Hi I extracted the boot.img from moto e7 xt2095-1 (malta) and patched it through Magisk. I will leave the download link if anyone wants to try it. (Sorry for my English, I'm using the translator)

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is just a dumb noob question or not,
but if i unpack my boot.img file from my moto g, using android kitchen (cygwin) and if i repack it again, without modifying anything, the size of my kernel goes from 10MB to 6MB, and the created boot.img can't be used anymore.
Does anybody have an idea what i do wrong? I need this to port a kernel (replace bootclasspath)

Hi, I've cooked a rom for android, but never for mtk. I write because I have several dududas / problems when you create a custom rom for Elephone P8 is MTK6592.
Esque theme I followed several tutorials to create a. Flashable zip from the oringinal rom, but all I have created or give error md5 or installed but when I restart the mobile is as estava.
I came to think that after unpacking the system.img and work it, package it and flash back from sp flash tools, but I find tutorials for repacking the system.img
I wanted to know what the best way to cook for this mobile.

Hi. I have a device which nobody has rooted yet (SM-A300F running 5.0.2) and I have read somewhere that it is possible to edit the StockFIrmware.tar.md5 file so that it already has root access (SuperSU,busybox,su)
So how do I do it? I already extracted my recovery.img and boot.img and I have no idea what to do.
Can somebody please guide me.

i can't really find any way to do that,some posts are too old,and others I understand nothing:silly:
First of all I would like to know if there is any tool available for modifying .img files
I would also appreciate if you guys could explain me how that works,I mean I just unpack and repack the image file and done,I can just flash it with TWRP?
