Question Mate 20 pro vs Pixel 6 - Google Pixel 6

Worth the upgrade from the mate 20 pro to the pixel 6? I'm torn. I can't make up my mind to go with the 6 (standard version), the S21 (standard version), or just stick with the mate 20 pro for another year. They all seem pretty comparable?

What have I missed? (been playing with a OP7Pro)

I deserted to the dark side and was using a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G for the last couple of months.
Luckily I kept my Mate 20 Pro, as I'm now utterly fed up with the 7 Pro and it's lack of basic functionality vs. the Mate 20 Pro
So, what have I missed while I was away (I've kept up to date enough to get 9.1.0 on my phone, but haven't checked for the .310 update yet)?

Realme 3 pro or RN7 Pro

I need to buy phone for someone who is not very tech savvy. After doing multiple rounds of research, I have zero'ed in on Realme 3 pro or Redmi Note 7 Pro.
RN7 Pro over RM3 pro: Splash resistance, better 4g+ (3CA vs 2CA), more community support (if it comes to changing ROM, however I doubt, probably would be used all stock), type C USB
RM3 Pro over RN7 Pro: Dedicated microSD card slot, MIUI is bloated on RN7p
I'm unsure about camera, but I think RM3p has better camera than rn7p (both front & back)
Now I'm posting in Realme forums means i'm inching towards Realme, just wanted to know if there are any major problems with this set ? How is the ROM, is it stable for daily use?
I know RM5 pro is also around the corner, but I feeling buying a new phone can be risky as there is no feedback of actual product.

Hello @Mafioso
I just received Realme 3 Pro 6/128gb model. Previously i was using Redmi Note 7 non Pro version because the Pro version is only indian exclusive. So if i compared it with RN7, yes Realme 3 Pro is better in some ways. But yes there is very little android development for RM3P.
Here are some Pros and Cons of RM3P
Pros of RM3P:
- Fast, latest and battery efficient chip
- Far better cameras than RN7 (but i heard that RN7P camers are way better than normal RN7, but never tested by myself)
- Very little android development
- Vooc charging and vooc charger is also included in the box.
And maybe more
Cons:
- Completely Plastic made
- No type C port
- maybe more
Conclusion
So, if you are a guy who want to flash different roms than RM3P is not for you. But overall a good device with good hardware that can handle everyday task easily and a good battery.

After 3 months of using realme 3 pro I suggest you buy redminote 7 pro. It's not a bad phone, but the OS color is still unripe ... MIUI is much better and well optimized.
Realme 5 pro if you want color os or redmi note 7 pro for miui, miui is more stable in day to day usage and snappy.

Oneplus 7t Pro vs Oneplus 7 pro 12 GB model

The Oneplus 7t Pro 8GB variant and the Oneplus 7 Pro 12 GB variant are now priced similarly... I am a bit confused among them: Though they are very similar but the 7t pro has the overclocked 855+,warp charge 30t and the super macro but the 7 Pro 12 GB has extra RAM... Also most of the reviews show the 7t to be performing better in the benchmarking tests...
So which one will be a wiser decision?
Please post your comments and help me choose
I'd go for the 7T Pro because of the small features and updates it comes with. You won't ever use more than 6GB of RAM on a phone since you already need to some crazy things to go over 4GB. So most of the extra RAM you have on the 7 Pro will hardly ever be used.

Any worthy upgrades to the Mate 20 pro?

Hi!
I have had the my Mate 20 pro for almost a year now and I'm mostly happy with it.
I have a swap deal on the phone which in short works like this; I pay a monthly fee for the phone and after one year I can send in my phone and get a new one of my choice, or I can continue paying for two years and the phone is completely paid off. It also includes a screen insurance so the deal is quite good.
But I feel to get the most out of this deal, I have to keep swapping every year.
The thing is, there isn't many phones to choose from in my opininon. They have Iphone which is not a question, Sony, Huawei P30 pro and the Samsung 10 series.
I was thinking of the Samsung Note 10 or 10+, but I'm afraid if the battery will be worse then the Mate. I love the battery I get on my Mate
The phone I really want is Oneplus 7t pro, but they don't have that one of course..
So, is it worth going for an upgrade to any of the phones they sell, or should I just stick with my Mate?
I would like to add that upgrading to the P30 pro would probably be the best choice, but I'm done with Huawei for now. The Mate is a really good phone, but the unlock code being so hard to get is a big no no from me. Even though I got my code for free
Edit: adding a link so you can see the options https://nettbutikk.telenor.no/
The only one I'd look at is the Note 10 plus.
Note 10+ won't give anything close to the Mate 20 Pro for battery life. You only have the P30 Pro as an option at this stage. You can wait a little and sse the fate of the Mate 30 pro
Yeah, that's what I though.. Thanks anyways??

Is it advisable to buy Realme 3 Pro in Jan 2020?

The opinion can be based on long term review, future prospects of update, general quality of the phone etc. Please help as on paper Realme 3 Pro seems better than Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Do you want to purchase it just because it's under ₹10k now?
I have a Redmi Note 7 Pro and I had a Realme 5 Pro for a few days. I can assure you, the Redmi is superior to the Realme in every way, and I'm talking about the 5 Pro. I don't see how the 3 Pro could even compare to a premium phone like the Redmi 7 Pro. The 3 Pro has a micro USB port, for starters.

I have realme 5 pro and realme 3 pro. 5 pro has issues like UI lag, bad camera, bad battery backup. I found realme 3 pro better and it is my daily driver right now. I cannot say about redmi but realme 3 pro is still running smooth even with the with latest update.
If you wish to utilize phone's full potential you can root it install custom ROMS and kernels.
