A21 won't charge or power up after battery died - Samsung Galaxy A21s Questions & Answers

I have a galaxy A21 that the battery died on and now it won't charge or power on. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out.

What do you mean exactly? Battery blown off? Reached 0% and turned off on it's own? Battery lost its endurance and needs replacement?

Reached zero percent and shutdown

charge led not blinking when done

Hi,
Got my 101 yesterday and i charged it directly on the power adapter.
I charged it like 17hours but no blinking led?
It all runs well and i think it is charged enough, anybody got the same issue?
Greets
My 70 will only blink if it is turned on while charging, otherwise it won't.
What do you mean, while it is charging or when it is done charging and turned on?
If i charge the 70 when it is turned off, it imediately turns itself on and stays on. When it has fully chrarged the led will flash. However if i put it on charge and it turns itself on, if i then turn it off and leave it charging the led never flashes when it is charged.
Modern Li-Ion battery charge regimes are complex. They will charge until full then turn off until the charge falls below a certain level, then start charging again. So if you happen to look at your device at they wrong time it might not show fully charged because it is part way through the wait cycle. This is done to prolong battery life - it stops the battery from being cooked. You can bump charge a li-on battery to get more juice it it, but that shortens battery life considerably.
Also, it is possible that your battery meter need calibrating. Every 30 days or so let your device run right down before re-charging - this should re-calibrate the meter.
Thanks
I did discover that he only blink when turned on, just what you guys telling here.
Thanks for the reactions

Somewhat same issue, battery charge light NEVER blinked, had Archos 32 for 2 weeks on 2.0.71. The charge would never reach 100%, it would stay at 99% for hours, all day, just could not find that 100% mark and switch to status "charged". When I would wait at 99% for an hour or more, when unplugged, the meter would say 100% immediately after disconnecting it. Maybe it was cycling or doing something battery related, but I doubt it in light of upgrading to fw 2.1.2 and now it charges to 100% without an issue and the power led blinks. Looks like they fixed that bug, or at least it is fixed for me now.
Does anyone have trouble with the Archos 70 not charging at all? This has happened a few times now, I've put it on charge overnight and when I check in the morning the battery is at no charge.

Is my battery dead

SO the original battery is about 1.5 years old. My phone started dying at strange times and refusing to power on, or dropping from 80% to 10% if it powered on again.
Right now there seems to be a charge in the battery but I can't get the phone to power on at all.
The spare battery seems to work so it is some battery issue, but is it dead or can I revive it or another 6 months?
Everything you've said points to a battery on the way out, and the length of time you've had it does as well. Constantly discharging/charging a battery for 18 mths, gradually reduces the life/reliability of the battery.
Buy a new one/use your spare.
So I managed to get it working again. I tricked it by connecting a extra small battery at the same time. After powering on and disconnecting it three phone seemed to recognize the that there was a battery again 2% charged. I charged the battery with phone off. When I powered in the phone said 12% and I charged it again powered on. It's been holding up for 2 hours of use at 86%. I guess I will just have tip wait and see.

Could be battery calibration problems... Try to calibrate it. And a lithium ion battery life is expected to be 1-2 years.

GSM RAZR battery strange issue

After i charge my RAZR turned off to 100%, If I take the adapter out of the socket, but do not turn on the phone, it uses battery. I take out the charger from it at 100% and after a 8h night sleep, the phone reached 50% TURNED OFF!
if i turned it on, then the battery drain is normal.
After reaching from 100% to 50% turned off, the battery drain issue in menu appeared to be SCREEN 23% and PHONE IDLE 23%.
stock ROM.
any help?
thanks!
guess i will use the warranty...

i dont think its the battery to blame. if i start the phone immediately after charging , the battery is ok.
Try restart the phone after full charging, once it is unplugged.
Installing CPU Spy might help too in monitoring if your phone is getting into deep sleep or if something is draining your battery.
i know the solution, i was looking for the battery drain CAUSE
the battery drains is only during the time the phone is closed. completely closed. i doubt that there is a CPU spy who works when the operating system is closed. the phone is at service right now...for another week or so.
AW: GSM RAZR battery strange issue
You're not the only user with this issue. An User here in Germany got it, too.
When he power off his Phone it still drains battery. For him it's better to put it into sleep mode instead of turning it off.

i will post here the info from the warranty bulletin, perhaps it will help him too.
the fact is that i have misplaced my warranty certificate, and i had to send the phone to the company from where i have bought it. and i dont know if they will send it to the authorized dealer or not.
the fact is that it consumed battery only if i took it out from charger closed. if i used the phone normally, and turn it off during the night, the battery usage was 0 during the time it was off.
i just received the answer from the service. the phone can not be repaired, so they refund me my money. but there is no RAZR MAXX available at any store in my country. so..what next? nexus 4? or...? any help?

S3 Battery Drainage couldnt find a specific answer in the forums

My s3 has an ODD battery drainage issue. I went to take a nap today and my s3 dropped over 40% in charge sitting on my bed side. My s3 also doesnt charge while on charger it discharges so it slowly goes down while on charge. It however does charges up when i turn it off.
- Also yesterday I was out and noticed my phone was at 35% battery and i knew my phone battery would die if i left it on so i pulled my battery out and left it in my pocket. When the time cmae i had to use the phone i put the battery back into my phone and turned it on. MY PHONE LOST 15% charge even while OFF and battery not connecting to the phone.
What do i do?

How old is your battery?
Definitely sounds like the battery. I had a similar issue with mine a little while back where the battery would lose the majority of it's charge quite rapidly, or be at 50%, and then it would suddenly die, and then when I managed to get it back on it would be at 2-3%.
ETA: My problems vanished after a new battery install.
New battery needed.
I also noticed that Anker have their S3 batteries on for half price at Amazon UK, well worth an investment.

Battery discharged instead of being charged

Hi guys. Let's see who can help me with this puzzle:
Every night before going to bed, I turn off my phone and plug it in to its oem charger so that when I wake up I can start with a full battery.
But this morning I found that not only did my phone did not charge overnight, but instead it was COMPLETELY discharged.
I understand that maybe I didn't plugged it all the way in or whatever and so it didn't charge, but why was my battery completely dead? My phone was off and nowhere near being discharged just a few hours before. Why did that happened?
