Question Bootloop. - Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

Hi everyone.
I have rooted my device with magisk. Before unlocking bootloader and flashing Magisk, i disabled any security option, as suggested in this group.
But when i now set a pin code or set a pattern, in the security options, my device will start to bootloop. It will bootloop about 4-5 times, and then im able to enter the phone, and change the security options to none, or "draw". Anyone have a solution, so im able to use some sort of security on my rooted phone.
Thanks..
Rasmus.

I unlocked my A528B bootloder and flash many versions of magisk patched boot even which i extracted from installed firmware
But its stuck on Samsung logo
cant boot unless i flash the original boot again

bricked my moto z after unlocking bootlader and installing twrp

Hello all
I have unlock the bootloader of my Moto Z, rooted it and install twrp.
since that, it's nomore possible to boot with the original Nougat rom.
I can flash other roms with twrp but the phone is no more recognized with i plug it to my computer (MW10)
I have tried many roms and choose the MTP transfert but it don't works anymore.
I think somethin get wrong with the bootloader.
If somebody could help me
Do not forget, if you did "turn on write on system" (or something like that), you need to disable dm-verity!
After this you have to wipe data.
To disable dm-verity it is enough to flash a file with TWRP or flash a custom kernel.
(Everyone here tells that you have to flash a custom kernel in order to disable dm-verity, but this is not true.)
Flash the file attached to this post.
I have try this but it does not help me.
I think something get wrong with the bootloader because everytime i boot it asks me for the pin i gave before unloking it.
i have tried some roms and kernels but already the samr problem

Bootloader is not your problem I think. Can you boot into bootloader from twrp?
Did you wipe data?
Cancel the "enter password" request and then wipe data.
Then data is unencrypted but you can easily enable it with a custom rom.

could you please explain how shall i do this
Boot into TWRP.
It will ask for a password (if phone is really encrypted), tap on cancel.
Go to wipe and follow what it shows. After this you can restart your phone.
Alternatively you can go to wipe, Advanced, select data and cache and wipe those two.
OK; I think I have solved my problem.
I have flashed an image of nougat with fastboot then i have flashed a new logo-bin and now i have th original Moto rom. I also get an official update from Moto.
fot the connectio with my PC I could also solved the problem. The MotoZ was recognized with fastboot but not when it was running with Android.
I have simply buy a new USB cable and now it works.
Thank you to all to have helped a biggener;

how to root asus zenfone live zb501kl

I have been searching in the internet for hours, trying every method i could understand and none of them worked. the main problem is the official bootloader unlock tool provided by asus is not working, it just restarts the phone and it is still locked. one solution is flash a custom recovery without unlocking phone and another way is unlock without the official app or maybe root without custom recovery, i would be happy if someone explains a way to root this phone.
indeed. the official bootloader unlock is not working and just restarting with no changes.
Then i tried to flash TWRP via fastboot it says Ok but no TWRP when I proceed to recovery its only stock recovery.

I don't really need to root it, and instead of creating new thread I'd ask here;
The L1 is my wife's phone now, it's unroot, and never need to be,...can somebody tell me the guide of how to get rid the bloatwares on it? With adb on pc perhaps?
Thank you in advance.

I suppose that you've already turned developer mode on and enabled the USB debugging.
Did you either reboot the phone by yourself or it did that automatically after flashing twrp? There are some devices that just restart and get the official bootloader back. This auto restart overwrites the bootloader.
Some people say that after flashing twrp you must unplug the device and then reboot directly to bootloader by yourself, holding the power and volume up buttons . Have you tried it?

Has anyone suffering battery drain? I've updated my ZS570KL to 8.0 with Asus official but phone became hot and battery drain is dramatical…. obvious reset many time to factory default and wipe all…. The problem appears from the beginning…. starting the initial setup. Thanks.

So is this rootable or is it pre-rooted? I also am wondering if this Oreo update fixed the Quickcharge limit (where QC is disabled)?
It is the only way to update?? Except ota
EDIT. Guys, the other way you can update to oreo is flashing oreo stock recovery and then install the firmware
Wheres the MAGIC
have oreo up and running no problem, lost root/magisk and cant seem to get it back. trying to flash magisk installer failed even up to 16.4 just goes into bootloop, flashing stock boot back and it boots up ok to oreo.
If any one on ZS570KL 2.1ghz has oreo running with MAGISK please post a copy of your boot.img.
the only other thing I can think off is that the bootloader is relocked. Anybody with any experience of this?

