Question Anyone have Android 11 update yet? - Moto G Power (2021)

Getting a bit annoyed waiting for this phone to be upgraded since I just left the 2020 model (broken) for this one. 2020 has 11 but this is last on the list?
So make be feel better and tell me you've seen it.

This is ridiculous. Android 12 is coming next week.

Verizon seems to have the update. Letting anyone who cares know.
Strange that retail doesn't have it yet

I had discussions today with both Verizon and then Moto. What a runaround.
Verizon says that Moto releases the OTA. Moto says it is still waiting for vendor approval... It is a joke. And so is this phone tbh, not terribly happy.
For full disclosure, the phone is an unlocked model from BBY.

Mine is retail us from Amazon.
I do really like the phone but my own damned fault I didn't do the research for the Android version. Very disappointed in being the last phone in the rollout

I failed on my research as well, had been happy with older G phones in the past, and got sucked in by the price point. Oh well, hopefully there will be some development in this regard.

[Q] Can someone take advantage of this for a Boot loader Unlock?

Dan Rosenberg Unlocks Moto X Bootloader, Says Almost All Snapdragon Devices are Vulnerable.
I can't link to the article since I have less than 10 posts so just google it to find it.
Some guy did this and I was hoping the HDX is vulnerable. I don't really know how to check so I was just letting everyone know so if someone wanted to check so we can get some unlocked goodness going.
Thanks
Yeah, apparently he has made even a demonstration of the script on the Black Hat. He said that devices like S5 and M8 are patches so only devices like M7, S4, G2 N5 , Note3 (Snapdragon 600 & 800), which means there is still hope...

both my devices are waiting on the same damn bootloader unlock =\
Hopefully it's released soon.
If they made a universal unlocking script or something, we could use it and get past that legality thing with unlocking tablets and whatnot.

[A510F][Official Update] Galaxy A5(2016) A510FXXU2APC4

Hey guys! Just recently on the 18th of June, I recieved an update available notification with some sketchy discription, which is clearly written by someone with average to little knowledge in english. I know Samsung is Korean, but this is some official stuff which demands formal usage of language. See for yourself.
Has anyone of you installed it? What are the differences? What is this security flaw that demands immediate upgrade?
Current Version: A510FXXU1AOL9
Pending Update: A510FXXU2APC4

Anyone with some news?
That's probably just an update to the Android Security Patch Level
EDIT:
Scratch that, I noticed that the update is over 200MB so it can't be just a security patch... So I went to Sammobile and Android 6.0 started rolling out in Russia.
Build number is different to the one reported but it might be because it's a different region.
I also checked the pending A510FXXU2APC4 update, and it's 5.1.1 based, same as my current version.
I have always been a fan of 'leave it as it is if it's working' point of view. So they are stating there will be performance enhancements and all, but should we believe that? Yes, the conspiracy is strong with me, don't blame me on that.
Also, when the 6.0 update rolls out for my region, will we have the oportunity to directly upgrade to 6.0, surpassing this 'minor' 273MB update?

ATT unlocked and its current state of SW

Hello. I have an unlocked ATT version of S9 plus.
I flashed unlocked firmware to it but after reading so many pie thread, I'm beginning to question if I flashed the phone correctly.
Its been receiving OTA update regularly and its on ARL1.
I THINK I read somewhere in XDA that if you are on truly unlocked firmware, phone must read xaa/xaa/xaa. However, mine shows xaa/xaa/att? (currently on mintsim service which uses tmobile network I believe)
Can someone tell me if I did anything wrong as I have limited knowledge of android phones and I would like to correct it before pie update.
Thanks in advance.
You should be all good. The last one is showing the original software provider version that never changes from flashing carrier firmwares or unlocked firmwares. Basically it shows what the phone was born as I guess is a way you could look at it.
Bought mine directly from Samsung and mine also says that.

At least they've had one hell of a beta test it's been in beta for better part of the year right?
No updates please help me Black sark 2
Recently got a system security patch update of 40 mb and some minor optimisations.
Phone became smoother after the update but the battery drain is slightly high
Well hopefully soon I even asked about Android 12 but no reply on that it would be nice seeing as we can't make custom roms I wonder if it being so out of date that they would release custom roms for this
I guess now we might as well write off the black shark 2 is getting any more updates or support because of the new covid outbreak might as well just write the phone off
For those of us that are left still with using this phone I'm seriously considering I'm trying to contact corporate to see about getting a full refund for my phone
Here's the latest

alright, meow.
Won't update, doe, because I fear that the update might break my root, and by extension, the Magisk modules i've installed for the purpose of customizing my UI, meow.
Well, we do not need root for our phones, so we could update without any problem.
When we do not get security updates anymore, we (my wife and i) will buy a new phone.
