Question Expanded screenshot - Sony Xperia 1 III

Hi all,
There was a expanded screenshot on the OnePlus 8 when you order volume down and power button to capture.
Does the Sony Xperia 1 iii have this option? I can't seem to get it to take expanded screenshots.
Anyone know how I can do this?
Thanks.

Hi, are you asking how to take a screenshot with the hardware buttons? If so, it is also with holding the power and volume down together

Yes I know how to take a screenshot using this method.
But I want to know if you can take an extended screenshot using the hardware buttons. On the oneplus 8 you can take an extended screenshot with the hardware buttons and there is an option to extend the screenshot in which it would auto scroll the display to include the display that was off the screen. Eg. Like a news article, the normal screenshot can capture what can be seen on the screen only but the extended screenshot can capture the rest by auto scrolling and capturing the rest as one long screenshot to include the text that was off screen.

Try Settings - Accessibility - Accessibility Menu

It's a bit late response, but after you've taken the screenshot there's an option to make it "extended" in the lower left corner

1. Power key then select take screenshot
2. Power key and volume down
3. Acive clip from the small apps (recents menu)
You can try mods or 3rd party apps if the inbuilt methods do not apeal to you.

Screenshot live video

With the Note 4 you could swipe your hand across the screen while live video was playing and you could get a screenshot. Holding the power button and the volume down key doesn't let you do that. Is there another way?
On the upper left of the notification screen there is a "Capture" icon. Click on that and it will capture the current screen and drop down a menu with things to do with the capture. Kinda a pain in the rear IMO.
Choose the checkmark on the left side once you capture, then it will save automatically to the gallery.
Thanks..the Pac12 app won't allow that. Is there any other way?

Allways on Navigation Bar? Request!

Is there anyway I can have the navigation bar on all the time? Including fullscreen videos? I hate having to click back on the camera (and other apps) for the navbar to appear when I can just press home if the navbar was always on. Is there anyway to do this through Xposed orany other method?
The soft keys?
If you're talking about the soft keys then there are 2 ways for them to pop up on the screen.
1. Tap the screen (this only works on certain apps)
2. Swipe - if you're in landscape mode then swipe the right edge inwards the soft keys will appear.
If you're in Portrait then swipe up from the bottom edge and the soft keys will appear.
But if you're talking about the Navigation bar then you need to swipe Downward no matter if you're in Landscape or Portrait..

I know how to make them appear, I'm asking if there's a way to make them stay there all the time like physical keys. Off topic is there also a way to remove the delay response of holding the power button for the power options to appear?

Sorry I can't give you firm answers because my phone is with LG for repair, but I do recall seeing in settings options for when the buttons appear and disappear. It allowed you to set it on a per-app basis.
As for the delay response for the power button, your best bet would be to see if there is an Xposed plugin. To use Xposed you'll need to root the phone.
When I get my phone back I can give you more specifics, but LG has the worst warranty repair service and has yet to fix the issue after sending it to them four times.
You at JBLM? Thanks for your service!

Thanks for your reply  but I've looked at everything possibly related to power button delay or the navigation bar (soft keys) on Xposed before posting here and still nothing. I did find a screenshot delay remover in Xposed and works great. Finding the power button is not as important as the soft keys because I can just use Rom Toolbox's rebooter and power/reboot/recovery etc... The soft keys thing on the other hand I would like to have because I hate having to pull up for them to make them appear... Iv'e looked at the settings you mention for showing/not showing per app but every app is not listed, its just some of the apps on your phone (apps that I would like to have the soft keys always on are mostly video apps which are not listed on this settings.) I', almost used to it by now, I just rather have the keys always on or a phone with actual physical keys.
Yes I live in JBLM . I'm a dog handler in the Army.

[TIPS] Makes The home button responsive

Hello,
When you press the home button it takes around a second for the screen to respond that's because the system is waiting to see if you going to double click for the camera or triple click for the one handed mod.
FIX: disable quick launch camera and one handed mod and see the speed.
Regards
I am not experiencing this at all I hit the button and the screen pops on. No lag. That being said, quick launching the camera is something I can't live without.

Question How to screen capture PLUS auto-scroll down?

On allmost all smartphones it is possible to screenshot what is currently shown on display by pressing VOLUME-DOWN + ONOFF
Moreover my old non-Samsung smartphone offers an additional button "Scroll" which (when tapped) let the capture procedure automatically scroll down to capture the whole dialog/window
How can I achieve this auto-scoll-down+capture in Samsung A52S?
It should be exactly the same way. When you take a screenshot, a little toolbar appears at the bottom and you tap the button that looks like a down button. If you don't have the toolbar, check your settings by going to: Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots & screen recorder > Screenshot toolbar. Make sure the toggle is on. If you still don't have it, check you have the app Samsung Capture installed and if not you can only download it from the Galaxy Store.
Ok, thank you. I found the button.
BUT; When I tap on it the screenshot procedure behind scrolls down only ONE page.
If it is a loooong page I have to tap 5 or 6 or even more times to capture really the whole dialog.
Thats user unfriendly.
Is there a way to tell Android to capture everything automatically until the bottom of the dialog after first tap?
Is this scroll feature a Samsung feature on on ALL Android 12 smartphones?
