Repartition tool for Nokia 6.1 Plus / X6
Basically by default we used to get around 2.5GB system and 512MB vendor which is no use for modding community to taste larger system image files but yes with the help of this tool now we have full flexible feature to extend till 4.5GB system and 1gb vendor. This really helps your device to survive maximum number of Generic system images which are currently alive in the android development community.

Steps to extend your system and vendor partitions
1. Download tool
2. Extract tool
3. Connect phone to pc
4. Enable developer options
5. Enable usb debugging
6. Open cmd & type adb devices
7. Type adb reboot bootloader
8. type fastboot devices
9. Open Nokia-Repartition-Tool.exe
10. Click on whatever size you want.

When to use:
When you want to go back to stock
When your phone is in a miserable software state that it can't even boot to recovery.
Warnings:
DO NOT USE THIS ON THE OnePlus One
THIS WILL ERASE ALL EXISTING DATA ON YOUR PHONE, EVEN THE eMMC
Instructions:
Connect your phone to the computer, making sure all the drivers are installed.
Enter fastboot by pressing the Volume Up + Power Button
Unzip the unlock.zip package to a folder and then run FastBootXXXXOS.bat
Your system should be able to bypass any bootloops/problems and enter the OS, during this time it is recommended to backup all your important data and prepare for the next few steps.
Re-enter fastboot mode, we will now begin to reflash the system flash memory, which will erase everything.
Connect your phone to the PC if not already connected, then go to Device Manager and check whether or not a device named QHSUSB_BULK APPEARS like below:

It should say that it doesn't have any drivers installed. So inside the archive there should be a inf driver file, to install it right click on the device > Update Driver Software > Browse My Computer for driver software > click on inf file.
The driver should be installed now.
Using the QCom Download tool you should now be able to see the device appear in one of the slots. Just press start and it should start flashing! And when it finishes it should be good as new!

For a project I needed software & hardware to program a flash-IC. Doing some research I came across Flashrom, which also runs on Raspberry Pi. That saved me from buying some USB-programmer because you can simply use the GPIO-port. The inconvenience is that Flashrom only runs from the command line right now. Thus, you have to connect via SSH etc. Being a Kodi user I thought "just give it a try" and here we are:
This plugin installs the capability and a GUI to use Flashrom in Kodi. In the beginning development was started for Raspberry only, but it can probably also be used in general for Kodi installed in any Linux environment. This addon was tested...
