call recording is enabled in Beta version. The recording button in dialer screen is active in the dialer screen. When a call is active you can opt for recording by pressing this button. But I can't see recorded file with the use of a File Explorer. That's why I am asking this question.

Call Recording Apps

I'm a newbie and know nothing about rooting phones, but before I even attempt to root a phone I have a question. Will rooting a phone allow me to use a call recording app? The latest Android update has made phone call recording impossible on my Galaxy S9+ in the United States. I'm willing to go with a different phone for simplifying the rooting process. Your answers are appreciated!

Yes I have tried many call recorder apps and the results are all the same, just silence. They worked without any issues on my S7 edge but when I bought the S9+ I could only record calls while on speakerphone. After the Android 10 update I can't even do that anymore. Will rooting allow me to bypass those restrictions so I can record phone calls again? Thanks
Try Parrot app. Working fine for my note 10+