I'm having the same issue, also I can't seem to unlock my bootloader using the unlock tool on asus website it always says "Failed to unlock this device, please try again later"
also what's up with this automatic device encryption ? I flashed twrp recovery and it can't decrypt the device using the password or the PIN i've set, I even tried "default_password" still doesn't work

Have you had any luck? I'm having a similar problem to you. When I try to unlock my bootloader using the unlock tool it complains that I don't have a PIN set (even though I do) then fails and says "Failed to unlock this device, please try again later".

Tried all means, I just gave up
I'm happy to say that I got it working. It appears the Unlock tool gives the "Can't unlock your phone right now" error if your phone is already unlocked.
Previously, I was running the Turbo ROM 6.01 found in the ZF3 Deluxe thread. My phone was BootLoader unlocked and Rooted. I upgraded to 8.0 by running the very straightforward "Update_Image.bat" command found in the 8.0 ROM folder. I figured the update would re-lock my BootLoader, so I ran the 8.0 version of the Unlock tool. Then I ran into the previously mentioned error. In my frustration I just said 'screw it, I have 4 of these phones'. So I booted the phone into fastboot mode and flashed TWRP 3.2.2. I expected it to fail; however, it WORKED! I then booted the TWRP 3.2.2 image and flashed SuperSU v2.82 SR5. That worked! I then flashed the Xposed v90-sdk27-arm64-beta3 zip and THAT worked! I rebooted the phone and it loaded up pretty as you please.
I've followed this procedure with all 4 of my ZF3 Deluxe phones and they are all happily on 8.0.0, Rooted, and have Xposed running

SM-J737P wont root

Is there a system app or security feature on the sm-j737p 9.0 pie U7 that needs to be disabled in order to gain root access? I cant get it to flash any su on the device nor get magisk to work right on it. I cant find a guide that will work for it. Is it unrootable?

nope, isnt working . cant disable any dm-verity or AVB, theres no fastboot mode on this phone, the usual things that go into rootin a samsung isnt possible with this one for some reason
Success!!
I got it rooted
. Stock firmware AP > Magisk > magisk.tar > Odin > flash > Root.
Hi can you possibly tell me where I'm going wrong, I've been at this for hours and can't seem to get it working. So based on the guide I've been following, I got the correct firmware file for my phone and then flashed it with magisk. I turn off the phone and put it in odin mode where I flash the patched tar file. Then it says to immediately put the phone in recovery mode, which I do, and wipe the data then reboot and it should be root with Magisk installed. However, this does not happen, instead it just runs through the new phone setup where it downloads a system update and there's no way to bypass it. I also tried flashing twrp, and I made sure it was the latest version and for my model yet when I try to flash twrp and boot straight into recovery (or not, it doesn't matter what I do at this point) the phone just bootloops until I put it back in odin and flash the firmware again. I just don't understand, I've rooted many phones and tablets and I've had a lot of trouble but there always seemed to be more resources and people having similar issues that would help.

Magisk broke after it updates itself

Hi,
I have been using my p20lite with unlocked bootloader (via dcunlocker), twrp recovery and magisk for root access for quite a while. Then, magisk updated itself to the new system, and because i had to hide magisk to get banking working, somehow root is completely b0rked now, and magisk just doesnt work. Whenver an app needs secure, unrooted access to install, it says my device is rooted, yes whenever an app needs rooted access (like backup app) its complains about the system being unrooted.
Does anyone have suggestions to how to regain or reinstate default bootloader/recovery to erase magisk, or completely wipe the phone, WITHOUT losing unlocked bootloader? AFAIK, getting bootloader unlocked is nigh on impossible these days....
I've searched and searched and my google-fu - or lack hereof - hasn't been able come up with solid advice!
Thanks in advance!
The bootloader state is largely separate from software issues. I am not familiar with this particular device, but the principles remain the same.
Does Magisk report "Installer's and Ramdisk: "Yes"? If so, try this:
- Use Complete Uninstall in Magisk to remove and clean up the Magisk installation. Allow it to reboot your device.
- Your device will boot without root. If you have custom recovery, just reboot to recovery and reflash Magisk. If not, install Magisk, patch the boot image, then reboot to bootloader and flash the patched image.
Hope this helps.
