Debug a Ported Custom Rom v8.0.0 (Qualcomm MSM 8937)

Can someone please help me debug a custom rom I made for Asus Zenfone 3 Laser, ported from Xiaomi Redmi 3s. BOTH IS OREO 8.0.0, and the same chipset of SNAPDRAGON 430.
What I did was port the boot.img, it booted up, but wifi, bluetooth, navigation keys, fingerprint, camera, sounds, and hotspot won't work. I've tried porting the system files from the stock to port rom and edit the update-script, also tried these methods:

I'm at a loss I don't know what to do, maybe someone here at xda forums can help me with my problem. My devices doesn't have any support for a custom rom even a device tree.

I don't have this device myself but, I had performed a quick search and located the following (what looks like) the thread for this specific firmware. That thread is there for member Support and Guidance.

Good Luck!

Unless asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my Apple Macintosh.
Hey, I am currently working on the ROM for Orbic Wonder Redmi 3S MSM8937
Let me know if you would be interested in my progress.

Question Are we going to see custom rom development?

Since this oneplus 9r is china and india specific phone so it has low global coverage so are we going to see the custom rom development like other oneplus phones
Probably not.. Just need to see if 8T roms will work on this as we have almost the same setup.
If only 8T Official ArrowOS and Lineage could be brought onto this, would be perfect.
You could try building a rom yourself, you'll need Linux (Ubuntu is usually good), a decent sized fast drive (256GB SSD/M.2).
There are usually guides for building each rom on their github, you need the source for the rom and the source for the device (which OnePlus will upload to their github) plus guides on YouTube.
Resurrection Remix Github ( RR Guide )
LineageOS Github ( LineageOS Guide )
crDroid Github ( crDroid Guide )
PixelExperience Github ( PE Guide )
Project Xtended Github ( MSMExtended Guide )
OnePlus Github
The roms will usually have either a Telegram or Discord group if you run into difficulty, don't EXPECT a response though, REQUEST a response.
Here's the GSMArena page for the OnePlus 9R, GSMArena is an excellent site to find out info about phones and their chipset. This denotes the chipset for the 9R as :
ChipsetQualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G (7 nm)
Here's the Github page on OnePlus for the SM8250, although it's labelled as OnePlus 8, the 9R actually shows SM8250-AC
Strictly speaking, you don't actually need the device to build a rom for it but I wouldn't recommend installing roms from people who build them like that because they obviously can't/have not tested them.

Expect the 8T TWRP to have support for 9R in the next build (not out yet) since I added the 9R to the unified script. Then maybe some more open source projects like Lineage will just unify 8T and 9R development.
Watch the 8T TWRP thread here for progress and that next build which should support 9R: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-unified-stable.4101313/page-72#post-85274307
and you can use my adb insecure patching AK3 zip to get adb access from 9R stock recovery in the meantime here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-unified-stable.4101313/page-57#post-84204575
TWRP for 8T/9R is out now and has its own thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-11-alpha-teamwin-recovery-project-8t-9r.4302449/
Edit: Unwatching this thread now.

Question Will there be any custom rom for this device ?

I bought a moto edge 20 fusion from Flipkart almost a week ago. I've been watching this forum for a week but there have been no posts whatsovever. So this led me to wonder wether this phone will get any custom rom at all.
Even a bootloader unlock or custom recovery for this device would be much appreciated.
If anyone's seeing this post, please don't hesitate to leave your thoughts in the comments.

Yeah same thoughts, only hindrance is the MediaTek SoC. I read around and it seems MediaTek doesn't share their source code or libraries to public like SnapDragon which is necessary for custom ROM development. Also read that one Xiaomi device with mediaTek had great custom ROM support as Xiaomi provided the source code or other resource, so it's not impossible to build custom ROM. Let's hope Motorola and MediaTek provide resources.

Are you willing to test the kernel?
Sakthivel Nadar, has agreed to develop kernel and roms, he is maintaining roms and did bringup for these devices.
- Poco M2
- Redmi 9 Prime
- Realme 1
- Realme U1
- Realme C2
He is also maintaining PE officially for Redmi 9 Prime and Poco M2.
All the above devices are based on mediatek chipsets.
Here's his GitHub for reference.

I'm glad to hear that. still, there's no custom rom A12 based on rui2 that stable enough for me. all of them come from realme 6 user which make unified mt6785 chipset.
